While we mostly know who the good people are and who the evil ones in JA, there are some characters in a hazy zone in-between, who can swing in any direction, any time.

Ruqaiyya

Topping the list of grey characters is the BEK. Sometimes, she is extremely bad and sometimes, tolerably good. She has not been EVIL like Maham so far. Neither has she been goody-goody like Jodha.

Sometimes she is driven by an insane jealousy of the Jalal-Jodha union. At other times, she accepts their closeness and Jodha's goodness and chooses to coexist in an almost-amiable manner.

On Friday, we saw that the Green Monster seems to have reared its ugly head again in the mindscape of Ruqaiyya, as the other choti Begums gather around Jodha and congratulate her on her soon being MUZ. Jealousy in itself is not a bad thing. How an individual reacts to it and lets it affect their moral judgement determines the quality of jealousy.

Earlier, in Jodha's FP track, Ruqaiyya had declared that she would never harm the "baby" in Jodha's womb because it was Jalal's child. But there are spoilers now claiming that Ruqaiyya will try to harm Jodha's babies and may be Jodha herself. If true, does it indicate that Ruqaiyya's jealousy has grown by the day and is now totally in control of Ruqaiyya's attitude?

Ruqaiyya is aware that if she is caught, Jalal would mete out a severe punishment to her. Why would she take such a chance?

Did the CVs bring her on board just to add one more mute spectator to the happenings in Agra Fort, besides JijiAnga and Gulbadan Begum?

Did the CVs have something else in mind regarding the end of the war track? Why, after all the initial drama, is Nigar now reduced to being a decorated elephant? I think if she has nothing further to do, the CVs would have (or should have) dispatched her off by now.

So why exactly are Nigar and CB still in Agra? The other day, on Eid, Jalal had told Nigar that he would give her some areas to rule. It's time to execute the announcement and say bye bye to Nigar. Or is some drama still pending?

Bakshi Bano

The authentically pregnant Bakshi is vaccinating between her devotion to her brother and her jealousy of Jodha and associated negative emotions.

If her child is stillborn as people are claiming then it may have been a deliberate ploy by someone who doesn't want any possible heir to the Mughal throne alive.

How will Bakshi deal with her unresolved feelings for Jodha? Will she hatch some plan to kill Jodha or harm her babies?

Mahamanga's Curse

Yes! You are right. This curse may also become an important X factor in how things shape up in the near future.

Whether it was just a damp squib by the CVs in a bid to raise TRPs before the weekend or it will grow in size to alarming proportions and affect everyone at Agra negatively, remains to be seen.
