Gauahar Khan names her second son 'Farwaan', shares heartfelt post with Zaid Darbar

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar, who welcomed their second child on September 1, have revealed their baby boy’s name — Farwaan. The couple shared the first glimpse of the newborn on Instagram, where their elder son Zehaan is seen introducing his little brother by holding his tiny hand.

The post featured the baby dressed in a black-and-white striped outfit, wrapped in a blanket, while his face was kept away from the camera. Sharing the name reveal, Gauahar wrote, “FARWAAN ?? Zehaan introduces his little brother. Allahumma baarik lahu.”

Fans and friends quickly flooded the comments with blessings. A user wrote, “May Allah grant both the kids love and success,” while Anam Darbar commented, “Allah humma baarik lahu.” Actor Nakuul Mehta also sent love with a heart emoji alongside the baby’s name.

Gauahar and Zaid’s family journey

The actress married Zaid Darbar, son of music director Ismail Darbar, on Christmas 2020. They welcomed their first child, Zehaan, in May 2023. Earlier this month, Gauahar and Zaid announced their second son’s arrival with a heartfelt joint note: “Zehaan is overjoyed to graciously share his kingdom with his new baby brother, born on September 1, 2025. As grateful and giggling parents, we seek everyone’s continued love and blessings.”

Gauahar’s Bigg Boss 19 appearance

While enjoying the happiness of welcoming her newborn, Gauahar Khan also made an appearance on Bigg Boss 19 during Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan. During the episode, she addressed singer Amaal Mallik’s remarks about her brother-in-law Awez Darbar and strongly disapproved of them. Gauahar then turned to Awez, advising him to be more vocal and active in the game. She pointed out that if he failed to fight his own battles, nobody else would do it for him. She further reminded Awez that his family, including Zehaan and now baby Farwaan, were eagerly waiting for him outside.
