The Best Response Ekta can give to them is to continued with this Show!! This is one of the best show I have seen.. Beside I never saw any single scene where serial show disrespect to Rajput! This Serial is Love Saga Between Akbar and Jodha and not depicting the Bravery of Rajput or Mughals!! The events which are shown had occurred in between the love story of JODHA and Akbar. This serial never focused on War as majority of the History books are.
ppl who are protesting, I bet none of them took their time to watch what the serial has to offer!! just blindly following their so called leaders!! Shame on such a ppl who are so blind with their " fake ego"that they are injuring as well destroying ppl's property whom has nothing to do with the serial!!

@ launch ceremony of show I remember tht Ekta said this is my interpretation may b other don't agree, may b Mughal side has another idea... She said tht bec she knows very well tht this show took very bias creative liberties to portray Rajput very angelic n Mughals very barbaric (by the way all of them r not Mughals... They r also afghans...all the character having surname khan r simply not Mughals)

But here we are the great Rajputs r protesting. I can't understand what they really want

For a person not from India, I have to say that this is such depressing news. There are so many issues that we hear about going on in Indian society...(not picking on India, there are issues in every society, but just for this topic...) and I can't believe that there are violent protests going on about a tv show.

Domestic violence or violence against women...when those protests were happening I was 100% in agreement that something needs to be done ASAP concerning those issues and guilty parties must be held accountable, whether or not they have money or status within society.

Rising up against poverty, for affordable living, jobs, wages, equality, homosexuality...these are issues that make people suffer every day, when they have to live either in hiding or against their desires for fear of persecution...those are issues that we need to stand together on and protest for so that changes can and will be made.

I'm from Canada and in 2011 we had a violent riot start up when a hockey team lost in the finals. I couldn't believe that a civilized society would go up in flames (literally) due to a hockey team losing. It was ridiculous and the persons who were involved in it are being made to be held accountable for their actions. Alcohol was a major player in what happened that night but still very depressing.

These protests in india are just as depressing...over what ... a tv show. There are so many hindi films that take liberty with historical facts...there are just as many tv shows that have taken such liberties in the past. I hope and pray that the persons who are instigating and starting these protests are held accountable in front of a court of law and that we can continue on with enjoying this show for what it is...a tv show that is very loosely based on history...very very loosely.
