agree on everything u said! Jalal and Jodha have progressed so much and are still modest about their journey so far, barely admitting anything even to themselves. On the other hand, MA/Ruq have fallen down from grace but still trumpet about their perceived victories.

I wish the next time MA comes to ask Jalal about Jodha, he tells her that he knows how to handle things as a king and as a husband and that if he needs MA's advice, he will call her. I am getting tired of her "Jodha is pure but why is she meeting that man who can't be Sujamal" speech. Can't she see that she isn't getting any expected reaction from Jalal. She is better off instigating Ruq. - I was thinking that too jalal should be like I will call u when needed; i need some time alone.

Jodha and Jalal have progressed to single-minded dedication to each other's safety and well-being and happiness. They are immediately drawn to the other when the other is in a dilemma or turmoil. They can't bear to see the other in pain. They can't bear to live apart for long and find excuses to see each other. Look at how Jalal is going to check on her every night. Not out of distrust. But out of concern that she may be unsafe if venturing out alone at night.

(yesterday, I gave you one reason why Jalal won't send Jodha to Amer. Today, I give you 2 more:
1. He can't bear to be apart from her for even a day. So even the new spoiler you mentioned is highly doubtful.
2. He knows the guy is from Amer. He won't send her to Amer where she can meet that guy without his knowledge and probably run away with!)

Both Jalal and Jodha have found well-wishers in the form of HB and SB.
Both love Rahim as their own son.
Both like the same set of loyal people like Atga, Man SIngh and MH (so far).
Both are duty-conscious and put honesty and responsibility before their personal comfort.
Both value relationships and people and are highly tolerant and forgiving of the worst offenders.
Both want to set things right in the Sultanate even if it means going against established customs.
Both are unattached to auda. Jalal was ready to give up the throne to protect her right to remain a Hindu. She is ready to give up the harem warden position and even her life and honour to protect his life.

Two people from such diverse backgrounds who married for all the wrong reasons are today embarked on a beautiful journey in search of true love and happiness in spite of all the negative forces around them. Why do you say the 200th episode isn't great? A Rajvanshi who values her honour above everything is ready to stake that honour for the sake of her husband's life. An emperor with a harem full of beautiful women is ready to stake his manlihood by appearing to be weak enough to trust a seemingly cheating wife. 👏👏

Last point: I now think Jodha left the harem post to focus all her energies on protecting Jalal. If she had gone to him before resigning then he would have somehow persuaded her to continue as harem head. That's why she sprang it on him in public where he had no choice but to accept her decision.

PS: If we keep a pet also, we love it like our child. How can MA be so ruthless in hurting Jalal after having nursed him as a child? I hope she gets double the pain she has given him before she dies.

superb points. 👏

Awesome, Shraddha!!! I read your post on Jalal, too. It is just superlative.👏

When Jalal was hume laga humein hamamra humsafar mil gaya...humraaz etc..; I do not remember the entire dialogue, he was so hurt. I just want to give him hug.

Thanks and thanks for posting!

I had posted this yesterday in one of the threads regarding harem issue.

When Jodha was selected as Harem-in-charge; I was ok with it as long as Akdha could spend time together.
But, when I saw the precap of Jodha wanting to resign; I had posted this on Mansi's thread day before yesterday before watching yesterday's episode.

About harem issue, i feel jodha should not give up harem based on the reason that she has some personal problems going on. There are several reason for it. First, just because she has problems, she cannot forgot the responsibilities that came with her winning of trust of other begum and Jalal. Then there was no point of tarazu scene in which jalal encourages jodha. Second, so many begums hopes were on her. Third, if she wants to give up harem bec of SB's advice then She should say that she wanted to abolish slavery on harem and she did and that was the reason she wanted to be in charge of harem. Her motive is fulfilled. Then it is understandable if she wants to resign but then she should also give this responsibility to someone who is responsible like SB or GB. If ruq is in charge again ,then she will behave just like before.

If Jodha wanted to resign, then she should have picked better reason and better timing. Now, I am worried that people like MA can give different meaning to this resignation.

Agreed- the personal problems was a very weak reason especially when she told her husband she had no issues! Well said! Luckily MA didn't link leaving the harem with the stranger when she talked to Jalal. The little mercies CVs make on us.

Now back to today's episode, I really like salima and her advices. But, I am little confused about what she had said before harem elections that Jodha is better bec she can understand women and emotions etc and now same Salima said that this is not for her. So, she just wanted Jodha to clear the mess but what about when there will be mess when Ruq will run again or is now Ruq going to run better bec she saw how harem women did not want Jodha to resign and so just to show she is best; ruq will handle better than before I assume.

I think CVs are new tempering with Salima as well in their inconsistencies ... It was like her voting for Ruqs. However, her rationale was better said in the sense that the murkiness was due to slavery, with that gone what was left was the surface murkiness that can never be cleaned. At least that made more sense.

I totally agree with you that Jalal and Jodha have come so far in their journey.

Yes!

I am going to paste what I wrote about this current track on some other thread.

Thanks for sharing!

I am really happy that Jalal trusts Jodha and is worried just about her safety. I have been worried about MU since sujamal track and hate MU in general anyway. Earlier I was worried that Jalal will misunderstand Jodha but he TRUSTS her a lot as shown in last two -three episode.👏 But, now I am worried that Jodha will misunderstand Jalal when he questions her according to promo. So, apparently I should be worried about MU either way.It looks like Jalal will be hurt that he is not able to win Jodha's trust and Jodha will be hurt that Jalal is not trusting her and doubting her. so either way there is misunderstanding. In this case, neither of them is wrong.

This is not a MU as long as the two talk about it ... Jodha may be in anguish as she cannot tell the truth but if she gets upset Jalal distrusted her ... I am not sure if I will buy that ... As she has done some odd activities for a queen. If Jalal trusts Jodha's intentions, the ultimate trust test for Jodha is she understands Jalal's intentions and what is driving his frustration,

I really wished Sujamal did not ask her for vachan. Jodha is already feeling guilty and feeling she is doing "PAAP" by hiding from Jalal. I don't blame jodha becuase she is vachan -bound and as rajvanshi she will not break promise of her brother even if it meant harm to her or her relationship with jalal or to her prestige/dignity. But, I do not blame Jalal either because he trusted Jodha and is worried about her and asked her patiently if there is problem. So if he gets mad at her and ask her what is going on then it is understandable as long as it is between them and not public. They can fight inside their hojra and vent their frustrations and bring out passion, anger etc. I hope it remains private. But, I do not know if it will remain private or not because MA knows and now Ruq knows she goes out due to hoshiyaar.

The fight will remain private ... First change since ben track, Jalal has not gone either to MA or Ruqs directly. I also do not think the show will show future MUZ maligned to meet a stranger. A
Ready done that in fake pregnancy track.

I just hope Jodha does not misunderstand that Jalal is doubting her character and hope jalal tells her that he is not doubting her character but just worried about her safety. I do not want Jodha to be sent to Amer either. Jalal and Jodha needs to learn to solve their problems amongst themselves and neither of them cannot just decide ok she should go to amer whenever a big problem comes up. Due to vachan, Jodha cannot tell Jalal she met sujamal but Moti can save her by telling Jalal or may be Jodha can tell Jalal that person is helping her to find a traitor in palace who is trying to kill her husband but she cannot reveal the name of helper bec she is vachan-bound.

If Jodha misunderstands Jalal, has she not failed the trust test? Does she trust Jalal? That question came to my head so would love if folks had answers!

As an Akdha fan, as long as they are together and be a team against other enemies, I am ready for upcoming episodes. But, MU either from Jalal or Jodha, I will be heartbroken. I want them to have trust on each other as in be open to each other about things before they confess their love.

Jalal's trust is there ... Now it is Jodha's turn. At least now Jalal shares his pain with her instead of being mean like in Ben track. When you talk, you can only have a fight and not a MU.

Today, Jalal even said that it might be Sujamal but MA is so sly and sneaky that she keeps insisting she belives Jodha is paak saaf but at same time keeps poisoning Jalal's mind. Gosh, I hate her. Please, Jalal keep thinking that it might be Sujamal or investigate urself and if needs to be just go in Jodha room and vent ur frustrations and tell her u saw her with a man but u're not doubting her character and is worried about her safety. Whatever Jodha and Jalal, u guys do please do it privately- fight, yell, scream, argue whatever IN PRIVATE.

It will be in private- he has not even told Atgah.

For god's sake, CVS please wrap this track by end of next week. I cannot see my Akdha in pain who are so worried for each other yet not able to share their worries and I am not able to tolerate this track either. One thing I am happy about is that at least in this track, BOTH ARE DOING THINGS OR GETTING WORRIED FOR EACH OTHER and NOT TO HURT OTHER.

Yes, it is for each other ... Hence, both are not wrong. However, I wish Jodha told him something more comforting - like Shraddha's dialogue. Her silence is killing him.

P.S. Neither of them are wrong in this case so when I read posts like I am with Jodha or I am with Jalal; I am like comeon when Jalal is saying he trusts Jodha and is worried about her safety and when Jodha is saying she is doing paap by hiding stuff but she is majboor and even Jalal thinks she is in some dabaav, when both of them are worried for each other, then why take sides 😳. No intention of hurting anyone with this P.S.. 😊

We are with Akdha!

P.P.S- Can I please decide the punishment for MA? It will slow, painful, and very torturous that she will beg for death. 😡

A lot of people in line for this... She will see her dear son die before her ... What is a worse punishment for hurting Jalal who views her as his mother?

P.P.P.S- Divya, sorry for long post. I am not able to post everyday in ur thread so thought "ke pre week ki kasar puri kardoona"lol

Never apologize for posting ... Loved it! Guess it will be my Friday treat!

After watching yesterday's episode, it feels like Jodha doesn't even understand what Jalal is going thru, she is thinking about his life being in danger and what is the need for her to go out again? Can't she see the pain in Jalal's eyes? She would always say that, "hum toh aapko itna toh Jaante hain" now, she only notices him not questioning, but no efforts to sort the issue? At least can't she tell him by words that, u can trust me and I can't tell u whom I m meeting? She talks so much about "karat ya", but saving Jalal's life is her only goal of life, but not his sentiments??

My heart went out through and through and through to Jalal...

Ever since the Ben incident, Jalal's been asking question after question after question after question ...teasing her about the dhakka to get her to retort...pleading with her to get something out...hoping she'd say something during the many times he's asked 'what's going on in your mind'...holding her hand to see if she'd accept his gestures...showing and voicing his support as a friend...advising her when she's low...TELLING her she can trust him...showing his hurt - EVERYTHING!
The guy is suffering evidently and visibly. Its literally eating him up that she wouldn't trust him enough.
As far as I'm concerned at this point, he's made up for all the atrocities he's committed during the Ben kaand! After those 2 day tears in the dargah, I wasn't as moved as I'm today...at this point the kind of internal hurt he's swallowing every second that she doesn't speak up is tormenting! The fact that he's coming up with all sorts of theories (and today he hit the jackpot too) to pacify to his mind/heart is heart-warming! Even if we saw our best friend beginning to meet up with someone else and trying to coverup those meetings (for whatever reason), we'd start feeling insecure/jealous/possessive whatever after a certain point of time! This is his wife!
U almost spoke my mind. Infact I remember to have commented in ur thread then that I wasn't convinced then. But today my crocodile tears did come when he told the line to her before leaving angoori bagh abt how he wish he had trusted her.
If not, she'd have shown the same trust by a bit of retrospect 'If I told him about Sujamal, he wouldn't raise his sword at once...he would hear me out...let me give him this benefit of doubt...'
Also, it's not like she doesn't know of the number of enemies Sujamal has... her own father possibly hates him as much as Jalal himself does...so, if her father was in battle against Sujamal would she still be meeting up with him at nights? Maybe... but, after a point doesn't make much sense and is not ethical either. She is a queen and she'd know that they're not the first pair of siblings that have been split up in politics - not then, not today!
She has errored, no doubt. Her fear for his well being is blinding her.The vacchan part I wont even go there as I find it as absurd as anyone else. Also the part about going thrice to meet sujamal is beyond my comprehension.
This is getting too painful to watch - but, this drama is far far far better than the MC, Fake pregnancy or the Ben kaand because it shows where both of them stand in their relationship now...
All these high-drama tracks ran low on logic.. but, at least this one has a proper husband-wife vendetta! 😊
I'm not saddened by the track - I'm saddened by the anguish Jodha and most of all, Jalal is going through!
Can I say how much I loved the above lines? I cam eback to the post to read it again.
Yes, Ditoo

I like the way you think! If Jodha goes to the woods, I think it will be because she does not know how to deal with the situation.

Abhay and Adi have made some great comments on MA's downfall. She will also see her son die before her.

Thanks again- great post!

Agreed she did not want power ... I wish she had said exactly that when she left the post ... She did not want power just wanted to abolish slavery- now that is done, I do not want a power I do not want instead of citing personal reasons.

Gem- you are a better spokesperson for Jodha than Jodha herself!

Thanks and thanks for posting. Yes, love all the responses 😊

Yes, our hearts do go out to Jalal. Not only because Jodha is not being truthful with him, or not even because MA is trying to use even this issue to manipulate him (I mean that lady did not even spare his unborn child, what else could you expect), but for me it is because he feels he is alone again.

Beautifully said ... He feels very lonely.

That's how he felt during Ben track too. But then he didn't know what the companionship or love was. Now he knows that his heart beats. It speaks of and for Jodha. After being showed glimpses of truly tantalizing future, he feels that it was a but mirage. May be that hurts more than anything. He repeatedly said yesterday "Hamne jise kareebi samaza..." May be that is at the base of all his misery.

It definitely it is!

Many feel that Jodha is a victim of circumstances. To an extent, yes. But then let's not forget she's a one resourceful lady. She could give an artful solution to Jalal-Ruk divorce issue. She could get child marriage law passed. She even got Not-So-Sharif-uddin out of the jail. She pushed Jalal to re-consider his stance on behavior with his Praja and even towards his Bandi's. True final decisions always were made by Jalal. But Jodha was the catalyst in each and every situation. Suddenly she is becoming a victim of circumstances. Small instance. But during Ajmer trip, when Jalal made her promise she would not say anything to free him from Daroga, she didn't, but she stopped the Daroga from thrashing Jalal. But suddenly she has become clueless. She is just moving with the winds. I mean, a little practicality could be shown as one of her Hunars. How in the name of God, does she expect to unmask the in-house conspirator and save Jalal (with the help of Sujamal, no doubt, who by the way does not leave in the palace) !!

The CVs have done injustice to Jodha in this track- absolutely right, she can be smart! Love the whipping example. I also loved the Not-so-sharif 😊

Jodha has bestest intentions. She ultimately wants to remove the threat to Jalal's life. But means to an end matter too. If this is hurting Jalal more than anything, then should she not reconsider it at least once. She can't be that blind to his misery. He has said he will always believe her. He has repeatedly asked if she has something to tell him. But Jodha is missing all the clues. God knows why!! (or rather CV's know J)

I am not mad at Jodha ... Just know she could have done better!

Will it be fair if we expect Jalal to keep on repenting on his past mistakes? Keep giving a benefit of doubt to Jodha because of last grand gesture. Nobody is denying that, that gesture was indeed quite selfless. But one can't simply live off of past glories.

He has learned from his mistakes for sure ... But I don't blame him if his frustration and loneliness explodes soon.

One more point, even if it's her beloved cousin, he is an enemy of the state. Even if she can't rejoice in his capture (or may can't even aid his capture), shouldn't her loyalties are little tilted this time? After all, this is the same Jodha, who told her Bapusa that "Mughal Sultanat ki Beghum" won't be able to forgive them for deceiving and hurting her in-laws. (How glorious she looked there!!) She is crying over the fact that she is hiding the truth from her husband. But is that enough?

It is only because Sujamal saved her husband's life, I think she is fine.

It's really sad to see these two soul-mates going through this much pain, this much misery. (I am sorrier for Jalal though) . What makes it worse is this could have been avoided, quite easily too..

Btw, was it really a 200th episode? Wasn't too different than 199th or 198th one...
It is like their love story ... Slow and gradual!

My dear Divya,

I must compliment you on this very gentle, optimistic, understanding and warm-hearted post. Because of my eye problems, I read next to nothing in the forum these days, and I was not able to go thru your earlier instalments of this series though you had kindly PMed me. But I did not want to miss this one.

My take on most of your 5 points is different, at times very different from yours, and I do not propose to inflict my counter-views on you and your readers. I can see that your threads are meant to be positive by definition, and if possible celebratory, and from that point of view, all that you have written here makes sense. But that is not my point of view, not that it matters.

However, your post, my dearest Lashy's response, and that of my favourite maverick Adiana alone would be enough to make this thread more than worthwhile, indeed special.

I miss the generous and lyrical optimism of Vicki (MoronsKiMallika), the sober good sense and the balanced approach to all issues of Meghana, both of whom seem to have been driven away by the inanities of the plot these days. I too, though I am neither endemically optimistic nor generous in condoning faults in the characters, am also almost on my way out, being bored and irritated by the goings on these days.

However, I see that for the romantics in this forum, your daily threads must be a welcome refuge.

Once again, my warm congratulations, and I am sure you will keep up the good work!

Shyamala Aunty
