My dear,

Of course you can!

What an array of emoticons this time! And I loved that the LIKE tab was throwing tantrums at me
😡 and I couldn't manage to woo that!🤢

I will make it a point to PM you when I write my next. There was nothing to call for a separate analysis these last 2 days.

Jalal's full throated scream of anguish at his Khan Baba's death (he does not yet know that it was a murder, or at whose instigation) reminded me of Hrithik Roshan's Altaf in Mission Kashmir when his foster ammi is killed by mistake by a bomb he has planted. I was glad that Jalal had made up with his Khan Baba, and thus did not have to suffer a lifetime of bitter regret. See how one gets emotionally embroiled with complex characters!

Hello Aunty (I can call you so, right?😛)😊

It was all my pleasure!😃

I was at severe loss of ideas while pondering over a 'something different' id and thus this one, borrowed from the Sonnets.
😆 And you found that fascinating...😳

Actually wanted to tell you that I have turned into a huge fan of yours overnight.😛
Had fun going through your previous analysis...
😃 but couldn't appreciate them even with a mere like, awfully curt may it seem, but trust me the LIKE tab was throwing tantrums at me😡 and I couldn't manage to woo that!🤢

You're the gem of a writer!👏

I would be waiting for the next post from your pen.😊

I also felt really bad that Baitam Khan died. The lat scenes which Jalal and BA shared was really awesome. A very nice post yet again.

Thank you, my dear. As I wrote above to DarkLady, Jalal's full throated scream of anguish reminded me of Hrithik's Altaf in Mission Kashmir. Luckily for Jalal now, it is only a great loss and deep grief. There is no corrosive, terrible regret, as for Altaf.

Haha, great minds think alike. Well, she was likely to be the favoured choice of many for such a role. She is one of the prettiest faces on television who know how to act too! I would have said Mouni Roy (Sati) as well, but she isn't such a great actor. Neither would she look anything like a Rajput princess though she is beautiful. It's taking me sometime to get used to this Jodha. Mainly cuz I can't make up my mind as to whether she suits with Akbar. He is so magnificent in his acting and actually manages to look the part that I don't know how the chemistry would be when both are in the same frame. Hoping Ekta has made a good choice. She chose this one out of 7000 girls all over India 😕 Must be something we're missing.

Dear Pratiksha,

What a coincidence! I have repeatedly said in several of my posts/comments here that the Parvati of DKDM would have been the ideal choice for Jodha, and now she is free too. I wrote then (and you will see how my assessment of this Jodha went down in a fortnight!):

Have you seen the Parvati of DKD Mahadev.? I could not help thinking that she would have made a splendid Jodha, but of course she would not be available. Bar her, this one seems to be a good choice, she has a serene dignity and occasionally a lot of sweetness, and then her troubled look when Jalal's face haunts her was very well done. (June 30)

I personally do not feel that this Jodha looks regal. She is too short and not at all lissom, and while she is good at some scenes, like those at the Bhanpur palace, I do not like her when she attempts anger and glares, and at times she looks almost plain. It is a pity they could not have got the Parvati of Devon ke Dev Mahadev - she is statuesquely beautiful, really beautiful, and regal in her every movement. She has now left DKDM, but when they started this one some months back, she would not have been available, more is the pity, She is very young too, only 20. Well, I suppose we will have to manage with what we have got. At least they were lucky in their Akbar! (July 15)

Your caustic comments on Jodha are delightful. I hope that Motibai is not lugged across to Agra as well, for I do not want to look at her any more!

No, my dear Pratiksha, we are not missing anything. Mediocrity is mediocrity, and it would not have been difficult to find 6999 girls who were even worse than the final choice. Moreover, Sonarika must by now be having a reputation for being troublesome, and so all the producers, even one as tough as Ekta, would shy off. No one likes a dissenter who holds them to ransom very cleverly. All the more so as they would have to cope with her for much longer than if it was a a film.

All the same, I really regret that she is not doing JA. She would have been just perfect in the role. She is not just pretty, she is really beautiful, and when Jalal talks of her bepanah husn, it would not have looked out of place. Sigh!! (No emoticon for that!😉)

No, my dear, it did not, but I am rather new to emoticons. and they fascinate me/

However, I don't use them a lot myself. Old habits die hard. But they are very useful for clarifying the context of a remark that might otherwise sound impolite or sarcastic. The IF has a nice array of them. GMail is very poor in its emoticons.

Lol, the beauty thing is quite farfetched regarding the present JA. Would have preferred it if he had been enchanted with her smile or maybe her eyes or something inexplicable that he finds hard to forget. Not just beauty 😕 That is so very superficial! Even more so when its Paridhi playing Jodha!
