There are probably other efforts, but two I know of, for direct comparison, are by Toshi on this show and Abhas on SVOI. Of the two, I think Abhas's version is better, but neither, as a live performance, takes ones breath away like Rahat's.

I forgot about Raja in SRGMP. Also a decent effort, but by no means exceptional (considering the praise that the judges proceeded to heap on him.)

thanx so much for the son g...i love tu bin bataye ....just heard it in the movie......just amazing.....naresh's voice is simply amazing...its all abt getting a right chance and after that luck if that chance get clicked.....he even won National award for RDB , same with sharya who won national with her first movie( both r reality shows singers😛).....waoooo........i just wish others to get a right chance😃

There are many Bhairavi pieces. Why this one in particular? Why not something more well-known, e.g. the famous "babul mora naihara chhuto hi jay". It even qualifies as a "filmi song"! (Saigal in Street Singer)

yes the song you mentiond is very good. And this one also is Bhairavi though by swara personified Lata ji..bhor bhaye panghat pe.. (Satyam Shivam Sundram). Why don't they pick these songs I am sure good rendition of this will fetch votes (🤢)

these guys are good no doubt but i just can't compare them to sonu...sukhwinder...udit ji...rahat...alka...shreya...shaan...etc. It just doesn't wrk out in my head because i don't think they are as good. If anything...i think Mussarat Abbas and Amanat Ali are better then Rahul...Harshit... and perhaps abhijeet...

you guys should def. check Master Saleem...he is a punjabi singer...he released his first album at the age of 10 and it was of him singing a few NFAK sahibs songs....hes had alot of cd's out lately and they are mostyl punjabi songs but...
