So it took me freaking 40 minutes to read this thread. And a freaking wonderful 40 minutes. I will do my analysis in a bit, my legs are right not allowing my brain to function😆 But if you look at it, it seems at the heart of this show, the writers are looking at deconstructing each and every character.

Yesterday, Mukti, Harshad, Nandu and Shahid were kind of deconstructed.

Before that it was Cabir.

Today it was Manik and to an extent Dhruv

And going forward we are going to see the deconstruction of Alya.Dhruv, Harshad and Navya too

I am so damn excited, nothing makes me more excited than a show that makes me question. I don't want a dumbed down A=A version, I want a show where I can constantly question the motives of the characters, I want a show that is bold to dispel stereotypes, preconceived notion and convictions, especially mine. I get this in books all the time, I am loving it that I am getting it on Indian TV. Kudos MTV.

@red Manik has always been impulsive and takes decisions in a haste. That decision was one of those. He didn't give second thoughts about it coz he felt what he did was right. Her career actually wasn't on his mind then or even later.

Manik told dhruv after the punch tht when someone punches u hard it hurts...he actually hd never expected this from nandu and so his EGO was hurt...and his image took a beating in front of the college & FAB 5...so inorder to redeem himself he took this step with Nandu and also as u said maybe to protect her from other FAB 5 members...cos if I remember Mukti was pissed off when Manik told her to back off from Nandini...and maybe unconsciously since he was in AWE of her he might hv wanted to know her better / be close to her...

Also u guys forgetting tht nandini did no want to be in this college and only after shahid incident when she and navya were granted full scholarship tht she said yes...so i guess wrt her career she wud hv joined a science stream in another college...So maybe he might hv wanted her to leave for her own good...just my thoughts

Zoha, I always thought that it was because he thought Nandu brought those goons onto herself to blame Manik and cause a rift? And thats why he decide to expel Nandu? I'm just rememdering the convo he had with his mm in the office "there is no price for the friendship between me and dhruv"

At the spot thing, yeah that was actually his ego being dented, I agree.

agreed...he did it for a reason...he did for his friendship which means the world to him..his life actually revolves around Fab5 and Dhruv so the decision was a well thought one rather than just a hasty one

I just read Annie's post, questioned something about it, and it begun from there...I dont think any of us realized how good 15 pages just went by...

Thats what the show does to us, na. Curiosity, questions, understanding the characters, and having a full-fledged discussion...I didnt expect something like this on the 4th day of me joining this forum. You guys are all so awesome! Thank you for giving us this thread, Mais.

I really hope CVs or someone from the sets trolls this topic - its needs to be trolled 😆 So that the writers continue to build onto the story like they are doing right now, with no external forces coming in the way.. :)

Fab5 & all the other characters are going to be deconstructed one way or the other...only for them to re-build themselves because they are all going through something or the other, things that will shape their thinking, and allow them to grow. All of the members of Fab5 especially are basically venturing out - Manik with Nandani, Cabir with Raghav, Mukti with Harshad, and Navya, and Dhruv Alya are basically the only ones left, hence, they are bonding...Dhruv is actually opening up more, and who knows, through this process, Alya will also realize that the man she loves is finding love somwhere else, and she needs to probably move on...

CVs Take a Bow will ya & carry on... *Touch wood*

yep, i started watching frm last week , and i'am liking it so far. Need to catch up with 10 more epi's though to get clear idea about the show.. 😆

This is so nice as compared to the regular dramatic shows, enjoying so far..
