This is a wonderful story, absolutely amazing. You did what the TV show hasn't succeeded much in doing, portraying Ruqaiya as a character with its set of admirable traits and another set of faults and follies. The characters matured like fine wine, and the gradual character development prevented the readers from making assumptions about a character. Ruqaiya's indifferent pensiveness was interesting, because it gave us a significant perspicacity about her personality. Yes, she was power-hungry. Yes, she was arrogant to a fault. Yes, she often treated Jalal like her possession and was in ways, way too confident about her rights on him. Anyone in her shoes would have been crippled by envy, led to plotting and conspiracies. That would have paved a path to their own destruction. She was unsurprisingly insightful of Jalal, and often recognized his behaviors that hinted at a change. She knew him inside and out, often better than he knew himself. This goes to prove how good a friend she was to him. Yes, she wanted, no craved what Jodha had - Jalal's love beyond just solidarity. And, the fact that she would never have it made her sad, and she plotted. But, she also accepted defeat. And, that is the biggest, humblest trait that she has displayed.😊

Right now, I'm focusing on writing HOHP- I finally managed to find time to write a chapter and send it to my proofreader. I do have a plot for JA, but I'm not sure how it would be received because it would be very alternate universe.
