Chapter 5-how dare you
Jodha had an idea running in her head.she had to trouble jalal.she had to make him realise that she was no slave who would obey his rules.she picked up the green outfit and walked out of her chamber.

Jalal had just attended a session of diwaan-e-khaas and was returning to his palace alone when he spotted jodha.he was still angry with her but he could not overlook her beauty.she was wearing a baby pink dress with a big set of jewellery.
Jodha also saw jalal and thanked kanha as she wanted to see him but did not know how.she walked closer to jalal with the green outfit in her hand and then stopped.
A flame was burning in a stand next to her.she looked at jalal and smiled scornfully.she moved the outfit from her right hand,sliding it in front of jalals face and threw it in the fire.even before jalal could realise what had happened ,the outfit was devoured by the fire.
Jalal was full of wrath.he held jodha's wrist tightly,not letting jodha move.jodha tried to pull her hand away but jalals strong hold was not easy to break.jalal pulled jodha close to him and made her turn towards the flame.
Jalal(at top of his voice)-aapne humare diye tohfe ko aag mein phekne ki himakat kaise ki.apne aap ko kya samajhti hain aap.
Jodha(struggling with her hand)-hume jaane dijiye.humara hath chodiye.(she was scared but tried to keep her as calm as possible)
Jalal-na hi hum aapka haath chodenge na hi yahan se jaane ki ijazat denge.(screaming) hume hamare sawaal ka jawab chahiye.
By now jalals grip on her hand had grown stronger.he pressed it between his fingers mercilessly giving immense pain to jodha.
Jodha-aap hume chot pahucha rahe hain.(she screamed in pain)
Jalal-aur aap ke shehanshah ke sabr ko.
A tear fell out of jodha's eyes melting jalals heart in a minute.he could not hurt someone who looked so innocent.he let go of jodha's hand and saw it turn blood- like red.he instantaneously felt sorry.his anger abated but did not go.
Jodha-(with a strong and powerful voice)-yahi aata hai mugalon ke shehanshah ko.bal prayog.bahut gussa aa raha hain na ki humne aapka tohfa aag mein daal diya.sunna chahenge ki humne ye kyun kiya.hum aapko ye samjhana chahte hai ki hum aapke gulam nahi hai jo wahi kare jo aap chahe.hume jo pasand nahi aata hum wo nahi karte.
She did not care to listen to jalal and left.jalal stood there alone sulking in his anger.

Mahamanga,jalals badi ammi,witnessed the entire scene before her eyes.she saw jodha disparage jalal.she was beyond angry.
Mahamanga- resham tumne us rajvanshi rajkumari ki zabaan suni.jalal se aaj tak kisi ne aise baat nahi ki.
Resham-Ji wazir-e-Aliya.lagta hain kisi ka khauf nahi hain.
Mahamanga-lagta hain apni tehzeeb Amer bhul aayi hain.jaanti nahi ki inki behen ka nigah hone waala hai Mughal khandaan mein.lagta hain ki maza chakhana hoga
Resham-aap kahi ye nigah to nahi tod dengi
Mahatmanga-nahi resham hum to kuch mazedaar karenge
