Nandini was not able to sleep , his closeness and Abhi condition but was disturbing her , when ever she had tried to move he had pull her back in sleep, " when we both became so fond of each other ?" she asked herself ,he shakes his head ,she gently press his headm he was again fast a sleep . Mukti peep in ,she with hand called her
"Abhi thek hai " Nandini whispered and on the lamp
"yes " she look at Manik who was sound a sleep next to her she was running her hand in his hair
" i need some clothes " she look away and asked
"help yourself ,if i will move he will get up " Nandini said ,she pointed at Almara , Mukti find their clothes piled together , Manik has turn clothes upside down as he was searching for his night dress "Manik had made mess " Nandini shyly said , Mukti taken out one ,Manik turn in sleep frees Nandini hand ,she jump out of bed ,hold Mukti arm
"can we talk ?" she asked her to come and sit next to the window
"yes sure" Mukti needed someone shoulder "Manik here ?" she was not getting words , he turns in sleep and search for Nandini ,she quickly sat on bed and hold his hand
" my Chachi find him sleeping out side last night , why he is here i didn't asked ? " she caress his forehead " please you too don't ask him Please"
"he sleeps like a baby " Mukti said she shakes her head
" yes " she covered him with blanket as it was windy out side
"you love him" Mukti asked
"not as much you love Abhi , but yes i love him " she couldn't take her eyes off him
" he is over possessive about you " Mukti said
" for all of us , he is right now worried for Abhi and you , he didn't talk to you as he had no courage" Nandini run her fingers in his hairs
" i came here to thank you" she said
" don't thank me , thank Him " she pointed at her Ayyappan " we both just found him and convince him to come here " Nandini said
"what you both gave me i can never repay you guys, but i pray from my heart you both always stay together" without looking back she went out
Nandini kissed Manik forehead " i pray same " switched off light and slide next to him
He suddenly woke up " why it is so dark in here ?" he screamed , Nandini at first didn't get what happened
"what happened ?" she search for him
"turn on the light " he said ,she tried to on the lamp but failed " there is no electricity " she said in sleepy voice
"where is candle ?" he asked
"shhh " she pull his arm " you come here " he laid back " why you woke up ?" she asked, he didnot remember " close your eyes i am here " she pat his cheek
"when it will come ?" he asked
" soon " she turn towards him and " when i am here why you are scared ?" she caress his face ,he was sweating
"i forgot " he said ,she removed the cover from fireflies bottle
"see there is light in here " she said
" i broke the gift you gave to me " he said sadly ,he recollected the lamp
" i will get another one for you " she smiled and place the bottle on his chest and kept her head on his shoulder "you know i have name them " she placed her chin on his chest and said "the most shinning is you , other is Navya , that one is Cabir , and that three stay away from me are Alyia , Mukti and Dhurv " she smiled
" so i am most shining " he look at her and asked
"yes " she pout and said , "check that you have become monster " she pointed at it as it stop shinning , he didnot replied ,she look at him he was staring at her "ab kya huwa " she placed the bottle away and placed her head on his chest " how you find happiness everywhere ?" he asked her
" i was young when my parents died , i belong to middle class family , i could not afford many things so i started finding happiness in small things " she said
" i have everything but " he paused
"shhh " she placed her finger on his lips , they heard laughter from out side.
"Manik is having headache Nandini made him sleep you will wake them "Mukti said
"how she know ?"Manik asked her
"she came here to get some clothes " Nandini said
"after days i have heard her laughter " Manik said as Mukti laughed again , Nandini pat him on chest "my mom never made me sleep, she never had time for me " he said Nandini stopped "don't stop,i really like when you do like this " he said
" ok now like my acha wala baby sleep " she lightly slap on his face ,he kissed her hand
" i am not dislike this darkness now as you are next to me " he said
"Manik sleep " she said in sleepy voice ,placed her hand on his eyes
Next morning there was continuous knock on the door both were fast as sleep
"Nandini ,Manki "Mukti called them from outside ,she knocked the door hard
" shit " Nandini quickly sat
"Manik " she moved his arm which he tightly warp around her waist
"no first " he pout ,she slap on his lips ,she tries to get up he pull her back ,she fall "give and go " he wrap both arm around her waist
"Chachi is not here , and you are taking advantage of it " she said he closed his eyes "Manik "
"give and go " he tighten his grip
" i will call Abhi and Mukti " she tries to free herself
" go head , i will say i want it " he opened his eyes and said " Mukti is calling you Nandini " he pout ,she quickly peck
"bus now leave me " she said "may be Abhi is not feeling well" she said
" he is fine as her voice is telling me , and what was that ? he asked
"that what you asked ?" she said and roll her eyes ,he grab her head
"Mani" she whispered as he pull her closed ,she tightly sealed her lips he winked ,she in shock look at him he sealed her lips with his ,their eyes met , she closed her eyes clutch his vest ,they broke as they were out of breath , she rested her head on his chest
"Nandini " Mukti knocked , Manik left her
"what is her problem ?" he irritatingly opened the door
"Abhi and I are getting married " she hug him
