Bashing Jodha-Jalal of serial is fine but why question the loyalties of these historical legends and their families ? This is just not fair..lets stick to the serial characters when venting out our frustration and let the real ones rest in peace 😉

BTW, Not only Indian History but FOREIGN accounts have written a lot on her. She is the only wife of Akbar, who is mentioned so much in the texts.

BTW...

Even today, the farmans / parwanas / edicts, which she issued are STILL preserved, with the ORIGINAL WAX seal of the Mughal Sultanate INTACT..!!... Had it been possible for me, i would have clicked the pictures of those EVIDENCES and posted THEM HERE AS WELL.😛

if such things can not be posted here. Lemme tell, She was Akbar's "ONLY QUEEN", who got palaces, where-ever Akbar built massive forts..!..(Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Allahabad, Lahore..)..These palaces are self-sufficient in DEMONSTRATING her existence.

A mosque built by her OWN son, Jahangir exists in Lahore named - Mosque of Mariam Zamani Begum Sahiba. That is one of the BIGGEST mosques in Pakistan.
I think no Mughal ruler built such a BIG religious place in the HONOUR of his mother.

Finally, Akbar would not have constructed so MANY palaces for his wife(when ALL other wives resided in HAREM only.!!..), if he had NO passionate/love feeling for her.

Also, if there is a MIS-conception that she got so much importance AFTER giving birth to Salim. Then, kindly correct this also.

1. Her Palace of Agra, construction commenced in 1563-4.(though, Salim was born in 1569..!..)
2. The title of Mariam-Uz-Zamani was given after Salim's birth. BUT, Before Salim's birth also, Akbar bestowed a honorific title on her. Check this link

So, this MYTH of importance after Salim's birth is baseless.🤢. This "LINE" is actually written in a book by a foreign author(dont want to write the name here)😆, and from there it went on wikipedia, then on countless FAKE stuff spewing websites on INTERNET, and finally in the minds of all the people.. Seriously, its quite easy to mislead.!😕.
Content on digital media is highly manipulated for communal and commercial reasons.!.

And, a son would not have constructed a separate BIG mosque in the honour of his mother, if she was not respected by him. Afterall, no Mughal ruler constructed such a big religious place like this for his mother .!.

After reading all this, i feel the MIS-conception of Akbar and her relation being FICTION, will be dispelled. It is NOT FICTION..😊...And, after reading these infos, it won't take Rocket Science to decipher THEIR relation..!..

Even I used to be very skeptical of Jodha Akbar story .I don't know if there was epic love, but i can tell you this. Akbar had something with MUZ that did not have with any of this wife. That special relationship forged not because she gave birth to Salim, but it had always been there. She was more than his mother's heir. She was special companion in spirituality, and his visions. I mean he gave her the title of Wali Namat ( which meant Gift from God ) before she even gave birth to Salim. That title itself speaks a lot, and everywhere he went he had to make sure there was a palace for her. The fact that his chamber were always close to hers. Come on, there was something between those. The day Komal told me to stop looking in to biased articles,and articles mostly on Internet, but start with google books. I just could not believe what i had found. You might not find as much as Abhay, but does . Still, it will give you a fair idea i think.

This is confusion compounded.

Akbar, in history was a king, par excellence, a great warrior, a great administrator, a person who sought secularism in an era when religion defined a person. I adore him for his achievements and don't care about his love interests or his wives.

Let us let him rest in peace and limit our discussions and bashings and adorations to the serial. But yes, when the Emperor's name is used for the serial, the makers should keep up certain standards in Jalal's characterisation. Else they deserve to be bashed badly.

Agreed Dear...😊.Hugely confusing as people are getting tangled between Reel and Real...😃
But this is also a fact that Akbar as shown in the serial HAD certain flaws which are common to Human race...But HIS GREATNESS LIES IN THE FACT THAT HE OVERCAME THOSE FLAWS AND EMERGED AS ONE OF THE GREATEST RULERS OF INDIA...WHOM HIS SUBJECTS BESTOWED THE TITLE OF "THE GREAT" OUT OF RESPECT AND LOVE...😊
( quite similar to Ratnakar and Valmiki myth...😊)
His earlier bad deeds got over-shadowed by the innumerable good ones he did afterwards...!!😳

Now this is a different story that our CVs are on-purpose "Thopoying " ALL the goodness of the Great King on his Love interest...😆( Though most of them were after all influenced by his Alliance with HK)

After all, we all signed in for a Love -Story ...Hai na...!!..So they have to earn their B&B also....😉 Hence the confusion and the pandemonium in the forum.....😆
