Wonderful thought . I for one did not find any thing out of place in characters .
1)rukku - we as a audience know about her true color but not other character so for them she is a women who is alone and now that every one is either haveing baby or has ababy , she is feeling more of this void of not being mother . No one knows her intentions so every one has sympathi for her .
2)jalal -he is neither supporting rukku on her demand nor jodha on her suggestion up till now , he is being fair here . He is not going in to women angle here , for him child can not be separated from mother that is all. But he does have sympathy for his childhood friend .
3)jodha -She has sympathy for every one then why not rukku , as women she understand plight of other women pluse she values rukku as jalal's childhood friend and she for one does not want that relation to become sour .
4)Salima -her support to rukku is fair one as she does not know fp story and even though she knew about it she will think like jodha on same level . And divya u said perfectly as lone women she knows better than anyone what miracle is to have child , every thing else does not matter , u build ur own little world around that miracle . She is fair person too ,her thinking is rational for me .

rashmi think in different angle if child does not have mother ,women who becomes mother get milk production with out giving birth to that child that is how beautiful this mother baby relationship . And milk is milk wether from ur own mother or some one else just not formula one 😉 . There is nothing wrong in giving ur child to childless women only catch is mother has to be content after that , no guilt feeling . Plight of childless women in our society is really cringeworthy . And here jodha really thinking from all aspect , from women side , from motherless women , her husbands honor , his other relationship , she has big responsibility and jodha is not loosing any thing more so she is gaining a lot in process , only thing killing audience is that rukku's intention

I am not saying that it is right, but there would have been some sympathy for ruks. Even if she does take the child jodha is not going to be deprived of the child ( if ruks will be fair). They are one family afterall. When Rahim stays more with Jodha Salima is not deprived, right?

There are children put in hostel for various reasons who yet love and are loved by their family. My own sis and a cousin of mine initially grew up with my grandparents. Actually it brought the whole joint family closer. When there is mutual love and understanding by the extended family members all these don't matter. The only problem here is that Ruqaiyya's intentions are dubious.
