Why not give HK the reigns of the kingdom for a month and ask him to run it...let's see what happens...and how many days he can keep it up with this 'aakhir they're in love' stance? Made no practical sense at all...

That HB scene was really ridiculous...

Lashy dear since u r a tamilian I will add this saying - aayiram poi soliyum oru kalyaam pannalam. This is an old saying and is valid both in North India and South India.

Yes today we do say that it is better to tell all the relevant facts before but even today we have families that hide facts to ensure good marriages for their children. Aur yeh toh 16th Century hai. So in practice BM did not do anything wrong.

But as they say it never pays to lie and so this lie got caught like all such lies do. In this case it was lucky it happened before the marriage but in such cases such lies get caught after the deed is done leading to lifelong bitterness.

Nice analysis Lashy! Am yet to watch the episode but you made complete sense that they should have spared the Amer gang in all the mess.

Of what I've read from links pasted here -from archives and the sort...Ameris and jalal had a very cordial and trusting relationship...I don't think any such issue happened between them...
If anything, jalal used to trust the Ameris more than members in his own family and they remained a loyal lot to him forever...even if they continue to redeem the Ameris, this will be a blot on their character that cannot be erased...this is more or less like the current typical Saas Bahu twist.,..not suiting the era or clan- where the Rajputs were known to keep their word of honour!

According to history, hakim mirza and Akbar were never on friendly terms...I'm guessing that's the path the serial is going to take too...we'd guessed this Shivani fiasco was going to be the cause, but it look alike it's going to be something else for now...
Thanks dear...

i agree, even i have read about jalal and Ameris having a good realationship...in this case the writers, i believe are playing with fire...as it is almost impossible for me to view Raja Bharmal in the same light again, no matter how much he redeems himself. i'm hoping this doesn't end up in a mess...or prehaps the cvs redeem themselves by showing the second half of Raja Bharmal's story which he left out, in which Shivani came to him and apologised for falling in love with someone from a lower status...

she then goes on to asking him for permission to visit Jodha as she needs some space to get over her relationship with the karigar...Raja Bharmal, thinking that all is good sends her to Agra and later on, upon hearing of the Hakim proposal is delighted...as she will atleast marry someone from the upper class...

wishful thinking i know but i doubt the cvs are going to go into details... 😆

Nice analysis Lashy. Overall, I found the episode quite good. Somehow I saw very clear parallels with the justice with Bakshi Bano today as even Hakim briefly alluded to. There Jodha had officially forgiven Bakshi Bano but Jalal had personally severed ties with her. Here the Ameris were officially forgiven but Jodha personally criticizes them. While it may seem unrealistic, I found there to at least be consistency with the Bakshi Bano case. And that was also an insult to the Mughal shaan as Jalal had to face the public.

True...I did...that's what I mentioned too...that thankfully Jalal didn't forgive him...that's why the glorification of HK to show it like Jalal has remained equally just...😆
The one thing that I liked was they showed Jalal did not come up with decision to forgive-he more listened to the victim-Hakim Mirza- just as he did Jodha with Bakshi Bano and Ruks with Adam Khan.

One good sign is to resurrect the leads the CVs are now ruining only more side characters 😉
😆 Everyone has their day with this serial😆

Now what is left to be seen is how Jalal ends up announcing his wedding to Ben ... It makes no sense for someone who is shown with so much intuition. At this point, it may be to prove to himself or
Ruks that he has no heart.
Tell me Bout it! Makes no sense from this point onwards 😕

Given how Akdha starved we are, I was surprised you did not refer as much to the Jodha and Jalal interaction today. I actually found it different from prior scenes as the words were silenced out and it was only the emotions and bgm that was shown- perhaps that is why I felt Rajat and Paridhi excelled here.
Hmmm...i wasn't too impressed with Bharmal taking the fall, so I was in a bit of shock through it all...
I think i might have to watch the episode again...😳

Nice Analysis!!! 😊 I am skeptical these days is this really a historical show 😕 every character from Hakim,HB to Amer Family is butchered so badly in order to show Jalal as a perceptive ruler and Jodha as honest begum of sultanate that I did not feel like cheering up for Jalal and Jodha 😔 If this is how they are trying to elevate the leads by degrading others then we should once again call Zee and bash them 😆😆

but, I don't think the Ameris were so...and so, they need not have portrayed them thus...😕

Ameris were very loyal to Akbar in history. Even in case of Akbar's pyscho grandson, they helped him. Through out history, Ameris had always a close tie to the Mughals. Akbar trusted them most than any other people, but now i don't know what the show is trying to say? I am up all for fiction, and all, but not to the point they distort to point which goes beyond limits.

Conducting a marriage while risking your older daughters wedding makes no sense...I can understand if it was done in a new family...
Rajputs have been shown (and Bharmal himself) of priding themselves in their zubaan, aan, baan and shaan...this form of deceit (though not in the same league as other treacheries in the show doesn't befit them...esp not against a SIL who's been supportive of them after the MC kaand...
This is after all real historical characters we are talking about😆 So they shouldn't do so much of gad bad with character portrayal

Actually shweta, jalal and Jodha themselves have been butchered the most 😆 If nothing else...
The only persons who've remained consistent from the start are adham and javeda 😆

After what they have done to Akbar's character what does it matter what they do to the rest of the characters!!!
