Aunty thanks for your advice. I am arguing on another thread with subject "Darpok !" and it seems we are just going round in circles no one wanting to understand the others point of view. I now have decided to stick to few threads which we think alike like yours off course.. But sometimes it frustrates over what they write on Jalal and it becomes difficult to remain quiet.

The mistake you all make, my dears, is to read so much across the forum. Tell me, what is the point of doing it? It gets your blood pressure up, it upsets you, and there is nothing you can do about it for there is no way of convincing those who are determined not to be convinced. It is a total waste of time.

Why do you not stick to my prescription and read only the threads of a few known writers? It will do you a lot of good.

As for this brand of feminism,. I suspect it is wish fulfillment, for the sort of thing that is very difficult to get in real life, a poodle type boyfriend. Let them write what they like, why do you bother about it? Rajat and his Jalal will continue to dominate the show. That is all that matters, and if Jodha can go back to her Kajri avatar, that will be sone pe suhaga!

As for Jodha "coming back to the palace", she never leaves it. The new promo is clearly in her hoojra. Maybe she overslept, after all the strain of staring at him for those 12 minutes,😉 and Jalal came rushing in before she had had time to pack her bags for the vanvaas. I am planning to stage a sit in in the Zee offices to protest against being deprived of the vanvaas, with all the nirdosh pashu pakshi welcoming their saviour, while Mohan's relatives plan to have her for dinner!😉

Oh no! I had expected some really viraha from both of them. I expect (may be too much from a specimen like Jodha ) that Jo should recollect all Jalal's goodness to her and his love and pine for him atleast for 1 episode (or kam se kam half😳) and Jalal should search for her in a spectacular horse ride and some sensational reconciliation in the backdrop of lush green forests and fragrant flowers. I really wish that the promo is some dream.
Alas! But Jodha may indeed require a day or two to pack her chamaks and dhamaks in trunks and set out for her vanvaas, enough time for Jalal to come rushing in and fall at her feet. Perhaps she also has Shaguni Bhai's ohm shreem creem hunar too.

Yes Jalal was the emperor but a cruel and heartless one, ek janwaar tha woh jisse insaan banaya Jodha ne. So there you go, he survived yes but learned to live like a human being only after Jodha came along in his life and taught him about all the virtues of life! 🥱

-Jalal forgave the king who helped his father before he married Jodha
-Jalal risked his life to save his handicapped friend in Amer prison before he married Jodha
-Jalal felt Zaheer's pain and stood for him against his own Khan Baba before he married Jodha
(not that he never felt for those below him)
-Jalal called his begum-e-khaas Ruqaiya to be questioned in court - such was his sence of justice
even before he married Jodha
-Jalal cared for his awaam, his riyaya before he married Jodha - he set out to Malwa to punish
AK who was treating his people badly.
- Jalal cried for the young Hindu boy and set his parents free -such was his compassion even
before Jodha began to have any influence on him.
- Jalal was one of those just and sensitive kings who had the greatness to reach out to Moti before
her death sentence to personally question her if she was innocent - this too was before Jodha
began to affect him.
-Jalal was one of those rarest kings who declared that he would rejoice even if his child was a girl,
even before Jodha began to affect him.
-Jalal can appreciate whatever is good, thank heartily and apologise whenever he is wrong in all
humility - things which Jodha is NEVER shown to do - so there is no way that he learned
these from her.

There is no instance in the entire serial so far where I have seen Jalal reforming his ways that were earlier bad, because of Jodha. Please tell me if there is any.

Most certainly he was not heartless. He only declared so as a mask to hide himself from possible heartbreaks - a fear ingrained into him due to a rough childhood where he yearned for his mother. No man who is heartless can weep for a dead ataliq with so much misery. No cruel man could value loyalty as much as jalal did even before this highly haloed lady came into his life.
The only thing Jodha has achieved is win his love for herself, which no other girl had managed so far. Good for her alone.
Whatever the CVs try to proclaim in words and redundant dialogues, this is the ultimate impression and truth that the serial subtley conveys. 😉

Sandhya this deserves to be a separate post by itself praising Jalal and his qualities as to why he ought to be a perfect husband material and most important of all the greatest ruler of that era, the deserving Emperor of the Mughal dynasty! Jodha is lucky to have a husband like him.

-Jalal risked his life to save his handicapped friend in Amer prison before he married Jodha

I cannot, and am not able to, describe your post, Mansi's post and Rajat's performance in words. Sometimes words fall short and maybe it is best to leave it like that.
All I can say about the episode is that Rajat's performance was stupendous and poor Paridhi, she was totally trapped in a script that belonged to Rajat. Now I know why she wanted to leave, the CVs are hopeless in making the actors explain what they exactly want. They could have got a lot more expressions from Paridhi who is a storehouse of talent.
Totally blown away 👏

This is exactly what I was thinking, does she have any liberty to voice her opinion, I wonder. Who knows what the director has in mind for poor Paridhi. I have noticed when she got a chance to show her talent she did not fail us.
I am really enjoying this thread the most. So many of you are really really perceptive and putting forth the effort. Definitely to me this show has given us the power house talent like Rajat Tokas. I don't even know how many times I watched the episode and felt the emperor's helplessness and wanted to shake Jodha up for sitting there wide eyed like a zombie. Any way, looking forward to next week's episode.

Aunty, What a nice post!!
And what a lovely take on Rajat's performance. He does an extremely good job of larger than life characters.
I shall be coming back to your post again with a longer reply. I am also thrilled to see you being the perfect host on your post .
As I said earlier too, you pen well and the best part is that length does not diminish quality at the end...
The post remains entertaining throughout.

Adi, Sandhya, When we read so much on forum about Jalal being abusive and his outburst was compared to Domestic violence and expecting that Jalal should run behind Jodha for his abusive behaviour and Jo should act pricey before coming back to palace all makes me go😔, I Fail to understand about this feminism theory.
****I completely agree Shyamala, we do mistake of reading every post and reacting to it, but it is just to know the views of other audiences as well, and what really amazes me is that, all the feminism's agenda is to have a husband/boyfriend who just needs to be lovelost poodle.😕. So, is it wrong if a man thinks that his wife needs to be a poodle as well?😆 I know it is off topic, but what a woman expects, a man also has the same right, after all, we are talking about equality right?

Shyamala the episode belonged to Jalaal pain, heart broken, feeling pity that he allowed it to happen.. Rajat lived & nailed the character Jalaal.Right from the saying his heart still wants to give her a chance, he who is shahansha has fallen for her, where the haram contain 500 women, where he left her child hood friend also & given her his heart and show broke it mercifully & for that GAIR MARD...

His outburst was justified & it increased when she kept silent even answer she knows that GAIR MARD from her childhood & loves him also...He was pity himself for being fooled by her, this hunar of her is also different... Jalaal outburst is wild even though felt bad for pulling her hair harshly & also giving dhakka to JO, his broken heart, pain that he is being cheated & was angry on himself, as he allowed her to do that is just superb...

But I just didn't like JO keeping silent, I can understand she has to keep the vachan and all, but when he accused her character , how can JO keep silent, just one angry look & say he is not GAIR MARD to her, but very much APNA to her, but now she can't share it...

Why CVS are dumping JO character.. This track showed more Jalaal trust & his pain.. But failed to concentrate on JO, CVS at least now at least concentrate on Jo character and show JO pain, how she couldn't say became numb, as she felt shock hearing from Jalaal, how still he unable to understand her, just told her to leave the palace...

I want CVS show Jo sharing her pain & last words to kahna before leaving the palace, I want her to leave the palace before Jalaal gets the truth...
