Shouldn't they shoot entirely in Delhi to give the show an authentic look? I think Cinevistaa should even take the cast of the show from Delhi only. They will make the characters more real. Some insider from the show told me that after Aamir Ali, they are planning to cast Actor-Astrologer, Navin Bajaj, in a key role in this show too. Navin is handsome and very classy so he will add more value to the show. And he is the same guy who has predicted the Winners of Bigg Boss show in almost every season of BB till now. He is Delhi based so I think it makes sense to cast him in this show.

Waseem Mushtaq and Simple Kaul in Cinevistaas' next on &TV

The new GEC, &TV that hit TV screens last night has a great list of entertaining shows lined up for its viewers. Soon Cinevistaas will also launch its new show based on newsroom drama with Sukirti Kandpal and Aamir Ali as the leads.
Now other actors have also been roped for the serial. First is Waseem Mushtaq, who has been part of shows like 12/24 Karol Bagh, Amrit Manthan and Aur Pyar Ho Gaya.
Shares a source, "Waseem will be seen as Sukirti's colleague who will fall in love with her. Post that a love triangle will also develop between him, Sukirti and Aamir. The interesting character will have different shades."
As viewers would know the show is an adaptation of the novel Those Pricey Thakur Girls. Supriya Pilgaonkar and Anang Desai will be seen playing the progressive parents to five daughters. Apart from Sukirti, Sara Khan (Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein) and Shilpa Raizada will play the daughters along with other newcomers.
We spoke to Waseem who shared, "Yes, I am doing the show but I cannot divulge any other detail."
Furthermore, Simple Kaul (Taraak Mehta, Suvreen Guggal and Jeannie Aur Juju) has also been signed for a cameo in the show, which might have the same title like the novel. She will play a hot journalist who will have a comic angle to her personality. The actress is currently shooting in Delhi with the cast.
Simple while confirming this news said, "Being a Delhite, it feels great shooting in your hometown."
Those Pricey Thakur Girls will launch sometime this month.

I have read the novel too n I know it s Delhi based. It was just Sukirti didnt update her Instagram for more than week n it turned out she was very busy shooting in Delhi.

And I dont think this guy would be Chandralekha's husband coz he was an "Estonian" so may be Anjini or Binodini as he looks like a typical Indian😛or may be some other role at the newspaper office where Aamir's character Dylan worked or in Channel where Sukirti's character Debjani worked.

I'm excited for this show! Sensible upper class rom-coms are rare on Indian TV channels which are full of middle class and village based shows. Finally we have an Urban show on this new channel &TV!

I would love to see Navin Bajaj in this show! This guy is really hard to get coz he is so choosy about his assignments. Cinevistaa must try an cast him in some nice continuity role. I have read the novel and it is true that Chandralekha runs away with a foreigner just before her wedding, but I am not sure if the show makers are following the novel page by page. If they were following the novel, then Chandralekha was hardly ever there. She was always the absentee daughter. So it is possible that they might drift away from the novel and change the story a little bit.

I would love to see Navin Bajaj as one of the sisters' husband or as Dabbu's or Dylan's boss. He deserves a strong role in the show. All the best to him. 👍🏼

Oh wow! It will be great to see Navin Bajaj in this new show. Kudos to Cinevistaa for adding Navin to the cast. Big thumbs up 👍🏼
