Hi,
Though this question was for History_geek,could not keep myself from answering...😃

Salim ka Mommy Jodha hi thi...only farq yeh hai ke uska naam Jodha nahi tha..RK .Heera Kunwari tha...Uski mention is liye nahi hai as After marriage to the Emperor and before Salim's birth, the Hindu Begum was conferred the Title of MUZ and no one took her real name in public out of respect... In Daniyal case, MUZ probably had no other choice here ,as she wanted her second son to grow with Amer traditions as his base as Salim was already out of hand (being given to Ruqaiya for initial upbringing).Prince Daniyal Mirza was very much tolerant towards Hindus and as I stated earlier, married a would-be-sati rescued Hindu girl as well...so much for his Amer upbringing coming into play...😊
Unlike our screen Jodha, MUZ was more of a silent follower of her Husband's wishes as they were usually wise and apt ones(hence had to bear the pain of sending away her child so early)...maybe our screen Jo will also become like that once she finds her trust in Jalaal and starts loving him truely...😊

Btw Danial sent to Amer 8days old?
I can't digest this!
How Jodha bore it?
I mean even I have a newborn nephew who z 3 days old! I can't bear idea of living away from him. What about mother?
Btw Salim k momma Jodha hi thi kya?
Somewhere I read k kahin uska mention nahi.
I feel it must b well executed plan of Kattar muslims n even Aurangzeb who was also extremist.
Waise eagerly awaiting ur next post.
Preferably on weekend haan.
N m Sneha. Many call me Sia z tiz in my profile name. N u?
Btw thanks for sharing.

Aren't these facts enough to prove that Akbar was head over heels in love with Jodha?? She had heavily influenced his life and he in return had showered her with his love. And yes even I have read it that Jodha was the only lady in Mughal history to have a direct command over cavalry not only this she could had the authority to decide the states foreign policies and wage a war if she found it necessary!

Daniyal was born to Biby Mariem (not to be confused with Mariam uz zamani) whom he married in 1569 at Lahore the year salim was born. He was not son of hira bai or anarkali as many wikipedia tell. Mariem was not nobel/royal by birth i think she was a cocubbine may be. So Akbar handed over daniyal to hira kunwari who in turn gave him to her mother to be brought by amer as a mark of respect for their contribution and loyalty. He was not brought up as hindu but as a muslim.

That's what I was saying.. Harka had three sons.. hasan and hussain who died after a few months and Prince Salim.. who was Akbar's oldest surviving son.

@autumn rose

i never... meant danial was a hindu.
now i have also made it clear in my post..

regarding bibi marium, i have doubt.

BUT hasan and husain were NOT marium uz zamani's sons...that's a sure fact.😊

akbar married bibi aram baksh in 1564.

Hasan Mirza.
born on 19th October 1564...(son of Bibi Aram Bakhsh).
He died on 5th November 1564.

Husain Mirza.
born on 19th October 1564...(son of Bibi Aram Bakhsh). (twin with his brother)
He died on 29th October 1564.
😊

all this was as per internet accounts..and this is not correct also...😆😆..

in reality MUZ had sons as well as daughters...
which i do not want to open now...
