I can only repeat what I wrote to Riyya on my latest thread, in response to her question about this very topic.

No, there will be no switch marriage. It would be ridiculous and demeaning for an emperor. Why on earth would he agree to something like that? He wants to show her where she gets off for constantly wanting his head and then putting him in a dicey position in the prison, and how can he do that except by forcing her to marry him of her own free will,but to save Amer and her family?
