In Hospital, Evereyone was there from Jha and Chaudhary family. Manjiri was being treated. Yug was silent seating on chair still in state of shock how things had turned sour. It was his Kali's birthday and he didnt know things will U turn.
Police arrived there and informed Vishwa that they are searching for Kali. Due to rain, its getting bit difficult for them
but they are sure soon they will have some clue. Inspector asked if anyone knows how does this happened?
Bijli came forward and told her story that Kali and she were driving from temple to home. But Kali lost control over
her car due to break failure. She managed to jump in nick time. But as Kali was on driving seat she could not save her.
"Shut up!" Yug shouted. "Stop telling your fake stories. I know who is behind all this." Yug grabbed Gauri's hand tightly
and asked police to arrest her as she is behind all this. Gauri protested this time. "You can not use me like football Yug.
That you will come and blame me anytime. Everyone here knows where I was and with whom. And still if you want proof ask your own Daadi if I was at hospital with her when this incident happened" Gauri clarified herself. Now ball was in Leela's court. Yug rushed to Leela quickly "Please Daadi tell the truth. Tell everyone that she was not with you. I will make sure she get punishment for all her deeds. Please Daadi, please" Yug said in pleading tone. His eyes were looking at Leela with great hope to hear truth. Leela was standing there with mix of emotions. "Gauri was with me at hospital" Leela said and Yug's all hopes were crashed. He lost last hope to get Gauri punished for what she did with Kali. Inspector told Yug they cannot arrest anyone without any proof.
First they need to find car and Kali both then only there will be some light on this case.
Doctor came outside treating Manjiri. Vishwa rushed and asked how she is. "There is bad news Mr. Jha. Due to sudden shock; portion of brain which sends signal to her body has affected. Your wife has lost her senses. She will be merely there as live dead body. We will see what best can be done medically. But we dont want to give you false hopes" Another bad news stroked.
Yug returned to home with heavy heart along with other family members. His eyes fell on Ramji's idols at temple and that was his only hope right now. He bent down on knees and joined his hands in front of Ramji "Please Ramji, bring my Kali back! Bring her back!" All he could do is cry still trying to keep his hope alive.
In Gauri's room, she was all happy. She blew the candle and cut down the cake celebrating her victory and birthday today.
Yug could not sleep all night. His swollen eyes were speaking volume. Next morning, police arrived and Yug rushed to them.
"Mr. Yug we have found one car after search. Its number is matching with no. you have given to us. Your maid was right, its accident case. After primary inspection we found that car's break was failed.".. Yug was least interested in other information. "What about Kali?" Yug asked. "We have found one dead body.".. Yug's mind was blank after hearing it. "As it was lying in jungle for some time face and other parts are damaged. We have brought belongings we found on body. You can identify them and tell if its your wife" Inspector continued and took out belongings from packet. Everyone was upset looking at it because saree and mangalsutra belonged to Kali. Yug silently hold them in hand. Everyone expected him to cry , to shout in disbelief that she is not his Kali. But he didn't. He quietly hold them. He moved his hands on saree and remembered her smiling face. He hold her mangalsutra in hand and remembered moment he made her wear it. "Mr. Yug whether these belongs to your wife?" Inspector asked.
But Yug didn't reply. He still held those stuffs in his hand and kept walking towards his room with deep silence. Raghu asked inspector not to bother him much. All of them were equally disheartened to see Yug silently walking on stairs. His state right now was like volcano which will burst anytime.
Everyone kept looking at silent Yug till the time he entered his bedroom and shut the door. Finally he broke his silence by crying out loudly; breaking down on floor and hugging her last memories.
One month later,
Gauri was pacing in her room worried. "Its been month since everything is done. But nothing moving. No one is still discussing about Yug and her marriage yet" She had reason to worry because its been 5 months since she was faking her pregnancy. But now she was in situation where she would be
caught easily. She had to face questions if her baby bump doesn't show up. With chulbuli chachi and Daadi at home she will be easily caught. "I can get rid of this fake pregnancy once I am married to Yug." She realized she need to get hold of Leela Chaudhary again in order to turn situation
in her favour.
She got into Leela's room. "I think you have forgotten your promise Daadi ji. You promised me to get married with Yug but seems like you are not interested in it any more. Don't you want to see your great grandchildren playing with you? Remember if you don't get me married to Yug i will kill this child" Gauri said. "Stop this! For god sake stop this!" Leela shouted. "How much low you will stoop? Cant you see how it is going in home? Have you ever seen a single day where
Yug has come home without drinking? Daily he leaves before sun rises and comes back home after everyone is asleep that too loosing his all senses. He is not even in talking terms with me. And you are expecting me to talk about his and your marriage?" Leela's voice choked up explaining how situation
had turned worst after Kali left them. "I know I have promised you. And so far I have done what you have asked me to do for sake of this child. I will do same going forward as well. Dont worry I know who can sort out these things" Daadi assured Gauri.
Leela was discussing with Raghu about arrangement for tomorrow's pooja. Everyone was there doing preparation for it. "Maa do you think Yug will attend pooja tomorrow". Raghu asked. Leela was unsure herself but still assured Raghu that he will. Just then Yug's car horn was blown loudly and he was there. Everyone was waiting for him and without breaking any expectation he arrived in same drunken state today. Completely out of his control he was falling everywhere. Raghu rushed and hold him before Yug could fall on floor. Yug looked at Raghu trying to open his eyes. "Dad.. you! Dont worry I am fine. I am absolutely fine." Yug said in drunken state. "Why are you doing this Yug? Don't you understand? Its killing you!" Raghu said in worried tone.Yug started laughing sarcastically. Everyone just looked at him worriedly. "Who wants stay alive here dad? I want to die. I want to kill myself but slowly, slowly, slowly... you know why??? Because i killed her in same way... she held my hand.. i saw all hopes in her eyes that i will save her.. but i couldnt.. i couldnt..." Yug started crying ... For everyone it was heartwrenching...Yug tried to compose himself... "You know dad, I have seen her dying in front of my eyes.. i have seen her slowly going towards death.. i could have stopped it dad but i failed.. i failed... But this time i wont... i wont...i will make sure i will not spare myself...i will kill myself same way..." Yug started loosing his senses due to consumption of alcohol. Everyone just kept watching him breaking down in such way and felt bad. Raghu somehow managed to carry him till his room. He made Yug sleep on his bed. Yug was still mummering Kali's name. Raghu felt literally bad seeing Yug in such state. He prayed to ramji idol present in Yug room "Please god have mercy on us.. Please do some magic and send someone who can correct all this mess"
