Let me just say this…

Leena has played with the characteristic of Ani’s ambivalence to the hilt…What has saved Ani’s character through all this ambivalence is his integrity of intent. Until the tumour operation to a major extent and HA finally, he wasn’t ever shown to actively reject the premise that he was only in love with Jhanak…or in other words out of love with Arshi. Until then he was shown conflicted etc He mentally wanted to honour his commitment to Arshi though in love with J… and even when wanted to keep Jhanak by his side after Kashmir, quoting his suffocation etc he did not actively dismiss the bond with Arshi and while we may all want to load all the guns at Jhanak for the brutal rejection, his own understanding of love is not Jhanak’s responsibility. In simple words, Ani is responsible for what happened as he was the one in love with Jhanak and commited to Arshi not Jhanak…Which is why his actions post Aag to me made sense as a person acting out of guilt which stayed on until the Mumbai track.

And the word you used INTEGRITY OF INTENT...

That exactly is what justifies Ani to me till now and makes me think that the makers put great effort to NOT SPOIL his character despite wanting him to act in a way that MIGHT SEEM AMBIGUOUS.

It seems to me that they took great care till now to maintain ANI's character integrity...

At the end, INTENT is what matters until one gets the courage to move in the right direction and upgrade oneself... Isn't it?

But now, this is what is heavily missing from his side... Hence, the reason I'm wanting to believe there's a strong reason for all this...

Leena aunty already have copied so many scenes from guddi including the episode number of the consummation scene lol. Aage shadi bhi Kara hi degi j ki kisi or naye ashiq se ....lol I don't have any will to watch the episodes anymore. Kuch nahi ho raha sivay bakwasbazi ke lol dance track than baby track than j marriage track I'm already feeling so tired by all this. Time to take a break and go back to my tbr list lol.

This aspect of his duality has gone under the radar for the audience due to the integrity of his intent but for the recipient of those words, assurances, promises etc it could signal something else … ofc here the recipient is Arshi who is in different zone altogether. 😂😂😂 who is in turns dumb and dumber or clever by half

But Leena is just playing too dirty for setting up her next track… which can be messy from the looks of it… my point is why should Ani seek out Arshi even if Arshi is intending to play dirty with him? As Sowmya rightly pointed out why the need to confide in Arshi after the loss of faith now?

I don't consider Ani to be a bad person and I very much understand where his confusions and vulnerabilities were coming from in this situation.

That still doesn't change the fact that he told fantastical lies to fool everyone around him....telling lies about love simply to pacify someone is definitely not something to hail in a person. We joke around about it but that doesn't mean Ani was right in doing that.

And that still doesn't take away from Arshi ka victim act being 100% fake....she always knew Ani didn't mean those ILUs....but that doesn't take away from the point that Ani shouldn't have said fake ILUs.

Beyond that I have appreciated that he went above and beyond to support Arshi since she was in a trauma...I simply disagree on the point that any of that required fake ILUs and labeling her wife and starting to live with her as as a husband too.

This is why I was asking at the beginning of this track ki what role will Ani have in what seems to be a setup for beheno ki grand ladaai only .....chalo de diya answer makers ne.....Ani ko waise bhi kam hi dikhayenge and jab dikhayenge, it will be for lame scenes like "Arshi ke saamne kamzor ho gaya" or blabbering about "I feel Jhanak zinda hai"

She is almost done copying JN since I guess baby trap track was around the last tracks of JN, right?

So yeah phir toh aur shows hi copy karne padenge uske baad to keep on with mission 500 episodes at the minimum....J can get married to someone else and Runak can officially start EMA

Arey Nina, we have to hang around till baby trap track atleast na....dekhein toh sahi Arshi didi kitna copy kar paati hai Malini didi ko

Baaki toh I'm skipping epis these days anyways....they are making it easier to detach since Ani ko waise hi dikha nahin rahe....lol and yeh Srishti aur uski do loser betiyon ke drama mein koi interest humein hai nahin
