I am actually an Adilie fan lol.
I adored Adi for being shameless that way. He had the spine to get things sorted, it was Imlie who in her mahantaa kept brushing the truth under the carpet until it exploded like a volcano. He always kept lying which is totally against his ideals all for Imlie. I liked that part of him and I see Ani also in a similar vein.
My first post here was comparing Adi-Imlie-Malini and Ani-Jhanak-Arshi and how similar/different they are character wise and relationship wise.
J is not there. Yet.
I'm also a huge fan
Adi was someone who stood by his ideals, he valued truth and had the spine to stand by the truth!
Honestly I'm not very sure about Ani's moral compass and the values he stands by and I'd blame it on writers for not letting us clearly get into his mind. They haven't clearly mentioned what are the non negotiables for him in his life?
Family? Commitment? Honesty? Jhanak

Adi was brutally honest human being. He owned up his mistake and he tried his best to rectify them. But the Imlie was the villain in their relationship.

They never probably asked him what he feels or what he wants/likes?? Jhanak honored his wishes and it probably made him feel that he was valued for who he was not what he brings to the table.
Ladies!
I just wanted to add that I am thoroughly enjoying reading your points of views from different perspectives regards to the current scenario. I would not have imagined getting into details with just one episode or Runak scenes and explaining into huge paragraphs
We can understand the story better among ourselves than what the writers are offering! Phew!
Itโs a goodnight from my side. Will be back soonish ๐ซฐ๐ป
keep up the discussion. We are soon going to finish the thread ๐

Exactly. It is purely bad writing and they make Ani go like a pendulum.
No comment there..๐ I love Trevor Noahโs comedy!

Bus she was 19 years old iselea sab ke sympathies uske saath then. Lekin sach to yeh ha woh apne age se kafi Bari the. Aditya ko usene rok rakha tha. But yeh koe accept nahi kerta.kyunke Aditya was mature use souchna chahea tha.
she is not - not sharing her feelings because she is not sure of his feelings. She does not want to share her feelings because she does not want to cause Ani Arshi break up.
Remember yesterday her monlogue, she will never let Ani say it. She knows he loves her, and it hurts her when he says he loves Arshi, but I think she knows in her head he loves her, and is saying it bcos he is lying or confused hinself. She is able to read his actions right I think.
But really the story is not watertight its very loose, inconsistent and can be interpreted in diff ways. So what you say could be right and I could be wrong. Writers are not consistent, maybe intentionally to keep all interpretations open?
That sounds like a double-meaning dialogue as well. The other possibility could be that she does not want Ani to ask her again to stay in that house, as she could not say no due to his respect.
Again yeah, inconsistent writing has been shown to us.

I don't know if you read it, but my first ever post was comparing the trio of the two shows and what I think Ani is compared to Adi, and how RuNak will be compared to Adilie.
He is more flexible, less impulsive, and calculative guy with the big picture in mind. Only with matters related to J does he act otherwise. She is his kryptonite to say short. Adi on the other hand is very rigid with his ideals and that is his utmost priority outside his relationship with Imlie, he grew up holding a different set of responsibilities and hence a difference in his ideals and demeanor compared to Ani.
Maybe I will have to revisit it to see if my predictions are still on track lol.
