Character Assessment

Padma: She cares for what others think about her family. Very weak character. She doesn't take a stand in such situations.

Kabir: I sometimes feel he doesn't fit into the character. His acting doesn't convince me at all. Though he is a good actor, his acting in Jyoti is superficial. I think there is some mystery around Kabir.

This track is getting interesting.

Sushma: Her character has grown up from a stupid teenager. She's becoming bold and responsible each day.

Poonam: Very childish. she'l ruin the family bonding. She doesn't understand her husband and doubts her sister-in-laws. This way her marriage won't survive for long.

I don't understand if Pankaj is married why can't Jyoti look forward in her life? Why she should care for society? Why can't she think of remarrying? In one episode all the family members supported her modern ideas and now they are talking in old, stereotypical way.

I am just so disgusted with the entire Sharma family right now. From Padma, well there's not much you can expect from her in the first place. But since KK just loves handing out lectures randomly, you'd think he'd say something while Padma was staring Kabir down or while she was screaming at Jyoti. And Sushma, Deepu, or Dadi? As usual neither of them have any input at all despite the fact that they were enjoying his company until Padma made a spectacle of it. They really know nothing about gratitude for the guy who was there for them when times were hard.

well this family should really learn to behave wid people..padma till date has behaved well only wid brij when he got married to sushma..otherwise every guy she meets,she has only one thing to say, namely 'mujhe woh ladka pasand nahi hai..jyoti/sudha usse door rehna'...it was hilarious earlier,now its just repetitive and boring..dadi cnt decide if she is old fashioned or 'murdern'..and deepu really shud get a life, and not go abt talking abt how he is a man..i agree wid vrisha,he has done nothing till date except first fleece money frm jyoti when he was unemployed and then go crying to jyoti to help wid family probs..and high time he taught his wife sum manners as well...poonam's character going thru a assassination nowadays..the way she had been behaving the last couple wks one wud expect her to support jyoti,going by the assumption she was a practical and open minded female... and not act like a maachis ki teeli to padma and dadi..

THis serial started out interesting and has quickly become illogical and routine. Choti ma started out as someone not very convinced about Jyoti but willing to accept her nephew's choice for his sake, to a scheming evil cow out for revenge for its sake. Padma is always like a cat on the wall- never very strong in any one idea....except disliking Jyoi. Deepu is again a contradictory character, and the less said about his wife the better. SUshma is the only one who has shown some improvement. Creatives.....pls dont make this another Ekta Kapoor thingy where everyone marries twice and divorces thrice.

Promo for tonight

Jyoti, Kabir & the students are outside a theater, and one of the girls tells Jyoti that she wants to see a certain movie so that she can make out the dance steps. Jyoti agrees. Later, Padma discovers a movie ticket stub on Jyoti's clothes, and thinks that Jyoti has been lying by saying that she's off to work when she's actually out to the movies.

I really wish today they'd start showing Pankaj & Neelam, as well as more of Brij & Bhairavi. Now, Brij & Bhairavi might take some more time, since he's just been paid, unless he blows everything on a new wine celler 😉😆 But I'd like to see more of Pankaj & Neelam, particularly their attempting to get cozy w/ each other, and not succeeding. Also, if Neelam is pregnant, I'd like them to start hinting @ it a tad more explicitly. 😉😛😆
