Hola folks,

Here is the second installment of JDJ review for this week for Sunday's episode!

On Saturday, I was left wanting on some KJo humor and Manish's quips...Sunday's episode brought that back...and it was really funny!! Loved it

From the dancing point of view, Sunday was even better than Saturday if it was possible...

The best performance of the show today was undoubtedly Shamita's! Last week if you recall, I said I wasn't too impressed with her dancing...Boy...did she just nail it today!! Everything about her dance was perfect(almost!)...the lifts and falls were just amazing...she deserved a high score and she got it!!

The other highlight of the show was Sanaya and Jai's dance. Yes it wasn't technically perfect...about that I am surprised, because a girl who can dance Teri meri the way she did with Barun...had to be told to keep her back arched?? Why?? Any who...forgetting about that...waltz is my most favorite dance if presented well...and it was presented outstandingly well!! From the dress to the light to the make up, everything had a dreamlike quality about it...loved the spins...loved the flow! Really a great performance from audience's enjoyment point of view...

Surprise factor was Vivian...who did quite well today. hats off to the choreographer for coming up with a routine ...that showcased his strengths and choreographed around him!! Nice try!! I loved the cartwheel variation they did flipping on each other. Very Nice!

Raftar wasn't too impressive today! Although the jive had the speed ...it wasn't clean. But he does have a natural swagger about him...that is fun to watch...

Now to Kavita and Deepika...

I loved how graceful Deepika looks and how she carries herself. She has a beautiful smile ...and she danced well...yes technically not great...but enjoyable. I think the choreographer should use her natural grace and not make her do what everyone else does.

Finally Kavita...what can I say...she is not my type...I am sure she has her following...and I admire her spirit...but she doesn't ring my bell...

Overall, quite entertaining. An hour and half spent well! I m enjoying the show!!

Shamita nailed it she was fabulous, my favorite of this week along with Faisal.

I liked Sanaya act too, the spin on the floor was great and the lifts were clean. She improved this week, I think Lauren is extra critical about Sanaya than she's with the other contestants. Her advice are good actually but she should be the same with the other contestants as well. All of them have flaws and weakness that needs to be worked on.

Vivian performance was entertaining, he missed some steps but I got a good laugh watching the act. Great fun his choreographer is fabulous. That type of dances is very difficult to do and you got to hand it to the guy for atleast trying and yeah he's not that bad actually. He seems to be working hard.

Dipika was good this week and a great improvement after giving the worst act of the week.

I think the comments are edited. What we see is not all that is said...lately they have been providing more time to Ganesh Hegde for his comments and Laurene seems to have less time...

As much as I like Sanaya, my reaction to her dance was the same as Lauren's ...her posture was not up to the mark...very important in waltz...but despite that it was beautiful overall.

Hello great review once and great collages by Di! Deepika was very graceful! Vivian forgot some his steps. I still feel he was scored a bit unfairly! Kavita was decent! Sanaya I agree with you awkward posture! The judges did a tad bit better this week giving some more comments on the technicals of dance! Still wish Lauren can ditch her Hinglish and speak in the language she is most comfortable in. She is capable of giving a lot more constructive feed back. Sometimes I just feel they brought to look pretty.

Shamita is my absolute fav how can I forget her! Dancing totally runs in the family! As her sister is great too!

Hi Red! I think like most Americans (non Indian) laurene probably believes she is respecting the local culture by speaking in the local language...!! I like her spirit to attempt Hindi and she is not all that bad! 😃

Yes, Vivian looked tensed...he needs to relax...

I also agree, judges specially Ganesh did better commenting on the technicalities ..
