& it seems like everyone is putting words in his mouth. All he said is that the show is for people like Shaan, Sid, and DD. He didn't say there shouldn't be any trained dancers. Pros like Lauren and Mukti raise the standard and give non-dancers the motivation to do better in order to match up with them.

And a lot goes into making a show successful and humour definitely helps - I found bharti and Manish really worked well last year and that is probably why the channel roped in Kapil (as a side note, I'm still undecided if this was a smart move). Also, where do you draw the line? Drashti has danced on award shoes and to an extent so has Sid (granted that the dances on awards shows are not complicated and a different calibre of dance is expected on a dance show). Nevertheless even Sid (arguably the worst dancer left in Jhalak right now or maybe not) has more dancing "experience" than lets say Shrikanth...I agree with Salman that in the end you want to root more for the people who have not had as much dancing background because of their other successful careers but can improve and give praise worthy acts.

What I think of Salman is clearly my opinion. You might differ...which is totally fine by me.

And why should I give him credit for something? For what? When he does something that has to be appreciated I will...i wont give credit to him just because someone tells me so.

And yes, i think he is overhyped and Remo is clearly partial...not just him but partial towards Punit too.

I dont see the "fuss"...may be as his fan, you see a fuss...not me.

@Sqrly: a trained dancer if she/he isn't related to any other program/media, that's a huge disadvantage for him/her. Because JDJ gives huge credit to votes. So I don't see any big fuss in that. After all there is no mathematics o say ow many pure dancers celebrity would be there. I will be happy with 50:50 ... After all, it's a show that has to have TRPs, it's not a Dance workshop for non dancers. So only the non dancers who has the faith that they can come up to that level should participate. And similarly, good dancing will not keep a dancer in the show, it has to attract the votes and it's not easy o make people vote for them, leaving the known face of a TV celebrity ... So I find it air and squire.

Salman's just being heap here, IMO ... He actually doesn't need to do that. Drashti is good enough to dance and win without his politics and these kind of comments only defames Drashti... He should refrain from...that's my opinion.
