as i said before nur was a skilled huntress of great prowess & her physical courage was witnessed when she once her self commanded a army to rescue her husband Emperor Jahangir 😊

They had intense competition with each other since JG ruled Jehangir's harem as Paadshaah begum but after Nur married him, the reins were given to her.

I really really feel sorry for these women. The richest in the world. Have the most exquisite clothes & jewellery but NO Love & no one to look after you when you're sick!!!! 😭

Not everyone can be a Noor Jahan, Mumtaz or a Jodha. 😭

in persian chronicles it is said they were rivals 😆 i read on a persian site that after nur jahangir marrige she comes to know GJ opposed her marrige & there were some bazzar gossip stories too GOD knows 😆

well but putting the history talks aside i found most of the writers portrayed nur as a scheming & power hungry woman that can be or i say is true but the other side of the story is that after the marrige nur life was also a battle of survival she was not from a royal family nor she bore any hire to jahangir

after her exile to lahore her life completly changed nur was well aware of the bitter facts in her own poetry she define all these things beautifuly which she lived & the upcoming happenings which she sensed

some lines by Empress Nur Jahan under the pen name Makhfi

Upon my grave when shall i die
No lamps shall burn No jasmine lie
No candle with unsteady flame
serve as a reminder of my fame

i've read her real grave(not cenotaph) is made in a manner that when the sun rise & set only that time the light falls on her grave

TFS 😊 she was indeed one of the rarest mughal empress who marked her name in history with her talent,deeds,intelligence n beauty. N her name says alot about his closeness with jahangir n jahangir's love for her.

It would be gud to see story on jahangir n nurjahan but not in any BTsoaps. R u left with enough courage to see butchering of these two great historic characters like Akbar??? EK will forget everything about jahangir n make him 24x7 busy in drinking.
