Thank you. I struggled a lot with this chap- Jalal and Ruq came very easily to me, but my Jodha just did not want to fall in love! Glad that you liked it!

The sheer brilliance of this oneshot dazzled me.

Beautiful. Loved the last line - footnote in history. It had a lot of poignancy. It's a lovely story from Ruqaiya's POV. That's the first one I read. I see its a threeshot. Will read the rest in a while. I'm a sucker for good romance writers. You're definitely a really good one. Great to see you writing in this forum 😊

i loved it... the story seems so different from jodha's pov...
jodha is someone who accept he fate as it came but when this fate made her life one to cherish she never know... thats what life is all about...
love the story ...keep writing

It was a stroke of genius on your part- the way you managed to juggle and present to us various facets of Jodha's character.

The glorious princess who was at heart a young girl with simple aspirations for love and family.

The vengeful fiancee forced to marry the man who killed her groom.

A woman shrouded in loneliness in an alien land, made to forsake all for her kingdom and her people.

Her increasing awareness of Jalal and the private man underlying his overarching public self.

Her dignity, her forbearance, her vulnerability, her passion...everything was so beautifully suggested.

The best part of this story was when Jodha apologized to her dead fiance's ashes. I could clearly imagine the conflicts that she had faced and which had led her to this point. AND the stunning revelation that Jalal means something to her after all.

I think this one is my favorite among the three;)

Always great to know when one's writings dazzles a reader!😳 It was a bit of a struggle to do this one only because there was so much change happening to Jodha and so many facets of her character to show. Suryabhan also played a part because I had given him importance from the very first one shot, so how she moved on was an important factor- the fact that your favorite scene is the ashes scene means I did my job well!
