Yes Mayuri , it was done on purpose for the story to move ahead ..Had Anirudh proved her innocence she would not have left asylum , for her evil gang and insults are adjustable..she is used to it .

She only values Anirudh in her life. He didnt trust her is the trigger for her to leave , her self respect got hurt.

But as Anirudh was shown so strong and always supported Jhanak they could have given him monologue saying he helped Choton or made Choton and Minu spoke about how Anirudh helped ...

But they chose not to and left it open for viewers with his agar and that bedroom monologue where he said the thought of doubting itself is wrong , still they didnt disclose the trio convo in police station ( may be will never same like lipstick,💄 ) ...and I feel it was to bring Arshi back in the story as a vamp..If Anirudh is shown going behind Jhanak , Arshi part is over. ...

Everytime when Jhanak is stuck in between evil gang they showed him also stuck with Arshi...The reversal rasam they tied him with Arshi suicide drama...aag series , they again tied him with her khuli aankhon wala coma...🙄

Its on purpose ...he is being made to fluctuate as its around him the story revolved and now changing the center to Arshi and Jhanak and our poor hot dark chocolate is being bashed all over.🥺🥺😢

Ok, given that Shristi is coming as a guest for the show, the chances of her doing something to Jhanak instead of Arshi are also there... Maybe this time she will plan it with Chaman uncle and maybe she will involve arshi as well, we are yet to see. Arshi just seems very disinterested in everything these days... But seeing Jhanak doing well, and I trust Shristi to instigate her against Jhanak, tell her again it will be a shame if she loses against Jhanak, etc... hopefully work as a trigger for her to lose that last bit of good in her and be a complete vamp. But I just hope this time Arshi also does evil things in her full senses, so that can bring an end to Anishit and it's not just Shristi doing evil deeds.
