When they are watching the scene, they are not remembering the times Jalal's character was butchered ... They are just enjoying Jalal being a caring husband.

It is just a different way to view ... Neither is right or wrong though I tend to watch it in the overall context of the story like you

But I appreciate those who can only see the love between Jodha and Jalal and filter everything out

Jodha singing Lori was beautiful ,see she doesn't require prenatal classes to understand the importance of dailogue with the baby in the womb.Her eagerness to meet Jalal was good and tomm we might see her asking for kacche aam,imli and all.(who eats it by the way)
