Yes, its done to face the evil gang and Anirudh , definitely that is the whole track about her success. So that she can stand with pride.
Hmmmโฆ usually the transformation is a trigger event ( at least in a story narrative not saying itโs so in life) which in a way the jail episode was for Jhanak. Her resolve to move from Ani and BH was very definitive. She only resolved to get away not to necessarily aim that highโฆshe did not anyways have big dreams.
As for her career and that too in a high stakes game I would say the transformation to overcome obstacles is still iffy and maybe the writers are looking to bring about that resolve when Ani arrives, Arshi in tow.
In a narrative sense, it makes sense to me, an underconfident person taking on the new paths gingerly. The scenes are all not very creative is another thing but the idea that her real flare up is a moment in waiting.
I am not watching the episodes so I may be wrong but just saying that I feel any transformation trigger for career will have Ani in the mix ( if I was a writer I wouldnโt let go of that opportunity) ๐
