Of course. Not that I am any culture-partial. But I believe that idli/dosas go well with sambhars, rotis with panneer masala and chowmien with sauce. When something is forced in a screenplay, it tastes like Chowmein with sambhar and the flavour is lost. I can feel proud of all this if this is the Story of MRP or Jhansi Rani, but in the story of Akbar, when there is hardly any Mughal feel, except Urdu, it does jar a bit. If the earlier proportions were maintained, then the serial would be yumm yumm.😆 Anyway let us wait and see.

Yes she might show a new dimession, but her focus should be with JJ, as the show is about Jodha and Jalaal, not Salim and anarkali, utltimately she will show anarkali wants to marry salim for power like that, that's why Akbar is against the marriage.. May be she will show Akbar send her some other place with only JO knows about that..

But surely EK will show Salim turning to villan, who go against her father... EK may show Ruqu influenced him to get the TAqth for himself and all..

But now I am not at all interest in salim-anarkali story especially when they are many good tracks, I wants to see JJ struggled to get Salim, they prayed a lot and visited dargahs and JO was in Shikri with salim chisti... I even want to see Atgah, AM, MA, MAC death before Salim born..It's simply waste that CVS are bringing kyber and junk track, where they can explore MA with CB sunga track and later show AM killing atgah leading to his death..

From all that I have read written by various chroniclers of Akbar's times - his idolizers and his detractors - Akbar's tolerance to all religions was his own philosophy which he had and not developed becoz of Jodha or Ameris or anyone else - but till 1575 like all others Akbar too believed that his religion was above others as it was given out by God (a fallacy that each one of us has or have had about our faiths) - and that does not mean we are not tolerant of other faiths - after 1575 what changed was the debates at the ibadatkhana - which brought before this highly evolved human the core of all faiths - leading him to question and thus become a seeker of the truth - and thus his realisation that all religions are by man hence either all are the truth or all are illusion - thus making him able to see all faiths at par - and this well I would say came becoz he kept an open heart - and perhaps here we may say HK or Jodha may have had a hand by becoming his muse / his inspiration / his beloved - jab maashuqe mei khud ko dekho toh khud se ishq ho jaata hai - aur jab khud se ishq ho jaaye toh khuda mil jaata hai - and perhaps this may have happened to Akbar too!!!

Yes Lavina was so good in that scene.. I felt so bad seeing her, She lost everything which she wanted for herself Jalaal, BEK, MUZ that too to the one person she hates most JODHA... Poor girl.. Hope she doesn't fall into MA trap again...

Adi I think Akbar is not that much intolerant to hindu, meanwhile HK entered his life and he started seeing the hindu culture their values influenced by her respecting the culture... That's why we may see Ganga jal, hindu gods on coins, praying SUN, visiting temples many hindu culture followed by Akbar... He accepted all religions as ONE... I think he is the most tolerant MUSLIM King Hindustan got that time..

Most love stories end with union. Post marriage and synchronisation, if they begin to show how they ate, walked, talked and worked, it would turn boring. What more is left in Jo-Jalal story? The death of twins, praying and birth of Salim. The rest is all the story of Akbar. If concentrated on that people would call it documentary. Even in this, how much can they drag?

They can either take a leap or concentrate on other aspects of Akbar's life and how Jodha perceived them all. Bas. Beyond a point even nok-jhoks become pointless.

In fact after 1575 Akbar became a sufi and areligious - someone who grew beyond what any religion could offer him - and his Sufi thinking is similar to the hindu advaita and the buddhist samkhya thoughts - infact it is documented that he even scolded Todarmal on TM's kattarpanti twice and when TM wanted to retire from his post and spend his time in prayers, Akbar wrote to TM saying that the only prayer is in service to mankind thus bringing TM back to doing administration and taking care of the people.

hear hear Sandhya! There is nothing they can show with JJ at the moment. Especially if the focus is on Jodha. We'll all have to have a pregnant pause till the twins are born. So rather than show them repeating themselves, might as well watch the gentle giant invade the jashn and do some drama. And then follow JJ's adventures.
