Other than Mughal e Azam, none of the other 'later mughal' romances has ever worked. Even Mughal e Azam with it's arcane Urdu dialogues, I don't know how well it will do in today's climate.

My feeling is that any show that does not have a strong Hindu protagonist will suffer in ratings. I am not being boorish and hard headed, I am just saying the common sense facts that producers have to consider but never utter.

Good shows does not necessarily mean good ratings. Just look at Yudh ratings for an inclination of that.

donjas, romance is such a beautiful and delicate thing that whenever its show cased with class and style we crazy die hard romantic females will lap it up in no time..doesn't matter hindu or not love has a universal language..kabhi janwar ko pyaar karke dekhiye wo iska matlab samjha denge!

khushi that is indeed true...but that last scene ..her tears or anger was not for the child or jodha becoming mother...it was a final defeat of everything she held close...which includes being MUZ...she lost being khaas ,she lost jalal as per her...and not onlu the audhas but to te one person who had put the fear in her the moment she entered agra...she lost jalal to jodha...there is no more charade to carry on ...and once that mask falls what we saw yesterday is the real face...insecure,scared,lonely girl who still is holding onto her pride ...she cannot let anyone know how broke she is ..not even jalal

well I'm returning after 7 weeks and just started at SR epis. ... There's a big difference between that maturity in JJ and this play school now. That was wordless for a night and half a morning - that's why that was so deep.

Lavi is good and I'm glad about that.

That's exactly my point na, Sun...this reaction of hers would have gained my sympathy when she feared & realised that she had lost/was losing Jalal...or when she realised that SHE HERSELF could NEVER be MUZ as she could never conceive again..

DEFINITELY NOT NOW, when Jo is to be MUZ...

and as for spoilers ... I might secretly want a jolt to give it an edge... but that's just me.

Do we want fiction or some history - I'm a bit torn on this one.

even i am all for a jolt and some spice...let another angle come ...there cannot be a epic love story if it does not go through the test of time and conspiracies and plot and situations...and i have complete faith in this jalal too 😆

@ donjas dear doesn't matter yaar if the story is hindu or muslim...have you noticed how many muslim stories have started being telecasted? I watched ZGH and now watching pakistani serial " Maat"...and I like them...

Oh good you also want some shocks and spice.Plus have Jalal coming out of it all smelling like roses. Best of both worlds. 😆 I don't mind that either. I guess I just want to see that Jo'd strength of character can handle these harem trials and tribulations with as much dignity as she handles a sword fight.

this is ruqaiyya for you...arrogant even in her emotions...you will never see her pitying herself or letting anyone else do it...also she was never about finer emotions...she always wanted to be the first in jalal's life..give him not a child but a heir and become MUZ...it is us who define her into this woman whom we want to empathize with...yesterday was losing the battle completely ...and only hoshiyaar is privy to her broken state not even us are allowed
