Sharing a PM here, read just now, sent by a member 2 days back , who does NOT wants to post this herself on the Forum disclosing her ID(?), but wants me to post it.
I am posting a ''part'' of the PM.
She has asked the same questions raised by many of us. Though her PM was 'touching' and perhaps an ''answer'' also. đ

You stood against those beliefs about akbar and fell prey. all of us are suffering due to prejudice of some . it is a mirage that indiaforums boasts of calling itself number 1 discussion forum and acts in such an ostracizing manner against a member. @Abhay:
Thank you for sharing this wonderful PM! It's wonderful not just because it is well-written or gets everything correct. What reaches out to me in this PM is the insatiable urge of many people to discover their roots, discover the hidden / missing link to their past.
It is clear as daylight how much this member searched to know the reality of the story of Akbar and how she failed to make headway, till she was introduced to Abhay's threads.
Her story is similar to many other stories that we are discovering every day from countless, silent readers. It is bewildering how the present stalemate is forcing these people to break their silence and come forward to speak up in favor of restoring their much-wanted history threads.
@Iqra:
What a straight-from-the-heart message! Thank you for supporting a just cause. đ What I'd like to say to you is that you seem to be young, educated, with a keen desire to know more about your past -- then why should you be unwilling to stand up and support the cause you believe in?
@ bold : True, but this is only one side of the coin. đ The threads have been targeted for not only questioning beliefs about Akbar, but also about Jodha / MUZ.
MUZ is a tragic figure in history - caught in a no-man's land between two communities. Her life story has been almost completely obliterated. And even now, there are people who do not wish her life story to emerge from the shadows of history. Abhay's passion for the love story of Akbar and Jodha led him to discover hitherto unknown facts about her and her relationship with Akbar.
This is unpalatable to many, who prefer conventional history, and feel no sense of pride that in spite of being an outsider, she could rise to the highest level of power accorded to a woman and a queen at that time.
Unfortunately, we cannot choose our past. Then why should we try to ignore it and prefer to live in an illusory world?
Hope you had a wonderful time with your family for Eid! đ Next time, we would love to hear from you straight..
