It is not about her it is about him. I'm not showing her point of view , many have already written about it I'm showing Jalal's feeling and emotions at that point.

When a man is angry in anger a person does things he will not do if he is in normal state of mind. So it is all about male ego. To satisfy ones ego one can go to any level even offering a seat to a maid just to put her down. Ego in a person or in a relationship is always a relationship killer. 12 years of experience in marriage tells me that dear.

And how much ever strong and fiery she is at the end of the day she is a girl a women. And for a women respect and husbands love is normally everything, even today no women can tolerate this kind of beating on her ego at one point of time or the other she breaks down.

I also think that Jodha in the show was not as weak as some of the stories that have been written in the forum. I thing she was hurt but she did hold her ground, she was the only person who from the beginning did not trust Benazir, she was strong enough to stop that women from killing her husband while on the way to the Dargah. In the end she did break down because she felt help less. I think they have shown the love that is developing in Jodha beautifully in the show.

Please don't take it otherwise, it's just my opinion, I'm not trying to be rude or arrogant 😊

Chapter 5 Jealousy

Jalal saw that Jodha was returning to his room from the other side he saw Benazir approaching as he had called her. Jalal went back to his room and prepared a drink for himself. After sometime a guard had approached him " Shahenshah ka iqbaal buland ho Benazir aap se milna chahti hai. " he said. " Haan and do unhe." Benazir came in and said " Adab huzur , sap ke khidmat me Bandi hazir hai. " Jalal had already seen Jodha was about to pass his room. " Aaiye Benazir humare paas baithiye. As she came and sat next to the Jalal, he looked up to see Jodha pas hia room he brought Benazir's had to his cheeks and said " badi fursat se banaya hai allah ne aap ko. Ke koi bhe aap ke husn ka derwent ho jaye. From the corner of his eyes he saw Jodha was looking at them with burning eyes. " Good he thought let her feel the pain of being rejected." As Benazir came close to Jalal , he saw Jodha leave , he moved away as his purpose was served." Taklia." He said and left from there.

The next day he came to his practice area and saw Jodha in a practice uniform. This one was black in colour. He smiled at the amount of her jealousy ,that just because he had given his uniform to Benazir she had changed it. He took his sword and walked towards her. She saw him approaching and prepared her self for the attack, " Aaj achanak aapko shamsheer baji ki yaad kaise aayi." He asked. " kiyun aapko koi apaatti hai." She asked. " Nahi." He said " Fir suru karne." She asked she got into her defensive mode and Jalal attacked. She blocked the first blow and attacked back Jalal dodge her blow, she attacked again he dodged and her sword hit the vase on the side. This time Jalal attacked towards her leg she jumped and he missed. The fight continued after sometime they saw Benazir come towards them. The guards didn't try to stop her this time. " Adab huzur kya humein bhi aapke saath riyaz karne ka izzat bakshenge." She said . Jalal smirked but jodha was shocked at her audacity." Zarur " said Jalal. Jodha stood back fuming .

Benazir and Jalal started their practice. Jalal was always good but Benazir was also good, but not as good as Jodha. As the fight continued Jalal's eyes kept straying to Jodha who looked very angry and hurt , he smiled. Then because his mind was elsewhere Benazir overpowered Jalal in the process hurt Jalal's hand badly. In a flash of a second he heard Jodha drop her sword and run to his side " Sahenshah. " Jalal looked at Jodha almost running towards him. And then noticed his hand was bleeding. She came and took his hand and then went towards a pot with a plant lying on the side and brought some soil and put it on the hurt place. Then she turned on Benazir " Tumhe dikhai nahi deta kis tarha se talwar chala rahi ho haath se talwar girate waqt haath mein chot kaise lag jaanti hai." She said. Jalal was enjoying the sight. He could see that she was not only jealous she was very much concerned about him. " Jodha begum hum thik hai." He said looking at her. "Aap jaiye aur hakim ko dikhaiye. Chalie hum le jaye hai." She said Jalal smirked and said" koi baat nahi Benazir humein le jayegi. Kya pata le jate jate kanhi aapne dhakka maar diya toh." He said. He could see the shock in her face. A lone tear trickled down her eyes.

The proceeding of Deewan e khaas was on. " Huzur, humein Kabul ke jasooso se pata chala hai ke begum mahachuchak ne aap ke qutl ki saajis Rachi hai. Unhone koi hatyar aapko maarne ke liye bheja hai." Said Atgah sahab. " hmmmm... thik hai, aap fikr mat kijiye, mujhe much nahi hoga, jiske khilaf saajis na rachi Jae woh kaisa badshah. " Jalal said. " Nahi Huzur is baat ko itne Halle mein mat lijiye. Humein aapki suraksha badani hogi." Atgah sahab said. " Thik hai. Aur kuch. " Jalal asked. " Sahenshah Chittore mein Rana Pratap apni sena bada raha hai." Said Maan Singh. " Thik hai humare jasooso se kaho in par nazar rakhein" Jalal said. "Deewan e khaas barkhast " he said and left.

As he went towards his room he saw Rukaiya coming towards his room. " Adab Shahenshah. " She said. "Adab." Answered Jalal. " hum chahte hai ke aaj sham ko aap humein khel kaksh mein mile, ek arsa ho gaya hai humne khel hai." Rukaiya said. " Zarur. Aur is baar hum jitenge bhi." Jalal said smiling. " hahaha sochiye sochiye sochna what keliye acha hota hai. Milte hai." She said as she left" khuda Haafis." She said.

Jalal reaches his room and kept his crown on the side of his bed. And then he sat down and thought about what he saw in the morning. He thought about how concerned Jodha was about him. The way she came running to him when he cut his hand. Why was she so concerned if she has rejected him? Does that mean she had feelings for him, then Why did she deny it? What was the meaning of the push? And if she sis not want him why did she even write to him. He knew he was being too mean but still ego did not want to let it go. Again he asked himself should she forgive him.? No she deserved to know how it felt to be rejected.

It was almost time for him to leave to meet Rukaiya begam . He was almost ready. When a guard walked in. " Shahenshah ka iqbaal buland ho. Jodha begum aapse milna chahti hai." Now what was it he thought. " Izazat hai." He said. Jodha walked in " aap ka haat kaisa hai." She asked. He was surprised that she remembered." Thik hai , thoda dard hai." He said. " main lep laayi hun laga dun." She asked " Lagadijiye. " Jalal said as he sat on the bed. Jodha came and put the lep on his cut and dressed it. " Sahenshah hum aapse kuch jarurat baat karna chahte hai." Jodha said. " kahiye." He asked." Aap ke khilaf saajis Rachi ja rahi hai , begum mahachuchak ne aap ko maarne ke liye hatyar bheja hai. Aur is mein humare mehel se bhi koi shamil hai."
