Chapter 10

Mahamanga was paceing up and down in her room. Jalal had never behaved like this with her “What was wrong ? What did he find out.? She just couldn’t stop thinking. Something told her things were about to change. She had seen them in each others arms yesterday night. She was failing in her plan for revenge. What would she do.?

The next day Jalal told Atgah sahab to summon Mahamanga to the Deewan e khaas He had important announcement to make. “Ji Huzur ho jayega.” It was early morning he had just woken up and was enjoying the early morning sun while discussing these important matters with Atgha sahab. After Atgah sahab left his thought went to his badi Ammi. Why ...why had she lied? He had given her so much of love and respect. Why did she want to steal the only person who had brought happiness into his life at last? With these thoughts came along Jodha’s thought. He just couldn’t stop himself from the thought of her in his arms yesterday. He got up and his feet carried him automatically to her hozra. He asked the gaurds not to announce. He went in and saw that she was not in her room. But could hear some sound coming from the hamam. As he went near the entrance of the hamam what he saw stopped him in his track there she was standing in the water of the hamam looking like a water nymph. He signaled the maids to leave. Jodha came out of the water and went to where her towels were kept, stood wiping her hair. She wore a sarong which coverd her till her br***t. The wet sarong stuck to her body like a second skin accentuating her curves. Jalal’s feet carried him to her on his own accord. He touched her shoulder and moved his hands slowly down her hand. She was startled. “huh , Shahenshah aap yeha.” She blushed and closed her eyes. “yeh kya kar rahen hai aap.” Jalal did not answer he kissed the bare skin on her shoulder. She escaped and turned to look at him, what she saw made her blush, his eyes were dark with raw desire. She stepped back, he came closer not loosing eye contact, in the end Jodha was trapped between the wall and him. She was breathing fast, “ H...humein jane dijiye Shahenshah.” She said. He muzzled his nose on her cheek “ Aap nahi jaanti aaka husn is waqt Qyamat dha rahi hai. Aap to khuda ko bhi Behek ne par majbur kar de, hum to phirbhi insaan hai.” He said kissing her bare shoulder “Shahenshah.....” Jodha said breathing hard. Jalal took her hand and showed her what she was doing to him. “ Aab aapse ek pal ki duri humein barkhast nahi hogi. Hum pagal hojayenge aapke bina” he said looking into her eyes.” He said as he kissed her on the nape of her neck. Jodha moaned “ Humari sthithi bhi apjaisi hai.” Jalal looked into her eyes and found them reflecting the same dark desire . Jalal captured her soft lips in his and kissed her like there was no tomorrow. He sucked on her upper lips then he deepened the kiss. He had no control anymore. He pushed his tongue into her mouth to deepen the kiss. He pulled her to him by capturing her waist in his hands. A moan escaped from Jodha. He touched her br***t from above her sarong . Jodha felt like electricity pass through her. They parted to breathe. They were both breathless. He touched his forehead to hers. “ Bas raat tak ka intezaar Sahanshah fir hum aapke hojayenge.” Jodha said breathing hard. “ Kaise karenge raat tak ka intezaar .... nahi hota. Aap is tarha is husn ke jaam ko chalkaegi to hum to hosh kho hi baithenge na.” He said capturing her lips again. Jodha tried her best to control her self but couldn’t she started losing her senses too. They deepened the kiss. “Jodha.... hum aapke deewane ho chuke hai... aab ek pal bhi aapke bina kaatna mushkil hai.” He said kissing her cleavage which was visible above her sarong. Suddenly they heard someone outside. “ Sahenshah ka iqbaal buland ho. Sab aapka Deewan e khaas mein intezaar kar rahe hai.” Jalal let out a frustrated sigh. He touched his forehead to hers again. “Hum aate hai tum jao.” “ Bas aaj raat tak Shahenshah. Aaj Humein ek hone se koi nahi rok payega.” She said “hmmm.... aap taiyar hoke Deewan e khaas mein Aiye.” He said gave her a peak on her cheek and left.

Jodha’s Pov

Jodha hid her face in her palm. Her breath was still coming fast. Her senses were in a mess. Moti came in and found her in this state. She moved Jodha’s hand from her face and found her blushing. She smiled at her friend mischievously and said “ aab aiysa kya hua ki aap itna laja rahi hai. Hmmmm. Bataiye bataiye ....” “ chal hat nirlaj. Jab tera vivah ho ga to khud pata chal jayega. Aab humein jaldi se taiyar kar.”

Jalal came and sat on his throne. He asked Atgah sahab to start the proceeding of the court. Mahamanga was called in front of him. “ Mahamanga par Aarop hai ke unhone Shahenshah ko gumrah karne ki kosis ki.” Adgah Shahab announced “ Nahi Shahenshah yeh zoot hai.” She said. “ Aapko yaad hai.woh khat jo Jodha begum ne bheja tha.” Jalal asked “ Jis me aap ke hissab se unhone apne mohabbat ka izhar kiya tha.” He said “ hi Sahanshah.” Answered Mahamanga. He takes the letter lying on the tray next to him and hands it over to Maham. “ Firse Padiye zara.” He said giving her an angry look. “ F...Firse kiyun. Ek baar t....to path chuke hai.” She stammered “ PADHIYE.” Jalal shouted angrily. She stammered and read the letter in the same words as she had read last time. Jalal snatched the letter from her and handed it over to Adgah sahab “ Padhiye zara Adgah sahab.” Jalal said. Adgah Sahab read what was actually written. Jalal kept looking at her with disgust. He took the letter from Adgah sahab and handed it over to Maan Singh. “ Maan Singh parbo ise.” He said, he read the same as Adgah sahab. “ Aab kahiye Mahamanga kya kehna hai aapko.” He asked in a quite voice which was full of menace . “ Aap ne Jaan bujh kar jhooth bola. Taai humare aur Jodha begum ke beech khalish paida ho. Aap to humein beta maanti thi na phir apne beteko itna bada choto kaise. Aapke Walsh se humne Jodha begum ki itni beizzati ki. Unki jaan par ban aayi.” He pinched the bridge of his nose and then he looked up with fire in his eyes “ kiyun kiya aapne Aaisa.” He asked again “ Haan kiya humne aaiysa. Kiyunki aapke liye aab humari ahmiyat kaam ho gayi. aajkal aap sirf Jodha begum ko tawajju dene lage hai. Humne jo ruthba itne saalon me kamaya hai woh ek Rajvanshi ke liye hum nahi kho sakte hai.woh hoti kaun hai aap ko humare bete ke bare mein shikayat karne wali.” She said voice full of bitterness. Everyone was shocked to hear the bitterness. “ Aapne humare bete ko saza dene se pehle ek baar bhi nahi socha. Humne us ke hisse ka doodh aapko pilaya hai. Aap bhul gaye. Uska badly maybe humein kya diya, badu Ammijaan ka auhda bas aur waizire aliya ka auhda humne khud kamaya.” She said.

Jodha’s POV

She was shocked to hear what Mahamanga was saying. She looked at Jalal he had tears in his eyes. She wanted to run and comfort him but couldn’t.

Jalal’s POV

He couldn’t believe his ears. He felt shattered. “ Aaj aapne saabit kar diya ki aap Maa nahi hai aap sirf ek daayi hai. Humari galti hai jo humne aapko apni maa samjho ki bhul ki. Aap maa to bangayi par maa ka pyar aap me nahi la payi.” He said. “ Aaj se hum aapse shaare rishta torte hai. Aap se wazir e aliya ka auhda bhi Chin liya jata hai.” He announced Mahamanga fell on her knees. “ Inhe humare nazren ke saamne se le jaiye.” Darbaar barkhast.” He announced

Chapter 11

Everyone left the court but Jalal kept sitting on the throne. He felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up and saw Jodha. He looked at her with tears in his eyes. Jodha hugged him tight. Jalal hid his face in her and started to cry.” Kiuyn , Jodha mere sath hi humesa kiyun ayesa hota hai. Hum jin par yakeen karten hai wahi humein dhoka dete hai. Pehle the Khan baba unhone humse bagawat ki phir badi Ammi. Har kisi ko Sahanshah ki Takat ka isstemal karna hai. Humari sabse achi dost bhi aapne rutbe ko jyada tawwazu deti hai. Hum bilkul akele hai.” He said. “ Aap bilkul akele nahi hai. Hum hai na aapke sath. Humein koi pad koi Takat kuch nahi chahiye. Humein sirf aapki fikr hai. Aur phir Ammijaan hai aapke sath. Aap ne humesha galat insaan ko apne Ammi se jyada pyar diya. Maa maa hoti hai.” She said Jalal looked at her “ Aap jaiye apne Ammi ke paas aapko shanti milege.” She said.

I sat in my chamber and thought how right Jodha was. He had never understood his mother always considered Mahamanga his mother, and she had taken undue advantage of this by driving Jalal’s mind against his mother. He got up and went to his mother’s chamber. He was announced and he went in as soon as he went in he put his head on his mother’s lap and cried like a baby. His mother caressed his head no words were required between them. “ Ab bas bhul jao.Aur Jodha ke sath apne haseen kal ko jiye.” She said. Jalal looked at her surprised. She smiled “ Hum Ammi hai aapke humein aap dono ke chere se pata chal jata hai AAP ek dusri sse kitni mohabbat karte hai. Hum bahut khush hai aapke liye.” Jalal gave a shy smile Hamida kissed his fore head. He greeted his mother and left.

Jodha’s POV

Jodha knew how to cheer Jalal. She called Moti “ Moti aaj humein ayese taiyar karo ke Shahenshah sab bhuljaye. Aur iss kaksh ko khubsurati se sajao.” Moti smiled. Jodha got up and went to the hamam to wash her self. The baandis added rose and jasmine fragrant oil to the water of the hamam. They added more flower petals to the water. Sandal wood fumes were also lit in the hamam. Jodha opened her clothes and wore the sarong. Then sat on the marble edge of the tub and the bandhis applied ubtan to her body. Jodha was lost in the thought of the time spent in her Sahenshah’s arms. She felt her women hood heat up she blushed. After her ubtan had dried up she got into the water. The baandis washed her. Then she got out and they dried her then she put on her new lehenga which she had gotten made for special occasion. It was bottle green in colour. Had mirror all over it including the blouse. The blouse had small sleeves and was backless with just doris in the back. Her dupatta was of tissue and sheer with a heavy mirror border. She came out of the hozra and sat in front of her huge mirror. Moti brought in the sandalwood fumes and started to dry up her hair. She wore an emerald choker and earings and maang teeka with emerald studded bangles in her hand. Her eyes were highlighted with khol and her lips were painted pink. She looked like a perfect seductress today.

She told Moti to take the message to Shahenshah that she had requested him to grace her chamber at night after dinner.

Jodha’s POV ends

Jalal’s POV

Jalal was resting with a drink when a gaurd came and announced that Motibai had requested permission for a meeting. “ Bhejo unhe.” He said. Moti came in “ Pranam Shahenshah, Jodha begum chahti hai ke aap aaj unke kaksh mein padhare” she said. “ Thik hai rum jao.” Said Jalal knew what was about to happen. He smiled to himself.

It was time to go to Jodha’s room he arrived and was announced in. When he came in he was mesmerised. Candles and diya lit up the whole place to create the most romantic atmosphere. He looked arround and saw Jodha approaching him. He stood speechless. She looked ravishing in the mirror work green lehenga. Her blouse was low cut and backless. Her hair was open and gathered on one side. She came and stood in front of him and offered him a bida of paan.( I had read somewhere that in olden times bida of paan was offered as an invitation to spend the night.) He took it from her accepting her invitation. She gracefully walked into the room. Her dupatta was casually laid on her shoulders. She stood in the middle of the room her back facing him. His breath stuck in his throat as her whole expanse of her back was visible. His foot carried him to her on his own accord. He caressed her back Jodha moved a little and turned arround. Jalal slowly pulled her dupatta away from her it lay on the ground. Now Jodha was breathing hard. She started backing away towards the wall as Jalal stepped forward. At last Jalal had her right where he wanted between the wall and him. He came close and smelled her and said “Madhosh karne wali khooshboo hai yeh. Kya irada hai, qatl ka.” He caressed her cheeks with his lips. Jodha was breathing hard. “Main fanaah ho gaya aapki ek Jalal dekh kar. Na Jane aayine par roz kya guzarta hai.” He said, Jodha blushed and looked down. Jalal put his finger under her Chin and picked her face up “ yeh haya ki lali aap ke husn ko aur nikhr deta hai.” He pulled her to him. “ Aaj humein aap ke is bepanaah husn ki chao me kho jane dijiye. In Labon o chukar humein apni saalon ki pyas vujhane dijiye.” Both their breathing had became fast. “ kisne roka hai aapko Shahenshah. Hum ne aaphi keliye to yeh mehfil Sajaya hai.” Jodha said panting “ Jodha....” saying he claimed her lips.the kiss had started soft but soon became desperate. Jalal deepened the kiss he pushed his tongue into her mouth, his hand slowly reached for her b****t over her choli. Jodha let out a moan. They broke away for breath. She looked into his eyes to find them filled with dark desire. She felt shy and suddenly freed her self and escaped to the window. She had her back to him .he smiled and went to her then kissed her on her back and slowly pulled at the dori and it opened easily. He kissed her back again, Jodha let out a moan. He then opened the next dori. Jodha’blouse was now loose. Jalal’s hand sneaked into her loose blouse and he took her soft mound into his hand and massaged them ,Jodha threw back her head and let out a loud moan. Jalal picked her up in his arms and took her to the bed and lay her down then he opened his jama and threw it away. Then he pulled Jodha’s blouse away from her body . She was breathing hard. He admired her beauty. His hand went to the surahi lying on the side table he took it and poured wine on her br***t, Jodha moaned softly, He proceeded to lick he br***t. “ Sahanshah “ she called out in ecstasy. “ Jalal kaho.” Hheard sucking he left br***t. She moaned. He poured more wine inher other br***t and licked it this time. He then went a little down and licked her belly button. “J.....Jalal ...” she moned again he came up to her poured some wine on her lips and licked it. His hand reachex for her lehenga, and he pulled it open. Then his pants followed. He touched her womanhood. She bit her lips to stop her self from making too much noise. “ kahiye na Jodha naam se bulaya.” He said,he slipped his finger into her womanhood “ jalaaaallll....”He captured her lips again . She couldn’t take it any more. She touched his manhood on her own accord. Jalal let out a groan. He kissed her as he entered her slowly. “ Jodha hum aapse beintehaa mohabbat karte hai , air Umar bhar aapko aiysechi pyar karna chahte hai. “ he said kissing her. “ hum bhi Shahenshah.”.

They became two bodies one soul. All their pain, all their anguish, all their hatred was lost in the sea of love. And this tale of love lived to be told and sung by people even after 400 years.
