This shouldn't happen at all. But it has happened right here on IF. Inspite of giving proofs people refuse to believe him. But stuff which hasn't even been proved or is full of loopholes is quickly lapped up.

Even freedom of discussion is restricted here. We can't change people's mindset or thinking whether it is 21st or 16th century but atleast we should have a our basic rights. A discussion platform that doesn't allow discussion. How weird is that?

If we were abusing each other or taking potshots at different communities then our pleas could have been ignored and the threads blocked. I wouldn't have complained. But some members talk badly about a community and get away with it. On the other hand history threads (specifically Abhay's) are targeted. What kind of a picture of IF does this present?

Please start a new thread, requesting the mods to allow separate history threads, n pointing out the problems faced while using the common sticky one. Ask members who agree with you to "like" your post, n post comments on THAT thread, requesting the mods to do the same. Then pm the link of that thread to the mods...I think that should work...

Isn't this thread enough for mods to realize the importance and popularity of Abhay's threads??

Any discussion of the show is going to involve history. The actors themselves say it's based on historical characters. Along with new history threads allowed to be opened, older threads of Abhay should be un-locked. They are a treasure of information. That can't be replicated and sadly can't be read by interested members (which are many). When the actors and makers have no issues and say it is a historical show then why the authorities are being so rigid?

welcome back abhay...agree with your each n every word n I m with u in ur decision not share ur hard work in common thread n u hv full right to make seperate threads for ur research n reopened ur previous threads, IF is a public forum n everybody hv right to express their views but this right nt gv us to destroy anyone's hard work just coz of ours pov is different frm his/her pov..at last bus itna kehna hai un logo se jinki wajah se abhay ke threads closed kiye gaye the ek naya rule banakar.. aap agar kisi ki awaaz ko dabaa nahi sakte toh sabse asaan tarika hai ki itna shor machao ki uss shor me woh awaaz kanhi gum ho jaye..par shor machane walo itna yaad rakhna kab tak shor machaoge ek na ek din tum shor macha macha kar jab thak jaaoge uss din dhyan se sunna woh buland awaaz ussi bulandi ki saath apni baat suna rahi hogi or jin logo ne thumare shor se apne kaan band kar liye honge woh phir se uss awaaz ki aur khiche ja rahe honge...

Heyo... This is my 'very' delayed post on this thread... I blame lazy summer days and the seductress that is procrastination. .. :P

Abhay... hats off to you man... what a graceful yet firm post showing your dissatisfaction with the current rules and the petty behavior of some members that has brought JA forum to this state... pity...

I dunno if I'm allowed to say this and apologise if I sound rude...but the Mods are being insufferably stubborn... and it breaks my heart to see that such back-breaking hard work and research, which truthfully is what made this forum so popular, is being treated in such a way... *insert head shake of dispair with a dramatically heavy sigh and puppy dog eyes*

Jokes apart... mods better take their head outta the sand and see that in trying to appease a few members they've disgruntled many... What was the complain again btw... lack of reference and credibilty of the threads...? Let me snort in derision at those being wilfully blind when the obvious is staring at them in the face... *another head shake of disbelief*

Can this pettiness be dropped already... really... can't we just sort this via hugs... hugs are easy... you just sort of fall into each other and hold on... :P

All in all.. .the current situation...? not cool... castiel will not forgive this abuse of free will and freedom... damn these jokes dont leave me... sorry... still suffering from spn season 9 hangover...bleh...

You have a point. Despite dramatization, as responsible viewers, we have a right to dissect the story, and discuss about what COULD / Would HAVE happened and what could NOT, instead of taking down anything, which is 'served' to us.

Don't you think due to all this point ONLY, MOST of the discussions are going on here, as PEOPLE joined this Forum DUE TO THE NAME of Jodha-Akbar, who EXISTED in history in Reality. Just think ONCE.

I don't think, HAD this BEEN a story of any XYZ Fictionally "NameD" Character, we all would have been present here.!!!!.. It was the Aura of a Remarkable Person whom we Salute and his Beloved Wife who MADE all of us join this Forum, and CONTINUE here...

@Underlined...I completely agree, though here the more important issue here is the Right to Freely Discuss and exchange our views.

What more i can add..!!...You are quite active here...And i feel, it is clear that there is NO Episode Thread which is Devoid of a Historical Discussion (infact, how is it possible to segregate history, is beyond understanding.!!!!!...)...Then why this RULE.?. No one understands the Utility..!!!!!.

I do hope that the 'plea' of the Majority of Forum Members is heard, and we all are able to Renew our discussions and get our OLD good days back..I agree about this "Reporting War" which led to such a situation, and more shocking was the Demand to Restrict Discussion on a Sticky.. Can't we all sustain here.?. This place is for all of us...Though, going by the responses it is clear that Majority wants this Rule to be done away with, and i am hopeful that the authorities will see the DE-Merits...
