Genie - I'm just going to ditto-ing you. The moment I had seen the scorching chemistry between MaNan, I knew Dhruv was in a for a heartbreak. I hope the guy continues to remain a great friend for Manik & Nandu also. As for love, it's going to be MaNan...everything leads to them being together...

Oh I am not worried about Manan at all anymore, even if it takes time for Nandu to remember this night, she can never be with Dhruv, she would have to ask her fire flies and they will not light up. YES Chetu yes. I was excited for DhruNi scenes before but now, even more. We'll be analyzing all the connections to Manik in the DT, won't we?

The major point is that while Manik did indirectly gave Dhruv-Nandini a push, Nandini herself took the friendship forward. Dhruv is an extremely intriguing character and this revelation has put him on the spot too. His character just ended up with more layers than before. The conclusion on Dhruv's character from my side, is the notable indecisiveness. Dhruv didn't actually make any decision even before, rather was following Manik's instructions, hence when he actually rebelled against Manik for Nandini, Manik's shock is even more obvious.

Manik's tendency to coddle people like children has rendered Dhruv incapable of making a decision. The biggest plot point is how he will rebel against Fab-5 and Manik to be with Nandini. Dhruv's journey is from indecisiveness to revolution of sorts. This twist opened a major road for Dhruv as a character as well. Before it was two friends fighting, now it is a guy fighting his own personality.

SG, I ain't disregarding Dhruv, but yes, I am going to look at him in a different light. I am always going to be looking out for subtle signs of his real self. What is he like when there's no fab5 around? How does he work?
I am not saying Manik is all "the wow" guy just coz he had it all covered. That doesn't take away from all the bullying he had done. But we got to see another layer of him. The true savior.
Dhruv has a lot of layers and he has a lot to figure out, not just about his feelings for Nandu or vice Versa, but also his own personality. He needs to figure out his real self.

The base of everything Nandu shares with Dhruv is a pretend and has a big giant hole named Manik. He was the invisible force that orchestrated them . So that will be a huge issue for Nandu and will further solidify her pull towards Manik.

Nandu-Dhruv friendship is beautiful. He has started thinking about himself because of her and that is what his love is doing to him letting himself be. This is why I want Alya around him not because Dhruv should fall for her right now but to support him because even though he is learning to stand on his own, he will need her help to navigate.

I don't think Dhruv asked permission from Manik earlier. What puzzled and bothered Manik was that it was Dhruv's goodness which Nandu saw that made her go in awe of Dhruv and follow him and seek his friendship. Perhaps for the first time, he wanted her to seek him. For her , he didn't want to be the bad guy. Because Nandu compared him constantly against Dhruv's goodness. That made him despise their friendship.

In a way it's good Nandu was unaware of Manik's goodness. So instead of "awe" and starry eyed fondness , their bond has had a very organic equal growth. Rather it was Manik who in a way was in awe of Nandu's strength , that was the base of his fascination.

It is only when Dhruv went against Manik and punched him, he realized that Dhruv feels something different for Nandu. Because in that instant Dhruv chose to be the hero out of his own will and made Manik - the bad guy, even though he should have known better to take Manik's words for it.

The falsity of the friendship and the initial awe Nandu had for Dhruv , scares Manik. Hence his unease and disapproval now. Because the comparison would always come . The good will win over the bad guy. And he doesn't want Nandu to think about him in this way. He is scared to loose her because of his mask.
