I agree that Jodha is being her true, noble self in dealing with Maham.

You know, what they say, we hate that in others which we most hate in ourselves. This innate, natural-born goodness of Jodha bugs me sometimes when the recipient is a no-gooder or an ingrate. 😊

My mother inculcated this doctrine of doing good to others, even if they are boors of the worst order, from childhood to such an extent that even when I don't want to be good to someone, I subconsciously end up doing so, much to my consternation. Of course, I expect Jodha is much nobler than me and she would never have such unholy thoughts about doing good.

The whole idea behind Jodha being good to Maham, in spite of Maham's churlishness to her, is that one who is truly good will be good with anyone and not just with those who are good to them in return. This is a highly ideal situation. Many times, Jo has proved this to be true.

But what vexes me is practically, how far should one be good to a person who is on her deathbed but still unrepentant. (I know Maham will soon turn a new leaf and accept Jodha. But right now, this has not happened. The discussion precedes that scenario.)

Shouldn't one also think in terms of "punishing" that person for her crimes or reforming her?

Maham has done enough harm to Jalal and his family. Can Jodha alone forgive her on behalf of Jalal?

Does Maham deserve this kind of love and attention, after all her misspent life?

Why is it important to make Maham wish to live, by even lying for this purpose? I don't mind the lie, per se. That's a white lie spoken for a cause. It's the cause I am doubtful about. What good will come if Maham lives? Is it only because she is Jalal's foster mother?

Please help me out here in seeking these answers. 😊

PS: This post is NOT anti-Jodha. I love Jodha as much, if not more, as any other Jodha lover here on the forum. This post is only to understand if her attitude to Maham is practical.

Nice Episode, esp. after yesterday's ...Every episode can not be based on Just JJ, as there are SO MANY people in their lives...But, an Episode like yesterday should be shown at least sometimes, if not always.

Precap was Reverse Psychology by Jodha..And, i tell you, i am LOVING this. I guess precap will be shown in the end of tomorrows' episode and then on Friday we have MA's end..

Will not miss even a second of tomorrow's episode in the starting, as i WANT to see Jodha going to MA, despite Ruqayya's denial...

I too liked today's episode a lot Abhay. The plot moved briskly with appropriate dramatic elements .

Jodha's tactics to get Jalal to reveal his innermost feelings about Mahamanga will definitely work She is using his "teda" methods against him very sensitively and appropriately too. Paridhi was superb today.

Mahamanga realizes her mistake in cursing the unborn babies of Jodha and Jalal . Ashwini was very very good as the frail , helpless , grieving Mahamanga .

Rukaiyya was at her insolent best again .I am desperately waiting for the moment when she herself will reveal her intentions in a fit of possessive rage . Mazaa ayega .

The story line is evolving so well that I have kept my fingers crossed , for this aspect not to get jinxed.I am watching the serial with renewed enthusiasm.
