Honestly Divi, Its your optimism that gave me hopes & kept me watching this serial for such a long time...But not anymore dear ! 🤢I completely lost it...Yet, I continue to watch this serial...you know why ?

My Friend's Mom : I know...Its a great historical show & I am a huge fan of this serial... Great story & screenplay...Brilliant acting by female lead...Good looking male lead...Grand War Sequences...

Me : ?????😕😕😕...what ?

( Now, I know why Ekta is adamant in butchering the character of Jalal😡😡😡)

I AM NOT WATCHING AN HISTORICAL ANYMORE...BUT A COMEDY SHOW CALLED JODHA AKBAR...

I MUST ADMIT THAT IT IS A FUN FILLED SERIAL WITH DIFFERENT COLORS OF VOMIT & DIFFERENT SIZES OF VILLAIN...LATEST BEING INCREDIBLE HULK FROM KABUL!

Hilarious conversation! I know a lot of people still love this show ... But, I would say that is not the reason Ekta has to butcher Jalal. I don't know if you read this post but I created a version of this war track where Jodha was just as strong but Jalal was not butchered: http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4101490

It is pure laziness- they are following the script of all their saas-bahu serials ... And not realizing the difference between a king and a husband. Just like in today's a leader cannot make decisions based on personal choices and needs to do his duty for his country first. I can understand Jalal forgiving Bakshi Bano who just attacked Jodha-Jalal more than I can understand Jalal forgiving Nigaar who attacked Todarmal, his people, his army,

I will tell you why I write these takes even now ...

- At the end of the Ben track when I thought Jalal had become an utter fool, he recovered in the magical night in the Angoori Bhaag with Jodha

- When I think that I am bored of Jodha always giving Jalal advice, she beautifully explains to Jalal why he should forgive Ruqs

- It is because even in the middle of Jalal moping and falling off his horse asking forgiveness from Jodha that I was worn out of ... There was the beautiful powerpoint presentation he showed when Maham Anga's truth came in front of him

It is these diamonds in the rough that I stick with this show ... And write these takes to keep me along.

I know you are referring to Sindhu among others- and she and others are sweethearts for how they love Akdha and Parijat.

But, I feel it is hard to generalize about real people based on their views of a reel story. For example:

What is love? Is it that you appreciate Rajat/ Paridhi no matter what the track is or hope Rajat / Paridhi get a better script that their strong acting deserves?

What is positivity? Is it saying no matter what happens it is good or finding something to like amidst the bad.

Everything is subjective. I feel Mandy truly loves Rajat but in a different way- she expects the most from him and wants him to have the best script possible supporting him and feels the same for Akbar as well. Sorry Mandy I am speaking on your behalf.

Everyone loves this show in different ways is what I see. Some show their love by praising it during all tracks and others show their love by wanting to see it in a better place.

If we didn't love this show ... We all wouldn't spend so many hours with it.

Hope you didn't mind but I wanted to share this for a while and felt this was a right place.

Jodha singing Lori was beautiful ,see she doesn't require prenatal classes to understand the importance of dailogue with the baby in the womb.Her eagerness to meet Jalal was good and tomm we might see her asking for kacche aam,imli and all.(who eats it by the way)

I actually liked the warmth in the lori scene a lot

Was looking forward for that Zagda part but didn't happen today.Even I was wondering that it was been ages that they didn't fight.Such fights are essential for the spice in relationship.Or marriage turns bland like a sick person's khichdi.

Let's see how the jagda plays out ... I hope it is chatpata from both sides

Gorilla man finding his heart will be such a good twist but then I think Jo will tie rakhi to him.That will move him.😳

She will sing "Bhaiya mere raakhi kein bandhan ko nibaana" and he will be flat 😆

You should read the Da Vinci code. Gripping, intriguing and interesting.😊

I've mostly been with books and never bothered with serials. But Jalal of earlier episodes cast a magic and I was irresistibly into JA. Hence my dump spirits when I see a dumb Jalal. It reminds me of the hours wasted. . But ofcourse on the brighter side I have made many friends on the forum. 😊
