Hello all 🤗.. This is my first ever Weekend analysis post in JA forum 😳 ... I m really falling in love with the show currently and so felt like putting in my thoughts for this week as promised to my friend Mansi(skanda12) 😳 ... I or Mansi will b putting up these weekend threads every Friday or Saturday so that we can put down our entire week thoughts and suggestions in this thread which will really help and motivate the CVs to do better in coming weeks
So here I go .. 😛
About Jalal and what the future holds 🤔
For starters I m glad that Creatives have given so many various shades to Jalal's character so far .. Yes I will not yet call him Akbar since Akbar was his name post his transformation into a man with a golden heart 😳 .. so till he is transformed by Jodha , he will remain Jalal for me 😛...
After watching this week's episode , I have a feeling that this Trimurti 😳 (Mahamanga+ Bairam Khan + Ruqqaiyya begum ) all will join hands eventually to form their own army against Jodha while Jodha and Jalal's real mother Hamida Banu might b on other side and then its upto Jalal which side he chooses 😛 ...
I m saying this simply because even though all 3 currently hv their own issues with each other but they all hv a common motto and that is to make sure Jalal remains the most loyal to them and they too have that power over Jalal's actions in some way 😉... So its obvious that once Jodha enters the picture , all 3 of them will hv their insecurities and that time Jalal's own mother Hamida banu might b the only one who will want Jalal to b genuinely happy with Jodha since I m sure the mother will know that Jodha is the only person who can show the right path to Jalal 😳
Coming to Jalal's childhood friend cum wife ,this Ruqqaiyya begum seems to b one smart woman 😈 .. she does not expect any true love from Jalal but she knows how to keep Jalal under her arms 😉 and so she plays this exclusive chess game with him and does all this wicked stuff to give him the feel that look how I m so smart and just the right woman for u when it comes to taking politicial advice and all 😉.. Being the childhood friend of Jalal is her biggest advantage and so she knows that her words among all women will b given more importance by Jalal ... but things however might change once Jodha comes in picture since Jalal's decision to go to Amer does come as first unexpected shock for her 😉
Overall what I can see is Jalal from outside might come out looking all vindicative towards the Rajputs or heartless and shrewed kind of a king but there is a soft side too which we can clearly see when it comes to his sister or his loyal Mughal friends and soldiers .. He knows the meaning of loyalty and friendship ... But he is simply surrounded by wrong set of people especially Mahamanga who always taught him how to capture and rule rather than how to spread love ...He never really witnessed those emotions that u feel in love .. His mother was always kept away from him by some smart manipulations by Mahamanga 😡 .. So circumstances made him heartless but he does hv a heart which will start opening slowly once Jodha comes in his life 😳...
For now CVs hv done a wonderful job with Jalal's character sketch and also beautifully showed how the people around him are mostly selfish or power hungry which had its negative effect on Jalal but he too is somewhere longing for that real love and affection and thats one reason why he is instantly attracted to Jodha 😳...Its not just Jodha's beauty which attracted him but its her overall fiersome personality which attracted him the most and that was so evident in the promo where he describes Jodha as this brave warrior who is hving mehndi in her hand yet carrying a talwaar and this is what impressed him the most when he discovered that Jodha is not just a showpiece princess to b kept in harems but a smart intelligent woman of substance and brave fighter too and so he knows that he simply cannot kidnap Jodha and put her in his harem 😆 , but he will have to win her over from the Rajputs with a proper political allaince since her personality demands that kind of respect from the Mughal emperor 😎... He may say out of his false pride and ego that he will make Jodha the shaan of his harem but from inside he too is well aware that Jodha will never agree to it and thats one reason why he wants to attack Amer so that Jodha's father has no option but to make this alliance of hindu-muslim marriage 😉...
In short Jalal knows the value of Jodha and he is well aware of the fact that Jodha commands that respect and honour since she is as intelligent and brave as he is and can give him equal challenge if needed in the battlefield 😎...Like I said Jalal's attraction for Jodha does not just come because of her beauty but its her overall personality which has already made Jalal secretly fall for the Rajput princess 😳 but yeah in typical fashion he will live in denial till he is taught the real definition of Love of course 😛😆😆...But Jalal's underlying passion and desperation for Jodha is already visible since his Amer decision was instant and unexpected where he dint even feel the need to consult the likes of Ruqaiyya or Mahamanga .. Goes on to show the upcoming change and a new positive beginning for sure 😎...
I must say Rajat Tokas is brilliant as Jalal so far ... His intense eyes spitting fire and at the same time that raw passion seeing Jodha for the first time , proved that no other actor can do justice to Jalal's role here other than Rajat ..Rajat was simply tailor made for this role ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
About Jodha and what the future holds 🤔...
Jodha is a brave courageous and intelligent Rajput princess who knows well how to keep her Rajput honour intact ... She is the perfect candidate who can transform a heartless Mughal king into a Gem called Akbar 😳...
I m glad that Creatives hv made Jodha a intelligent and thinking princess here who has the ability to use her own brains when it comes to decision making and so we know that even in future , it wont b easy to manipulate her 😃... The scene where Jodha almost catches Jalal red handed when he was in disguise of a Rajput fighter , for few seconds even the grt Jalal was caught completely off-guard because I m sure he never really expected a woman to actually put a sword on his neck in that sudden manner 😉😆😆... Even though Jalal somehow escaped from there all thanks to that spl Rajput mark which he got on his arms at right time 😆 , but still that scene clearly indicated that Jodha is no brainless bimbo but someone who has the ability to even checkmate the great Mughals and so Jalal will know that he can never really underestimate this perfect combo of beauty with brains 😈😛...
Coming to Jodha-Suryabhan alliance , well Jodha and Suryabhan looks more like errr brother-sister to me 😳😆... Well not because of my love for Jodha and Jalal 😆 but because whenever I see them on screen , something looks off 🤔... I guess I m quite irritated with Surya's same type of chants and promises on what if he does not return or how he will marry only after this and that ..blabla 😆🥱...Its almost as if Surya is giving Jodha indirect hint of "look I will not return in picture soon , so go and marry that hot dashing dude called Jalal in next few weeks " 😆😆...the whole boat ride was cinematically beautiful but a bit too cheesy and superficial for me 😳... I dont think Jodha is in love with Suryabhan either .. She knows that her marriage is fixed with this Rajput king and so she has made up her mind to love this fellow 🤔...In short Jodha is one of those Rajput princess who loyally follows her family and kingdom's protocol without really listening to her heart's call since for her , its her family and kingdom which comes first before her own heart's call 🤔...
In a way I do find Jalal and Jodha quite similar .. Both have given their first priority to their own kingdom's honour before their own desires and thats why both hv sort of blocked their heart's doors for now ... Only difference here is Jodha's parents hv taught her love and wisdom whereas Jalal's guardian especially Mahamanga have taught him more of hatred and thirst for power ...This is where Jodha will b able to transform Jalal into a better person since she will eventually understand that Jalal too just like her is truely loyal towards his kingdom before his own happiness or deisres 😊...
I now cant wait to see the kind of conditions Jodha will put in front of Jalal without any fears once the alliance of Jodha and Jalal's marriage takes place 😎... I m sure that scene will hv emotions and intensity running high from both Jodha and Jalal's end 😛...
Paridhi as Jodha is doing a fabulous job too and just like Rajat , even Paridhi has got those deep intense eyes which speaks volumes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... She compliments Rajat beautifully and I m glad Ekta selected her as Jodha .. she is simply perfect for the role 👏👏👏...
Highs of This week :
I think the biggest high point of the week has to b Jalal's discovery of Jodha :The princess and a beauty who has brains too 😎... The way Jalal showed his intense desperation to get Jodha in his Harem , all those dialogues and that deep raw passion to win over Amer , I can already feel the heat once Jalal actually manages to marry Jodha finally 😈...Right from their first meeting which was symbolically breathtaking to his mission of discovering Jodha in disguise , its been a really interesting journey for Jalal and is also one of the biggest high in the show too since in the JA film we actually saw very little of this pre discovery phase of Jalal before marriage but I m glad we r getting to see these detailing in the show here before the marriage 😳...
Also we got some interesting tid bits about Jalal's extended family too ... So we know where all his bitterness and negativity is coming from 🤓
Lows of this Week :
I feel the Harem thing shown could b a turn off for many viewers who prefer to watch this show with family 🤔... I hope CVs dont really stress much on this harem of Jalal because today's trp family viewers wont take it in much positive light .. already I see few members in our forum saying I wont watch if this harem of women r shown regularly ..Well I do understand where they r coming from 😊...
Ekta needs to remember that the show is sold as Jodha Akbar love story and not really as factual historic documentary on Akbar 😊 .. So at times she can compromise a bit on facts to make sure the family viewers r not embarassed while watching it with all so that trps remain steady ... CVs can show how this harem is created only as a show up or like a eyewash for the public but in reality Jalal dont enjoy all this much since somewhere he is searching for that real love which is beyond all this power game and lust 😳 ... Mayb in history Jalal did hv this harem and his share of fun with women too but for the sake of viewers who r more interested in Jodha and Akbar's epic love story , I guess a bit of cinematic liberty can b taken here since like I said its not really a documentary 😊...For me this was the only low point in these 2 weeks , rest was all fine 😳...
Suggestion/Prediction :
I guess its too early for me to suggest anything to CVs or predict anything this week since we all r waiting for Jalal to attack Amer and then Jodha and Jalal marriage alliance to take place followed by Jodha's set of conditions to Jalal before marriage 😳.. But I hope Ekta and CVs work a bit more on camera and dialogues so that it gives that epic feel when one watches it .. 😳... Dramatisation during high points is good for trps but plss dont over dramatise it especially when that woman is making predictions on Jodha getting married to Mughal family , at times I feel like watching Zee TV fear files during such scenes 😕😆...those scenes can b toned down a bit 😆😳...
Pheww so those r my thoughts on the show and its characters ... looking forward to all your thoughts and predictions too 😳😳
