Ruqaiya ko audha ki bimaari hai aur jodha ko mahaanta ki. I too expected the Yashodha comparison in her attempt to convince Jalal. But Maham Anga? ???😲...and bharpet bhojan and bhookha in a parivaar...😲. Wonder who writes her dialogues. 😕 Even her supreme selfless sacrifice is reduced to a comedy.😭. And the likes of me get more irked.😔

But Jalal's stand is heartening. But how long? Perhaps as long as his correct stand in the Todarmal case. He will buckle down finally. 😡 perhaps this is why historians call this period the petticoat government.

Salima did surprise me too. But she too only believed what she saw. Ruqaiya's actions were justifiable in suja track and all previous tracks. I could even acquit and defend her in fp track and blame Jalal's ignoring her. But this time she has crossed the line. I would have been her front line lawyer had she wanted only the child. But wanting to be MUZ means either bumping off Jodha or her other child. This has nothing to do with Jalal ignoring her or feeling insecure. It is as evil as MA's actions. Hope sense dawns on her before she formulates or executes her seriously wrong ideas. I have liked her grey shades and i hope she doesn't turn charcoal black with any serious crime

Thanks Sandhya.

Yes, I am not going to analyze the dialogues but the sentiment

Ruq's is going too far this time for sure

Jalal is fine this time I think as it is ultimately Jodha's decision- as per the precap, isn't he almost saying it is not his farmaan but Jodha's decision

as per salima goes, she is also not wrong from her point of view. salima dont have kids of her own & she knows very well if rahim wasnt with her, she would have been lonely. so as a woman she was connecting herself with ruku's pain. HB had know known ruku since she was a kid, infact, she will know ruku even better than jalal, bcoz HB was always with ruku, whereas jalal spent most of his time out of agra for months.

New to ja forum.
Nice post.
Yes, can understand where each of them are coming from. Salima, has no kids of her own, rahim fills the void for her. At the same time she does not get it that it's not easy to give away ones kid just to satisfy some woman's loneliness or to fill her empty life. Having a child grow inside u and nourishing it for 9 months n going thru so much to bring a child into this world is no joke and to just handover it to someone else is not as easy as they all seem to think. Even jodha is mistaken if she thinks she would be able to do it so easily. Her dialog that she is a rajvanshi and she wld not let her husbands word go unfulfilled even if she has to give her life,.. one can even give up their life but not so easy to give up thier kids! Nature has programmed every living thing to safe guard its babies and the motherly instinct and the need n urge to protect ur kids supersedes everything. Take for example MA even her best of intentions went awry, her love n loyalty to jalal was not the ough when it came to her love for her own flesh n blood.
Right now jo thinks she can but Will Jo be able to hand over the baby after it's born?
How come jalal is so against giving up his child? For he has experienced it first hand. He resented his mom for letting him down, for not taking care of him and being away from him when he was growing up. HB also understands the emotional turmoil a child goes thru being torn away from its parents.
But Jo seems to be looking at things thru rose colored glasses. Yes its a sad situation that ruk has no child. But life is not always fair.
Jo is too naive to understand the ramifications of giving up her child and to look beyond the act of ruk. Ruks attitude post mirchi war has lulled her into believing that things have changed n by doing this they can all live amicably, one big family.
N ja forgiving ruk., he always does. Though he knows their faults, he always forgives others faults, MA, AK, ruk, till there is point of no return.

Thanks and welcome to the forum! A well-balanced view of all the characters- particularly your take on Jalal understanding what happens when a son is separated from the mother.

I wonder what the point of no return will be for Ruqs

The kalyana samayal saadham one?
Btw is the character of vatsala of the movie real? A part of Mahabharat? Never seen/heard her mentioned anywhere else.

Btw the mirror also says Shakuni is also the person Krishna thinks of most.😊
