Did you notice any of the contestants in JJWS (current and eliminated)matching established singers in singing abilitiesYou think given the right opportunities they can make a mark for them selves.

or

you feel they have a long way to go.

Please define "Established."

If you consider Atif Aslam or Raghav established singers then all of them are better than established singers.

😆Good point

We have established singers in Anu Malik also

I meant singers who are popular today or have been in the past 10 years

Singers like Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Abhijit, Shaan, Alka Yagnik Sunidhi, Shreya, Kavita Krishnamurti

I believe if they get right opportunity they can make a mark ......

for example Naresh iyer got right opportunity with ARR.....a non winner contestant of a reality show........now even sonu will sing masti ki pathshala i will compare his song with Naresh's and ofcourse may i'll find faults in sonu's singing bcz sonu is not the original singer of this song.....

This is a false dilemma. If they have a long way to go, does that mean they will never make it? I don't think so.

But, do they have a ways to go yet?

As evidence, consider this live performance by an established singer. Note: a LIVE performance, not in a studio.

Could any of the JJWS contestants match this in a live performance?

In my opinion, not even close.

even reality contestants rock in LIVE shows.....even though they r new, they dont sing their own songs....and establish ones sing thier own songs and more experienced doing Live shows....practice makes perfect

Thanks for sharing this live performance. Is this from "Junoon kuch kar dikhane ka"? Is it a live prgram?

I don't where this is from, I stumbled on it at Youtube. It doesn't look like JKKDK, though. Whatever, the performance is out of this world. And it demonstrates the tayyari needed to be a top-flight singer.

Note that Rahat is 34 years old. Will any of the JJWS contestants be this good by that age?
