Like really. What planet are you from? How can you write like this? From where you imagine all of these? I would like to ask the same thing to Lashy Dii as well .. given I just finished re readin HBAS for the nth time

I swear if this was a show.. I’d binge it in one night.. then rewatch it with a notebook just to annotate every Jalal line. smiley36

You have this terrifying ability to make a reader feel things they didnt sign up for smiley36 I come in for some romance and slowburn chemistry and suddenly I’m 30 minutes deep in economic analysis, industrial land acquisition, emotional trauma, and existential questions about ambition and love. Like??? Mam.. I was just trying to relax.. why am I now questioning my life choices? smiley37

You weave Jalal past mahakatha, business, romance, pain, AND humour… into one coherent addictive story smiley42There’s never a throwaway line haan .. beautifully written and placed

I'm so invested here I tell ya .. Not ony here but in HBAS and NJAPA too coz I cry my heart out when there's there break up scene in NJAPA or Khan Sahib and Heera prison scene ...I keep forgetting these are fictional people. I’m reacting to them like they’re my own friends (or crushes. hello Jalal 😩)

Logging off now before I turn this into a thesis smiley42smiley37

edited - Also, what's with your grammar? I had to exit IF page and go to google to search the meanings - atleast 15 times smiley18

Very well said....💯

These are my exact thoughts- every single line.!!

And the pain of hitting google exiting the emotional bubble .....uffff....I know ryt..!

OMG what was this ? Now I'm the one feeling ungrateful for not taking out time last night and sitting and properly putting my thouts into words. Sachi sachi bolna aap ye sab thoughts laate kaha se ho ? Tantrik ho ? Maya jadu aata hai apko ?

How do you manage to captivate us so so much that everything fades away for those few moments?

You wouldn't believe and I've said it so many times ki now it'll feel sappy but when i say PBD is the solution for so many of my problems, IT REALLY IS.

I seriously don't understand!! Do you read minds ? Par vo bhi karne ke liye you need to be here right?

Chalo chodo jo bhi ho.. ab lets drive into the story.(drive hi hai mene koi spelling error nahi kiya.. itni acchi story hai bhai usme kudenge kyun? Iss se accha ek long drive lete hai aur story enjoy karte hai )

Did uncle and aunty reject me?” She asked, squinting her eyes. “Are we eloping? Is that why we are driving out of the city?”

No one but Jo can bring up such questions instead of enjoying the view 😜

She does have the ability of to make even a frustrated irritated person laugh so heartily. My first heart felt full blown chuckle of the day.

I owe you Di I seriously do. Thankyou ❤️

“I know how to persuade them. And don’t worry about yours either. They’re very sensible people. I’m sure they’ll listen to reason.”

Such unrestrained trust in her parents. In the world where people judge their parents so fast here is our girl believing in them with such ferocity. This shows the upbringing and sense of security she received from them.

And oh my god "the karnaame of Badshaah Jalal Ahmed of Jallad-dom"

They were truly and madly hilarious 😂 😂

One moment I'm laughing and then the next moment I'm like no this is not happening!! But oh yes it did happen and the first thought that came was "unko pata tha hum sab beach sochenge so she thought lets twist it into something more meaningful and valuable"

The little nok jhoks between them have full heart.

They are always the best parts of your updates.

And the clipped J has its own different charm.

Its beautiful ❤️

Its awesome

Every thing is to the point and yet so magical.

Hats off to you di.

This is only the first part of my comments. Abhi I've to write more and that i will do tomorrow.

But for now don't think I didn't notice ,

You literally brought the Geeta down in the story. Khup khup aabhar. 🙏

Signing off

A very sleepy and ready to dive into dreams of Mr J,

Manu ❤️

“Abdul had Sara, Chetan had Smitha, and I had this.”

OUCH! So much obsession .. Not only to Jo, but it's news to me as well .. Even we didn't knew or guessed this side of Jalal

>> This line is a meant as a juxtaposition for when he tells Abdul after the site accident...

"Do you suggest the same if it was Sara?" the vexed man calmly asked. Abdul smirked!! Somehow, the reciprocation wasn't a surprise.

"You mean to say..." He coldly jabbed raising a brow. "What Sara is to me is what JODHA is to YOU?" Amazed by the latest development, Prithvi looked on curiously.

>>Hopefully now you all will see why Abdul pointedly asked that question. They all knew what Four wheels had been to Jalal... and the friends were glad to see it changing..

Also... when Jalal mentioned that his head and heart have shifted places in the past year he wasn't saying simply to convince Jodha... he was repeating the truth that had formalized in his mind, much before this night of confession

Ofcourse I remember this scene .. but that it will relate to this I wasn't aware .. didn't even click to me smiley12smiley36

Thanks for telling.. next time you post such scenes which relate to past scenes then do give us a heads up smiley37

Oh jannu di

What a roller coaster of emotions

Jalal is soooooooo awesome

You have really ruined my expectations smiley37

He never leaves his girl hanging with the thought of why he is doing what he is doing

Such a sweetheart

I love how he opened up to her.. showing her all the parts of his life and accepting all of their differences and shortcomings

Such a blissful partner

I wish I get someone who loves me like that smiley42

It's such a wonder on how small efforts create such promising friendships and relationships in our life smiley28

Also.. Goa incident is on

Omg

You managed to slip it back in the present timeline

Hehehesmiley36

Jo's antics are so cute.. its so amazing how fearless love can make a person

Sneaking out.. romancing right under the nose of her parents

Hehehehe

And the killer is revealed with all his petty motivation

Sorry I didn't comment on the last part.. so adding it same in here

Really really enjoyed all the craziness

Please please do keep updating like this smiley31

>>All good for now Nushkie... how about you? You're always prompt with feedback... so no explanations requiredsmiley31

Read after silencing the world !!

>> Best way to readsmiley16

I don’t even know where to begin Dii... What was this?! Some scenes you read, some scenes you inhabit .. True in my case .. felt like I was there, in that car .. sitting behind Jalal and Jodha, overhearing their 3 a.m. heart-to-hearts, getting goosebumps, hiding my face, grinning like a fool smiley42

>> its not 3am yet... just about 11:30pm-ish.. arre khul ke haso... kaun rok raha hai?smiley36

“Did uncle and aunty reject me?” She asked… “Are we eloping?”

Jodha’s sass is so on-brand. “are we eloping?” line??? I wheezed smiley36 Girl, you're in a luxury car with such a handsome hunk enjoy the ride .. This is why I adore her !!!

Okay can't quote each line but know that I loved each and every word of their banter .. and ofcourse that moon-cloud wala scene too !! Cute and well thought smiley32

>> jealous cloud is my fav too... and of course Jodha has to sass... aakhir banda kept the poor girl in suspense for so longsmiley6

“Don’t be duped by the cheeky, unassuming fellow…”

Sir Chetan Kamath, the Mining Syndicate Prince?! HELLO PLOT TWIST smiley3 I was not ready for this Hyderabad meets Bellary industrial alliance. I love how you explained everything here. The land acquisitions, port logistics, environment clearances ... Can’t believe I was shipping these boys like campus cuties when they’re actually moguls in disguise smiley37

>> Lol... industrial alliance. That's a good one!

Glad the little background added to your reading experience... ship them all you want to... moguls can be campus cuties too smiley36

“Abdul had Sara, Chetan had Smitha, and I had this.”

OUCH! So much obsession .. Not only to Jo, but it's news to me as well .. Even we didn't knew or guessed this side of Jalal

And I justttt LOVED how

You didn't hold back there, Dii

You didn’t paint him a victim.

You didn’t villainize Aliya.

You simply showed two people who got it all wrong and paid in silence.

>> yes.. that's why he insisted on ending the relationship. No point in dragging something they got it all wrong

“My conscience knew I was also my child’s murderer.”

I had to stop reading there. Take a walk. And come back. Too many confessions and insights altogether don't you think.

>> Was it too much?smiley13 I thought he had to be candid to one person that mattered.

The Shekhar chacha and Prudhvi story? Are you kidding me?!
That was GOLD. That was the full-circle moment I didn’t see coming okayyy!!

>> Since I never mentioned how all these four came together, I thought this would be the perfect juncture for him to share all that... glad you liked it... most people find these unnecessary but I couldn't resist adding. To me a man is not just himself or what his future aspirations are - his parents, his friends, his choices, his upbringing - there is a lot to an individual that his past says.

From sneaking biryani to a garage boy to building an empire with him.
From toy cars to Toyotas.
From ‘league’ being about class to ‘league’ being about character smiley10

And that dialogue from Usman?

“League is defined by a person’s character, Shekhar bhai…”

UFFF! That’s how you write wisdom. That's how you embed values into narrative without sounding preachy. Isiliye we say, it is not just love story it is something from which we learn a lot .. I understand now what Manu Dii says is totally apt !!

>> To each their own.. yad bhaavam tad bhavati! but knowing that this is more than a story for you all, makes me resolved to give it, its deserved ending. Thank yousmiley31

Also… Jalal studying her, remembering snowfall, naming her Snow bird, reading her thoughts before she voiced them?! SUPER ADORABLE AND CUTE!!!

That Mahabharatha example was such a literary masterstroke smiley32 The metaphor! The humility! The realization!

>> Another irresistible additionsmiley36

“This is my moment of awakening! And suffice to say that it is both humbling and daunting.”

Moment of awakening for me too because I never thought this way... And Jalal, crushing her cheeks into a pout while feeding her kisses in between a very serious life-altering discussion?! smiley36 I was grinning throughout smiley43

>> Feeding her kisses... such a beautiful way of saying it. smiley27 you've knack for words, girl!smiley39

Also, this - “Your Badepapa had been there… seen everything.”

Needed. So many men would hide this. But Jalal? He brings out every piece of history, even if it incriminates him.

“…they all can go and f*ck themselves for all I care as long as you… zip up all that – I don’t deserve you, I’m out of your league sht and take me, woman. The question is… will you?”

This is my favourite partttt for real! smiley42 I meannnn just WOWWWW .. "toe-curling" like you say ... ahem ahem smiley43smiley43

>> Yep... vulnerability can remain only so long in confident people... so by the end of it his cocky self is backsmiley36

Loved Saradhi's self talk too ... How you tied their history, their bond with Raghu-Vasu, the gentle ache, the hope, the future grandchildren...it’s all too much. I don’t know what hurts more... the quiet grief or the quiet resilience

>> another powerful word play from you smiley32

“Soon… he’ll have a son-in-law and grandchildren to love and cherish.”

Umm not my thoughts .. I was reading a book and I remember a line from it for this line above .. quoting it here .. this is what healing looks like. Not forgetting the ones we lost. But including them in the future we build.

>> whoever it is... it was wisely said!

If I had a heart-shaped stamp, I’d seal this entire scene with it.

>> oh... your review is just that - heart shaped stamp over the entire chapter, not just one scene!smiley41

Soul-telling from Jalal I'll call it .. And I LOVE how responsible this makes him feel. Not just a lover, but a man who wants her prepped for what she’s stepping into.

Every line is dipped in emotional precision and depth...yet sprinkled with your trademark humor smiley36Jalal’s cheekiness, Jodha’s comic timing, the Sainik School biryani bribery… you gave it all smiley31

I'm done reading all those sh*t books now .. was fed up of them tbh .. you showed me what literary romance looks like. What grown-up.. thoughtful.. emotionally intelligent.. love feels likesmiley42

And with that, I’m just sitting here… absorbing all of it, head spinning, thnking what happens next. Jalal Ahmed, you’ve left me speechless

Now your part 2 is as big as a PBD chapter. Which tells us, you CAN write fast and quick ... 1 Month is your final deadline for Chapter 45 or 44 Part 3 smiley14

Enjoyed reading this smiley27

Take a bow, author sahiba. I’m off to lie down and overthink every word you wrote. Until next time… smiley31smiley27

Take a salute for your time and your love that I can never repay... it almost feels like Krishna and the vraj-vasis! He feels so indebted taking all that love that He couldn't see them in the eye and leaves to Mathura! Same with me... what can I do to payback? Except writing the next one soon!smiley31
