Oh Dhruv -- He is so intriguing! Ugh, it actually feels like an honor to see him behaving like a normal college student who knows who Megan Fox is -- can you blame me? I just wanna hug the hell outta him most of the time.

I actually started watching the show because of the awesome relationship between Manik and Dhruv. Like, both of them are star brothers or something, really.Whenever I see the stars hanging from their guitars, I think of Manik saying how he got Dhruv as a wish he had made to a shooting star.

Does it make sense if I say that Dhruv tries to be all detached because he is scared of himself and what he might do during his attacks.It must be so depressing to be fine one moment and black out in the other only to wake up to utter destruction around him and his buddy holding him.

He is just so intriguing, ugh. We might have seen so much of him but he have not really seen him, have we?

Nandu, you be bada** and adorable, go babydoll. It would be so hilarious if she actually remembers anything from this night. Manik Baba being tortured for a change, this is so amusing.😈 She threw the lime water -- that Baba made himself -- in his face like a boss.A true Mafia Boss. Ugh, i love her so much.🤣

But I'm left with so many questions now..

Was Manik making Nandu his 'personal' spot his way of protecting her? He knew that the rest of fab5 have poor impulse control and would've targeted her ruthlessly without regard for consequences.. Was this his way of mitigating the harm done to her? So that he made sure no lines were crossed?

But then what about when he threw her out of college? There was no safety net there.. he actually would've ruined her career..

Oh this web is getting more entangled by the minute

I honestly had written the "I know you guys will talk about it in a much better way." line as an off-hand comment because while typing this post, my thoughts were not clear and definitely on the level where you guys took the discussion. But you guys, you proved it. Talk you did and OH MY GOD. This has been an AMAZING read. I am sad now that I didn't get to be a part of this discussion.

Can I just say, I am proud to be a MaNan fan because I share this fandom with YOU guys?

@bold I doubt he did it for that reason...Manik was doing it to actually take revenge from her...she was the first one who had so bravely stood up against him..he was testing her patience.

@red Manik has always been impulsive and takes decisions in a haste. That decision was one of those. He didn't give second thoughts about it coz he felt what he did was right. Her career actually wasn't on his mind then or even later.

ro na madam...we too missed you...it was one life time discussion👏...I have been a part of several fandoms---TaaRey, ArShi, AR...but such discussions, meaningful and insightful...I have to say this it is coz of ppl like you and Suha and Dee and Bushy and Noorie and Shreya and Genie and Annie and all others including me that this fandom and forum rocks.😎

I think it was a combination of lot of factors. This was the first time someone stood against fab5 and that too infront of everyone . So by the logic fab5 would have retaliated extremely, Mukti was even trying to go after Nandu , yet I feel Manik stopped because he was genuinely impressed by Nandu and somewhere he wanted to handle her on his own. His curiosity piqued , he wanted to know this new "Hero" .
As far as spot is concerned, well she did break an expensive artifact what if Manik's mom dealt with her . So in a way there was saving too , or maybe , just maybe Manik saw his chance at being close to Nandu. He couldn't get her admiration but he settled for her hate. Whatever made her stick to him , was ok for him. I think that is why Dhruv-Nandu initial friendship bothered him, the whole bad guy mask was suffocating him whenever he saw Nandu.

I think fab5 barring Manik and Dhruv, genuinely mean no harm but they can easily go over-board ,Mukti lives in extremes and Alya made the goon mistake. So I feel Manik has an idea that his friends need that safety net and his boundaries or else it would be dangerous for everyone.

I think at that point , he was at his lowest. While he cared and probably respected her somewhere, Dhruv meant much more to him. And the fact that his buddy didn't trust him for a friendship which couldn't have been possible without him made Manik reckless. I am sure he might have regretted it later but since she was back in a day we never saw that part. Also I feel if she would have stayed for long, he himself would have got her back in the college.
