Bahut Dinan Mein Haath Lage Ho Kaise Jane Doon
Aaj Phagwa To Son Ka Tha Peeth Pakad Kar Loon.

After long have you come in my hands, how will I let you go?
Today is Holi, and perfect time to catch hold of you)

Yup.I am.
Agreed...Thnx. for compliment regarding college.
But, my college has no role in this.
I mean my domain/BG and my history reading hobby stand at 2 opposite poles..

Welcome.😊
History fascinates me ryt frm strting..
Instead of doing nothing it's better to do something in free time..

Really, till date read many accounts, but neither PRC(though he is a SUPER historical hero for me..his feats are amazing..), nor any historical event, made me ENTER SO DEEP in detail, as JA..

The reason..is.I am simply AMAZED at the level of distortion, in their history..😕..How well can a story be wrapped...This is LIVE example...😕...As i read more, sometimes feel like killing all those ***** .😡..

And even "SOME OF" the educated academia have played game here..😡.
And this is done for all the wrong reasons like - r*ligi*n...

Even there was a SEPARATE section about this in the chronicles, which talked about ::>>

1.WOMEN adornment..
2.their jewels...
3.Even their methods of dressing up..(i do not know all this..😕..)

So, i did not read all those things..U see..this is not my..domain..😊..
(i mean, what will i get reading about how women dressed themselves..)😆

If had i written all that, it would have become another NEW thread.!!.So, i left it..

BTW, ur answer::>>>

I skipped that part in Ain-i-Akbari...

But, i read something regarding it, in another book..

Italian traveller, Niccolao Manucci..
Manucci was in the court of Mughals.
Also, he served in the service of a Raja of Amber.(name forgotten..)

In his book, Memoirs of Mughal Court, probably page-37..😕

He has written in his accounts--- "Hindoo women used vermillion(sindoor) in their hair parting..And a dot in the middle of their forehead.. "..

This is also given in following book..
Hindu Women, By Altekar
page-300

So,
I feel this DOT on forehead means bindi..??

And this is my GUESS -->>
"Women used a vermillion tika instead of bindi..
Probably, bindi was not there at that time...(Its my guess..)...
ALSO, again, in the show, Jo is not using bindi.
She is actually using a vermillion tika...Did u observe before..??😉
I
f u have not observed...u may see TODAY.😉
"

Hope..m not wrong..😕..

Okay so here I go!!!
A few days back I caught hold of a really tattered book that was undoubtedly a thousand years old(!).The book was sans author or publication house's name. But the book spoke of a lady in Akbar's reign who was powerful enough to decide the state's foreign policy and not only that she had once waged a war and under her leadership the Mughal Army had emerged victorious. Now my mind obviously flashed Jodha's name...I would still want a confirmation of the sorts!!
