Ruqaiya bk (and hence salima) and cb and hence nigaar have suffered more because of maham. Ruks need not have faked pregnancy or asked for child if not for maham. What about the numerous other miscarriages in harem? Those nameless faceless begums lost their scant chance of happiness in life. Doesn't ma need to apologize to them all? But no. Only our jodha begum comands all apologies. Phir chahe woh Shahenshah ka ho ya kisi aur ka.
