Haha, great minds think alike. Well, she was likely to be the favoured choice of many for such a role. She is one of the prettiest faces on television who know how to act too! I would have said Mouni Roy (Sati) as well, but she isn't such a great actor. Neither would she look anything like a Rajput princess though she is beautiful. It's taking me sometime to get used to this Jodha. Mainly cuz I can't make up my mind as to whether she suits with Akbar. Jalal's full throated scream of anguish at his Khan Baba's death (he does not yet know that it was a murder, or at whose instigation) reminded me of Hrithik Roshan's Altaf in Mission Kashmir when his foster ammi is killed by mistake by a bomb he has planted. I was glad that Jalal had made up with his Khan Baba, and thus did not have to suffer a lifetime of bitter regret. See how one gets emotionally embroiled with complex characters!

All the same, I really regret that she is not doing JA. She would have been just perfect in the role. She is not just pretty, she is really beautiful, and when Jalal talks of her bepanah husn, it would not have looked out of place. Sigh!! (No emoticon for that!😉)
