Soul connection - that is exactly what it is...
Here she is wishing to save 'at least some of Parnagarh by using diplomacy with the Shehzaade' and there he is doing just that!

I've mentioned this elsewhere... but since you brought it up...
By the hand of fate, Akbar will be filling the void of that family that she lost...

By becoming the Mansabdar, he occupies the empty position that her Late father had left behind...
By becoming her husband, he becomes the protector, the guardian that Durga Bai once was..

By becoming his guide and companion, she becomes the Abbu he so misses
By becoming his wife, she completes the family that his mother had so cruelly taken away from him..

And this without realising that that is what they are doing!

It's not just that Harshu... now, I have a library full of Jodha Akbar photos too... but I wouldn't be able to achieve what you do...
to be able to relate the right photos to the right scenario, I don't think I have seen anyone else do this as well as you... 👏

All right, I have safely wrapped up and kept inside my safe Adwi's as-usual as always amazing take, Shruthi's suda suda quoobee classic, Bond's dhamaakedhaar non-bullet mobile version (yes yes both your reviews 😆) Divi's two take super bonanza and Mitu's heartfelt Shastra writeup!
I will get back to it one by one..
🤗

I'm getting Shehzaade-like angry glares from my better half for being rooted here for the past 3 hours😆

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">How Akbar reached Shehzaade (Edited part)</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">'Akbar...
here... I found something...'</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">Tugging at
the reigns, he back tracked, directing Bahadur towards the drag marks that
Ibrahim had just discovered. These parts of the province hadn't seen rain in
months. The humidity in the air was low. The mud on the forest floor had turned
into coarse rubble, strewn with broken twigs and dried leaves - making it
almost impossible to find traces of foot prints and hoof prints.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">So, they had
to make do with whatever they could find.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">'This?'
Akbar stared at the discovery that they had stumbled across.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">A series of
partial footprints - different sizes - that had been trampled over. And
over. And over again, by various drag marks in various directions. 'No this
cannot be it...' Akbar shook his head 'it looks like a procession passed by
here... our Huzoor prefers hunting in small groups...'</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">He glanced up at a tree, a short distance away.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">Cupping his hands around his
mouth, Akbar yelled out to the man who was perched dangerously upon one of its
higher branches 'Any luck, Azeez?'</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">'Errr...'
Using his palm to shield from the glare of the pink sun, the chap looked East, West,
North and South - squinting his eyes as he scoured through the foliage across
the lengths and breadths of the thickets. There was no sign of anyone
whatsoever. 'No Sahib...'</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3"></font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">Akbar whipped
the reins in a hurry 'Let's get going then...'</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3"></font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">'Yes Sahib' Grabbing onto a low
hanging vine, Azeez swung back onto the saddle of his horse - and off the men
went.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">Throughout the journey, his concerned
mates had asked him questions aplenty, but he had no explanation to give. All
he knew was that there was a gnawing feeling within, that grew stronger by the
beat - as though to remind him that time was running out.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">Now, he didn't know who would
suffer if time ran out. Nor did he know how much time was left. Which is why,
he needed answers. And he had come here, seeking the only person who could give
him those answers!</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3"></font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">Another hour of
tracking passed. A few more miles of frustrating nothingness. The light in the skies
were sinking, sinking along with it his spirits too - further and further down into
this black pit of despair.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">And there came a point when the anxieties in his
heart was about to reach their zenith.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">Just then, the young man thought he heard something...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">'Wait...'he swiftly ordered his mates to stay still, his attention drawntowards the North skies.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">Three moments later,
there was a burst of action in the sky as a flock of game birds flew out, flapping their wings in a
frenzy, escaping the danger that loomed over them.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">'There... that's where
Huzoor is hunting...'</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">And off the men went, charging off in the direction of the
hunting scenes that lay afar...</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">It's me Huzoor... no need to be alarmed'</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3"></font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="3">What?'</font>

thank you lashy Di for sharing this part also

HI LASHY, I AM LAVANYA

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM ACTUALLY INTERACTING WITH YOU ON YOUR STORIES

I LOVED YOUR NJAPA AND I STILL READ IT SEVERAL TIMES. I ONLY STARTED READING IT AFTER YOU HAD FINISHED IT, SO IT WAS EASIER FOR ME, COZ THERE WAS NO WAITING

I USUALLY DONT LIKE WAITING FOR UPDATES 😆 AND THEREFORE I USUALLY DONT READ STORIES TILL THEY ARE FINISHED. BUT SINCE SHYAMALA AUNTY, SARASWATHI AUNTY, VIDYA AND SANDHYA HAD PRAISED IT SO MUCH, I COULD NOT WAIT, AND I STARTED READING THIS STORY ONLY A FEW WEEKS AGO

I MUST ADMIT TWO THINGS -

FIRST, THE INITIAL FEW CHAPTERS, WHEN READ AT ONE GO, WERE QUITE CONFUSING. I ACTUALLY HAD TO READ THEM MULTIPLE TIMES TO GET THE HANG OF IT

AND SECOND, THAT YOU HAVE A WAY WITH WORDS. THE STYLE OF WRITING IS SO DIFFERENT IN BOTH STORIES THAT IT ACTUALLY AMAZES ME - NJAPA WAS FAIRLY STRAIGHTFORWARD BUT THIS ONE IS VEILED, SUBTLE AND UNDERSTATED. AND THE DIFFERENCE IS NOT JUST OWING TO THE SETTING, ITS MAINLY OWING TO YOUR WRITING STYLE

IN HINDI THERE IS A WORD CALLED "THEHERAAV" WHICH, LOOSELY TRANSLATED, MEANS STABILITY. I FEEL A DISTINCT SENSE OF ROCK SOLID STABILITY IN YOUR WRITING, WHICH GETS PASSED ON TO YOUR CHARACTERS TOO
