I have a feeling that none of the other mughal romances will work. Hindi audiences have lapped up the inter religious romance of Jodha Akbar with a Hindu protagonist but how willing it will be watch the other romances where this does not play a part, I don't know, but it sure is risky. Other than Mughal e Azam, none of the other 'later mughal' romances has ever worked. Even Mughal e Azam with it's arcane Urdu dialogues, I don't know how well it will do in today's climate. My feeling is that any show that does not have a strong Hindu protagonist will suffer in ratings. I am not being boorish and hard headed, I am just saying the common sense facts that producers have to consider but never utter.Good shows does not necessarily mean good ratings. Just look at Yudh ratings for an inclination of that.
donjas, romance is such a beautiful and delicate thing that whenever its show cased with class and style we crazy die hard romantic females will lap it up in no time..doesn't matter hindu or not love has a universal language..kabhi janwar ko pyaar karke dekhiye wo iska matlab samjha denge!
