Chapter3-I hate you

Part1

By now jodha's family had reached jalals palace.all the palkis were made to stop outside the main court.a huge group of people stood there,awaiting the guests.everyone was given a warm reception as they progressively came out of their palkis.hameeda bano gave everyone a traditional Hindu welcome to make them feel comfortable.as she moved towards the last palki-the one which was supposed to carry jodha-to welcome the last rajvanshi princess,she was surprised as nobody came outside.mainavati got tensed thinking of it as jodha's tantrum .she walked towards the palki and drew the cloth apart.

Marketplace

Returning towards the palace,jalal was still lost in jodha's thoughts.how could be let her go without asking her name?.how could he not follow her?he was angry with himself but he could not do anything as everybody was staring at him in the market place.after all he was a king not some ordinary person.

Before he realised they had already reached the palace.he got down from his horse and asked everybody to give him and atgah sahb a moment of silence.

Jalal-atgah Sahab hum us mohatarma ke bare mein jaana chahte hain Jo Hume bazaar mein Nazar aayi

Atgah-Ji huzoor

Jalal-aur dhyan farmaiye ki is ki khabar kisi ko na hoye.

Jalal proceeded towards the court where everyone was expected to assemble.

Mainavati was worried to see the palki empty.she rushed to her husband and said

Mainavati -jodha ki palki to khali hain

Raja bharmal-kya yeh kaise ho sakta hain

Raja Bharmal asked the guards who lifted jodha's palki if she left it or not.they did not know anything and asked for forgiveness

Sukunya and shivani-baapu sa Hume atyant chinta ho rahi hain.jiji sahi salamat to hoyengi.

Hameeda-aap sab chintit na hoye.aap ki beti bilkul surakshit hoyengi.aap sab andar darbaar mein chaliye.hum shehenshah se masalat karte hain

They all entered the court followed by jalals entry.

Hameeda told jalal about the entire incident.jalal ordered for his soldiers to search the entire city and jungles for raja bharmals daughter.jalal asked Bharmal not to worry and assured him that his daughter would be safe.

Finally after all the walking and trotting jodha had finally reached the palace.she was stopped at the gate by two guards who asked why she was there.

Guard1-aap ka kya parichay hain.aur aap yahan kis leyi aayi hain

Jodha-humara nam jodha hain aur hum raja bharmal ki suputri hain.aap andar yeh elan karaye ki hum aye hain

Gaurd2-Ji huzoor parantu hum aapko badshah ke hukm ke bina andar nahi jaane de sakte.

Jodha-theek hain

A servant walked into the court where everyone was assembled and said

Servant-huzoor koi aurat-apne aap ko raja Bharmal ki beti bata rahi hain-mehel mein pravesh karna chahti hain.manzoori hain?

Jalal-unhe fauran yaha laya jaye.

Servant-Ji huzoor

Jodha entered the court and even before jalal could see her all the rajvanshis surrounded her.something in jalal wanted to see her face.he tried catching a glimpse of her but in vain.after sometime when everyone was satisfied to find jodha alright and unscathed,they moved back to their respective places.jodha still stood there and was now able to see jalal.she did Pranam to him to which he did not respond.

Jalal was shocked.he did not know that the girl whom he had seen in the market was raja bharmals daughter.he kept on looking at her and her beauty.he could see her so well for the first time.her innocent doe like eyes made him go crazy.he looked at her from top to bottom when suddenly he heard a voice.

Chapter 3 part 2

Jalal was made to come back to his senses by hameeda who did not miss jalal staring at jodha.she smiled to herself and said

Hameeda-jalal agar apka hukm ho to hum kuch nazrane prastut karna chahte hain.

Jalal-beshak ammi jaan.hum bhi yahi soch rahe the.

Jalal (to servant)-ammijaan ke chune huye nazrano ko prastut kiya jaye.

The servant nodded his head in approval and went out

All this while jalal kept stealing looks at jodha.jodha too looked at jalal a few times but for a different purpose altogether .she was observing jalal very well.she had to start thinking about a plan before it was too late.

The servant re- entered the court with several other servants.all of them had thalis in their hands with gifts sitting atop.

Seeing this Hameeda stood up and asked jalal to give everyone their gifts.

The rajvanshis stood up one by one,collected their gifts and thanked both Hameeda and jalal.now it was jodha's turn for receiving her gift.she walked up to jalal and put her hands forward.jalal took the thali from hameeda and put it in jodha's hand.it was a green outfit with a heavy neck piece..he did not move his eyes from her face.jodha could see jalal looking at her and felt a bit uncomfortable.she looked down ,avoiding jalals face.jalal deliberately touched jodha's hand while giving her gift.jodha was puzzled and looked up meeting his eyes.her eyes grew double in size as she looked at jalal.jalal laughed in his head,quite happy to see jodha's reaction.jodha snatched the thali from his hand and moved back to her seat.

Raja bharmal also presented some gifts to the Mughals.after a good one hour of exchanging gifts ,hammeda asked everyone to rest for a while.

Hameeda-Hume lagta hain ki ab sabko thodi der aaram karna chahiye.aur khaas kar shivani ko.(shivani was not paying attention to hameeda.she was in her own world,looking here and there for mirza.

Jalal- zaroor. Jaane se pehle hum aapko yah batana chahte hain ki aaj sham ek jashn manaya jayege,mirza aur shivani ke nigah ki khushi mein jisme sabhi ko shamil hona hain.

Everyone agreed and took jalals leave .hameeda asked a servant to escort everyone to their rooms.the court was dismissed and jalal decided to follow jodha.

Everybody had descended to their respective rooms except jodha.she could not rest knowing that she had a big duty to perform.she was moving back and forth,thinking what to do when jalal appeared.this left jodha surprised.

Jalal-adab raj kumari.apne hojre ko chod aap bahar kya kar rahi hain.

Chapter 3 part 2 continued

Jodha- kya matlab hai aapka. (Angry tone)

Jalal-kher chodiye ye bataiye ki aapko apna tohfa kaisa laga

Jodha thought to herself:ye insaan to humse baat kare jaa raha hain.aise to hum inhe krodhith kaise karenge.hume kuch to karna hoga.

Jalal-bataya nahi aapne rajkumari.

Jalal-bilkul nahi.aapka tohfa humein bilkul nahi bhata.hara rang bhi koi rang hota hain.mugalon ka hota hoga rajvanshiyon ka nahi.humein to mughalon ka kuch nahi bhata.isse acha to yeh hota ki aap hume tohfa hi nahi dete.

Jalals anger had reached its peak.how could she have the audacity to disapprove of his choice in front of him?how could she talk to him in that tone?

Jalal(loud and stern)- aap janti hai ki aap ye kiske saamne Bol rahi hain?

Jodha(casual tone)-Ji haan.parantu hume kisi ka bhay nahi hain.humne jo kaha sach to kaha.

Jalal was about to say something when jodha cut him

Jodha-ab hum chalte hain.sandhya hone se pehle vishram karna hain.

Jalal was boiling with anger.

Jalal(to himself)mughalon ki tauhin karkar aapne acha nahi kiya rajkumari.iski keemat to hum le kar ra henge.

On the other hand,jodha was elated to see him boiling with anger.it was her first successful effort in irking jalal.she was extremely happy and was dancing back to her room whilst a pair of eyes looked at her.

Chapter 4 -another admirer

Thank you so much for all the comments.this is a very short update.not very important but just building up the story.

Jodha was moving back to her room when she saw a pair of eyes looking at her.she looked at him but could not recognise him.she had never seen him before.the person turned his eyes away from jodha as she turned towards him.jodha was disgusted and rushed to her room.

Inside jodha's room

Jodha-is rajya mein kaise log rehte hain?mehamanon ke saath sahi vyavahar bhi nahi karna jaante.khair hume abhi apne kary par dhyan dena chahiye.shehensah jalaluddin humari baat se krodhith to the parantu ye kaafi nahi hain.hume kuch aur karna hoga.

After having a hearty look of jodha,shareeffudin was in awe.he found jodha extremely pretty .although he had a wife,he could not love her.he had only married her to get a respectable post in the kingdom.it was all part of his plan.he was a shrewd and conniving person who could do anything to achieve his goals.after looking at jodha he intended to marry her.he decided to talk to jalal soon about his thought.he knew that jalal would never be able to say no as their religion permits them to do so.a smile crossed his face and he continued thinking about jodha

Jalal was greatly upset by jodha's rudeness.nobody could insult him not even his own mother then how could a mere princess do so.

Jalal-humari tauheen karkar aapne acha nahi kiya jodha.agar humara aapke parivaar se sambandh na judne waala hota to hum aap ko kadi saza dete.

(Smiles)-aapki beizzatti ka jawab hum aapke tarike me denge

Jalal calls a servant and asks him to tell his ammi jaan that he wants to meet her.the message is conveyed and soon hameeda walks into jalals room

Hameeda-jalal tum humse kya baat karna chahte ho

Jalal-ammijaan hum ye chahte hain ki aaj ke jashn mein saare rajvanshi humara diya tohfa pehne.

Hameeda-jalal hum unhe ye kaise keh sakte hain.ye to unki marzi hain.

Jalal-hum samajhte hain ammijaan par hume nahi lagta ki isse kisi ko koi aapati hoyegi.

Hameeda nodded and left jalals room.shr thought that perhaps jalal wants to see jodha in his favourite colour.

The message was conveyed and nobody had any objection to it.finally when jodha was told about it she sulked.

Jodha-koi insaan apne shehanshah hone ka aisa faida kaise utha sakta hain.iska yeh matlab hain ki hume kuch aur karna hoga.
