Whatever anyone says, I, as a paying audience feel extremely let down by the show, which built up the "ghrina" track for almost a year, n now; the anti climatic "non-romance" quotient of the show(over in 2 months) is now like the proverbial "Shaadi ka laddoo"... dekho toh pachchtaao, na dekho toh bhi... 😆

Anyways, I think the leap is good for the show, & instead of introduction of each gem, they could directly show them all settled in court...they should take a popular actor for Birbal & concentrate on the Akbar Birbal lores which are highly popular...

JJ can not survive without leap...unless they become wise and show political and sensible tracks...and this will never happen as Jo wont be in centre...So leap is the best possible option now...leap has to happen whether it happens in october or a few months later...

Mandy mera dil toh tab hila tha for Jalal jab Ruqu did FP with Jalal...it was the ultimate betrayal..

...Ruqu's this reaction would have been appropriate when she was told she can never conceive again, n hence can never be MUZ...I would have been with her totally then...now, when she is reacting like this bec Jo is pregnant, I feel nothing for her...nothing at all...not even contempt...what goes around, comes around.

😆..bang on! cuddly bear i had not been watching for more than a week..was ticked off when they made jalal captive..i would have enjoyed mirchi war only if they had not shown jalal weak and i would not have stopped watching it but today lavina's mind blowing performance bought tears to my eyes..and sort of skimmed through few scenes..akhda scene lacked the closeness and depth..whereas ruqlal had that detailed canvas of expressions which made a beautiful impression of their care concern love and deep pain which can never be expressed in words but only a good direction can bring it out..and then lavi's expressions where her eyes are hollow blank lifeless and yet narrating endless tail of the life and the spark that once existed is no more!

Other than Mughal e Azam, none of the other 'later mughal' romances has ever worked. Even Mughal e Azam with it's arcane Urdu dialogues, I don't know how well it will do in today's climate.

Good does not necessarily mean good ratings. Just look at Yudh ratings for an inclination of that.

Donjas Kubool hai has been in top 5 for two years...Its muslim romantic story...look if the story is good audiance will like it...and why should a show needs to be in top 5 all the time if the cost of being there is bad story line...I watch Yudh and loving it...

it was a perfectly balanced episode..one side emotional and joyous moments and other side impending danger looming ...

i absolutely loved both the jo ja scene and the ruqaiyya wala both scenes...jalal has matured so much over the year..it showed in his conversation with ruqaiyya...earlier when she would be upset he would tease ,flirt and make up lies to please her...yesterday the conversation was with concern yet firm...mature and personal...this was the talk that was needed a long time back...he sat her and made her a part of his happiness ...explained to her yet warned her subtly...the entire direction ,execution and that music in the BG just added to the pathos...

and the last scene ..lavina was brilliant...you could feel ruqaiyya ka heartbreak and sadness...whatever she turns out to be in future but she did earn my sympathy yesterday...

jodha and jalal have really become comfortable in their space and loved the sweet scenes between the would be parents...it was really touching and so much better than the leps and laps...

and about the spoilers ..am not overreacting given how many times we were taken for a ride...

🤣

I also heave a sigh of relief when it's over ...its actually embarassing to see such great - grandfatherly kisses by Jalal to Jo 😆

I'm with you! The performance was great, but I can't sympathise with Ruks at this stage. At least I'm glad that Lavina can pull these scenes off very convincingly and CVs do remember that there are more angles than just a one dimensional kartavya show. If they just put all the pieces together logically it would be great.

There is a difference between Qubool Hai kind of ratings and the ratings of a Diya Bhati or Jodha Akbar. They belong in different weight classes.

Glad you found it better than I did Sunny.

and as for spoilers ... I might secretly want a jolt to give it an edge... but that's just me.

Do we want fiction or some history - I'm a bit torn on this one.
