Abhay... hats off to you man... what a graceful yet firm post showing your dissatisfaction with the current rules and the petty behavior of some members that has brought JA forum to this state... pity...
I dunno if I'm allowed to say this and apologise if I sound rude...but the Mods are being insufferably stubborn... and it breaks my heart to see that such back-breaking hard work and research, which truthfully is what made this forum so popular, is being treated in such a way... *insert head shake of dispair with a dramatically heavy sigh and puppy dog eyes*

Jokes apart... mods better take their head outta the sand and see that in trying to appease a few members they've disgruntled many... What was the complain again btw... lack of reference and credibilty of the threads...? Let me snort in derision at those being wilfully blind when the obvious is staring at them in the face... *another head shake of disbelief*
Can this pettiness be dropped already... really... can't we just sort this via hugs... hugs are easy... you just sort of fall into each other and hold on... :P

All in all.. .the current situation...? not cool... castiel will not forgive this abuse of free will and freedom... damn these jokes dont leave me... sorry... still suffering from spn season 9 hangover...bleh...

Seriously though abhay... I hear you bro... sending my fist bump to you and everyone here in an international symbol of I-got-your-back-man... :)
P.S I'm ready to pull the mcgonagall on you know who with tou know what... you know ?... XD
P.P.S (cos I can never avoid these) you a Dan Brown fan???

I bet that majority of JA forum members agree with you😊
Governments change because of public opinion...Constitutions are amended for the convinience of public...Businesses spend money and man power to find out the needs and wants of public...scientific innovations are done to make life easier for public...fiscal policy and government spending revolves around the public demand...education and healthcare models are changed for the benefit of public.
But certain JA forum rules are abruptly changed, carved in stone and then unfairly implemented for the convinience of very few. Wonder why? Well, rulemakers are human...they can't be expected to be neutral just because the job profile demands neutrality.

For some members mods have punished the entire forum. It is petty beyond belief.

Don't you think due to all this point ONLY, MOST of the discussions are going on here, as PEOPLE joined this Forum DUE TO THE NAME of Jodha-Akbar, who EXISTED in history in Reality. Just think ONCE.

I don't think, HAD this BEEN a story of any XYZ Fictionally "NameD" Character, we all would have been present here.!!!!.. It was the Aura of a Remarkable Person whom we Salute and his Beloved Wife who MADE all of us join this Forum, and CONTINUE here...

@Underlined...I completely agree, though here the more important issue here is the Right to Freely Discuss and exchange our views.

Hi,

I want to add to this.

Abhay had made ONLY one thread, the very first one, on his OWN, due to his passion for unearthing the hidden story of Akbar and MUZ. The other threads were ALL made on popular demand by members, who wanted to know MORE and MORE about Jodha Akbar. He went to great extents to learn and cross-verify data from rarely available original material in order to satisfy the curiosity of every member here.

Even at the time of closure of the threads, Abhay was besieged by demands to make a thread on the wives of Akbar, which unfortunately remains a pipe dream.

Since we are the ones who made Abhay undertake such arduous, backbreaking work, in spite of his studies, so that we could comfortably sit in our armchairs at home and learn about the legendary Jodha Akbar, it is up to us to support him now. Because if the rule is not changed, we are the biggest losers. Abhay can continue his research at his pace in private and publish his findings elsewhere if he so desires. But where do we armchair historians go if we want to know something? Do we really have it in us to go out of our way to find, read, verify and understand what could have happened all those centuries ago?

Abhay has rightly pointed out that we were attracted to this show because of its link to history and we will naturally wish to know at every step if what is shown on screen really happened. The nature of all the endless debates, clashes, bashes, despair, excitement, curiosity, the hunger for spoilers, everything here indicates one factor alone - the historical background.

It is time we accept that we are looking for a dramatized historical and that we cannot avoid discussing the historicity of the story in any way. There is No way historical discussions can be avoided on any thread.

Abhay, I so enjoyed reading your threads... had even questioned the reason for the closure of your threads, but to no avail!

Hope democracy wins and I get to read your new threads.

Keep rocking.

Hi Minnie,
It's heartening to see that you too enjoyed reading those threads. :)

I wish the rule is done away with. Even i could not get any 'justified' reason for this rule. First time, i am seeing threads being 'banned' on a public platform. !!

Let's hope that the administrators keep the Welfare of Forum and it's members 'ABOVE EVERYTHING'. As there is overwhelming negation for this rule, because it is simply not applicable. I mean, how can we 'stop' a discussion from turning historical. The very BASIS for discussion is the historicity.!!!!!.

Dear Omniscier on all things Jalauddin Mohammed,

Democracy in India, as stated by a long ago hasya Kavi..was a state " Jahan logon ki, logon ke liye and logon ke behalf mein aisi ki taisi hoti hai"
We are not by any shot, forget long, a nation that is capable of laughing at ourselves, forget taking criticism on the chin...The defensive chip on our shoulders is probably now a part of our genome...and Hitlerian censorship just sponsors rebellion...
So...go ahead and be a rebel...great battles in life began and were won that way..

"If the road ahead is blocked...look for the diversion...and failing that...create one."...😆.-LizB

Hum honge Kamiyab and May God bless you and fulfill your wishes .👏⭐️

My wish that your posts are reopened in this forum as they don't hurt anyone but just inform so many facts which you painstakingly collect I myself read so many books but did not get the chance to access the archives which you went through

Thanks Sunram.
That is exactly my point. Those threads had simple facts and never written with an intention to hurt anyone. They were present for the last 9 months on this forum. Still they were reported, that too many times..

I still remember your old post about Mirabai, where you said, unless 'it' is done personally, it's hard to understand the EFFORTS gone in the compilation of these threads.. Please keep sharing your experience.

Hi Liz,

Welcome back 🤗

You were Missed Greatly but not as much as your Sense of Humor and Wit. 😎 An example of which can be seen here - what a Thorough Shake Down of us 😲

It's hard to say if we are looking for a diversion or trying to create a path - but, we are definitely not letting a road block stop us from marching ahead. And this is when the support of friends like you means a lot!

The rule does not take into account the obsession we have with legends and how they might have been and not been. 😉 We are not ones who can quietly watch a show and forget it immediately and get on with life. We are people who dissect every character as if they were our childhood buddies and no one can know them better than us.

Whatever may be the topic of discussion, talk ultimately veers around to whether the real people could have actually behaved like their on-screen counterparts. In such conditions, gag orders cannot work.

Completely agree with you Radhika. The rule has been made thinking JA is fiction.
