I was referring to Aag and Mumbai track again because so many people seem to think that's some GREAT CHARACTER DEGRADATION of Aniruddh's character, while I don't think so at all...

I very strongly feel he was completely justified during that time and his journey was quite meaningful up until his recent worst dialogues....

If I felt they are trying to portray Ani as a TWO-TIMER like everybody says since MUMBAI Track itself, I would've quit the show long back...

Now, people are comparing Mumbai track and his recent abrupt flip which has the worst dialogues ever by him in the show, which makes it even more unfathomable to me..

Kamzor pad raha hu? Like, he didn't spout ANYTHING like that during the WHOLE Mumbai track...

Baaki I still believe there's a reason behind his nonsense dialogues, and the makers will not degrade their own ML that abruptly...

If you are not getting how makers have tried to show Ani as a pendulum all along, phir toh discussion hi moot hai na.....they gave it the cover of "confusion" for very long but that doesn't change that his actions were veering into two-timing territory only. LOL no matter how much I like Ani as a character, I'm not blind to what they've shown.

Since we are again talking about aag track, ek baat ka answer de do aap....lol you don't think it was character degradation that after everything he said to Jhanak in Kashmir, the moment aag track happened and Jhanak leaving after all the humiliation and accusations she faced....he found it so easy to go back to ILU Arshi, humara forever wala rishta, tum hi meri humsafar yeh woh blah blah fake speeches that he maaroed in the SR scene? That was all genuine? No, that was degradation only....to show him as a weak indecisive man who finds it so easy to chant ILU like it means nothing . When Arshi confronted him in the SR scene, then also he was just given weak spineless monologues in his head while outwardly he kept lying to Arshi to pacify her.....lol that was not degradation that he was lying even when he knew it wasn't it his truth? .....yes it was all covered up under "confusion" for very long but it doesn't change the truth of what those actions were.

If he was really genuine about wanting to move on with Arshi, why not ever complete the shaadi rituals with her? Again an example of portraying him as a man who wants to have it both ways....ki shaadi puri nahin ki but Arshi ko wife bolte raho and Jhanak saamne aa jaaye toh Kashmir waali shaadi ka bhi vaasta de do

But chalo yeh sab past ki baatein....we thought maybe Leena finally wanted to uplift him a bit so gave him concrete dialogues for once about how having a near death experience gives you the COURAGE to speak your TRUTH....that you STOP hesitating then....just few days back, this is the Ani we were seeing

And now suddenly it's back to maut and akelepan ka darr....and uski wajah se suddenly Arshi ke saamne kamzor bhi ho gaye

So what else is there to conclude but degradation again only? Just that this time the window has shifted a bit ki Ani made so many bold declarations of love for Jhanak that he can't jump back to ILU Arshi so instead they are trying to give it a milder label of "kamzori" but basically still implying the same thing ki Jhanak chali jaati hai toh Ani can easily revert back to being weak in front of Arshi and going along with whatever people demand of him

This is what makes the most sense to me. How much hurt and broke he was by her words. The more his feelings for her grew, the more effected by her behaviour he was. In my Pov, they were building up to it from the beginning itself actually... And when he was the most vulnerable, just before AAG track, Jhanak completely destroyed everything he felt. He himself was confused and stressed about what's happening to him, where his feelings are headed, how his life can change so drastically. And noone supported him or understood him and everyone pushed him towards Arshi, including Jhanak...

Him alienating her is the least he can do in my pov...

I understood that the track had one aim to separate the two but I wish they had been more careful in its execution.

The only way Jhanak would have left BH was if Ani Arshi married or something drastic like a loss of trust occured, the latter happened..

Jhanak always wanted a reason to leave BH, without feeling guilty about it since the beginning. Her stance was always same from then to now, she just found a good enough excuse to let go of Ani finally after AAG track. She herself pushed him to this extent and then blamed him and ran away without even giving him benefit of doubt considering all their past ...

I wish it had been circumstantially achieved rather than as an intentional thing. Maya said he was tied up… I think fair enough as one can’t be in two places. I just wish the execution showed him as that and not purposefully mouthing those agar dialogues 😂😂 Jhanak would have been equally upset at his absence so his presence wasn’t required to alienate Jhanak from Ani… She would have still left BH disheartened that Ani chose Arshi over her in her bad time signalling what his priorities are..

As a writer, I would have created a situation where his guilt at how his actions meant collateral damage for Arshi and as a cascading effect on Jhanak made him resolve to stay true to one path, which is what he actually did. He has always been particular that he wants Jhanak safe not necessarily under his care…So those stupid dialogues for who should be punished weren’t necessary at all…His simple preoccupation would have done the trick… Jhanak hoping to meet Ani and Ani unavailable…

his monologue doubt about her involvement however silly was still justified ( your mind may not have a filter 😂) but his anger wasn’t justified and then the regret after she left seemed pointless which was again unAnilike

If we start caring about Ani's monologues and his mood swings from the beginning of the show we will never be able to empathise with him from very early on. His mood swings are like on another level, and that's one thing I love about him actually.

Whenever he was angry/hurt kitna bakwaas sochta he, we can listen in his monologues...😅

We can understand his actual stance, through his actions or when he later clarifies only...

So, I don't take his monologue during Aag track seriously. But his actions, his emotional state that PUSHED him to do those actions, I can understand very well thanks to Krushal...

Even if I do take his monologue into account, it wasn't that out of place for him to think like that according to me...

He cannot dismiss that severe accusations related to the life of a person, be it Arshi or someone else, just because he wants to trust Jhanak.

Even though the one accusing is Srishti, he is bound to think why will she lie when her own daughter is involved...no? He can't entirely dismiss her in this scenario...

Considering all this, along with his then emotional state, and his guilt/obligation towards Arshi, he STILL ONLY SAID "Agar Jhanak ne kuch galat kiya to use saza milna chahaiye"... Agar being the keyword here...

If it was any other ML, I'm bound to believe he would state out accuse her... But still he Only said If she did something wrong...

I can't find anything wrong with this...

And as for him being angry with her, since her rejection wasn't he angry and very hurt and doing all kinds of tamasha infront of her?

Even then, I could see his care and restlessness when he learnt about police involvement but just wasn't showing it to her...

This is also clear in his monologue, actually...

The reason why this behaviour yesterday was so SO out of the place is because what I mentioned above and:

What he absolutely never does is show his confusion/hurt or any other feelings to somebody he DOESN'T TRUST! And from what I saw, Arshi lost his trust a long back, maybe since CHRISTMAS PARTY. Since then, his only contribution to his relationship with Arshi was to say what she wants to hear and somehow managing the situation because he himself was confused...

Even in Mumbai track this behaviour of his didn't change...

So this will be THE BIGGEST BLUNDER by the writer if he said it without any reason that too now... There needs to be a pretty good reason...

Even if he was confused about his feelings for Jhanak, the way he has always gone overboard putting on this fake performance for Arshi is very much a lowering of his character only.....it's not something to celebrate

And it's even worse if they are now showing him GENUINELY being so weak that he feels he need ARSHI around him of all people for company in his room? .....better he be lying to her only for temporary distraction cuz it would definitely be worse if he really means it....as of now I'm chalking it up to his eternal beemar state having addled his brains

Kuch khaas nahi . Precap bhagodi jhanak advising her father to run away lol. But he is not listening to her . Soon they will file case against SM and jhanak will come in front of everyone. I guess this will backfire as SM will prove that she is Nutan . Then only ANI can prove that she is jhanak

This aspect of his duality has gone under the radar for the audience due to the integrity of his intent but for the recipient of those words, assurances, promises etc it could signal something else … ofc here the recipient is Arshi who is in different zone altogether. 😂😂😂 who is in turns dumb and dumber or clever by half

But Leena is just playing too dirty for setting up her next track… which can be messy from the looks of it… my point is why should Ani seek out Arshi even if Arshi is intending to play dirty with him? As Sowmya rightly pointed out why the need to confide in Arshi after the loss of faith now?
