If I slap Arshi and her gang, they will fly out of Jhanak world. They kept trying to bully her today too. Thankfully, Choton kept lying that Ani’s job was almost gone and took her away. She looked so pretty and it was nice to remember that she doesn’t wear makeup (she said it). That’s to say, that Ani went to get crazy about her even without makeup despite Arshi. There is something about that emphasis that is exciting - how it was Jhanak’s innate nature that overcame him without him knowing. Shristi and Arshi are so funny. Shristi is telling Arshi to hold in together to Ani’s heart, she suspects it’s already even gone now and yet, she still wants him married to Arshi? They really think getting her married will solve things? Perhaps, but if it’s the Ani I know, he might kidnap her husband and turn around to say he had a car accident 🤣. I’m telling you all that coupled with past episodes, especially that episode where Jhanak said she felt unsafe, she has been spot on about Ani - yet she doesn’t even know to what extent he is obsessed. Ani kept thinking of Jhanak even when driving today, and the only thing keeping these as only thoughts is because Ani has a self-righteous nature and he is actually vainer and self-interested than he lets on or would admit. Being the relatively good one among wolves exposed him to praise that solidified how good and innocent and righteous he must be. It’s not that Choton and Bodo ma and others weren’t more genuine, it’s just that they didn’t have the power Ani has so what they did didn’t matter as much as what he did. It’s how they say -the winners get to write history. Ani’s power in the family got him to be their poster child for holiness and humanity. He doesn’t want to admit he is not humane to Jhanak at all, that he has since stopped being wholly humanitarian and has even reached the level of actually hurting her in some way just to get her beside him. Even his thoughts of her success today centered on how happy he was that she would grow and all. Ani is actually happy for her, he is genuinely excited for her and I would say that has never changed - his desire to see her shine - but even now, Ani’s intentions for Jhanak are mixed with his suppressed desires and her success will give her the independence that would make Shristi’s idea of marrying her laughable. With such success, surely Jhanak doesn’t need a man, he believes. With such success, I would finally be at rest, at peace. Yeah, right. I think we all know that guy enough to know that he’s just saying such words to rest his busy mind. From that day, the way makers made Jhanak hit the right point that Ani is only acting good and he is afraid his mask will fall and his hidden desires will come out, and all these weird layered thoughts of Ani of Jhanak that feel so malleable, I think makers are going to do something big with Ani. Of course, they can’t be trusted for a lot. But optimally, if things go optimally, Ani is going to be one hell of a crazy ML. It’s burning houses and telling Shristi Maasi to quiet down for Jhanak when he realizes that he loves her. Because Ani feels to me like he is just teetering on the edge about Jhanak and filling himself up with enough lies just to get through the day. As for Jhanak, I loved her today - except when she was hesitant at the start, mimimized her success for those haters, and when she tried to take blessings of grandma and Tanuja. Like what did you expect after the first time. Why even do it? But the later scenes compensated. I will try to believe that Jhanak cannot own her moment because she cannot believe she can do something. Now, she is all happy and excited at the event and her promo is beautiful and people are actually normal and good to her. A time will come when Jhanak will not be ashamed to own and desire her own success.
